Re: Nintendo Download: 21st January (Europe)

Just returned to the Switch fold. Boy there are a lot more releases each week now then there were a couple of years ago.
Back then NL used to list all the sale items each week too. Do they no longer do this or don't items always go on sale each week now? Thanks.

@Dom

Why do you need to log in to be able to click the orange link for each game in the sale?

Trying to hide valuable review content or a mistake repeated thirty times over? Amateur hour. Again.

Lets see if any staff read this and correct it.

Sloppy article still with the grammar error in the first line and so full of adverts, after every ten lines of text it seems. Shows site staff don't read the comments any longer.

There are better sites to get your Nintendo fix.

Picked this up, played it on Xbox One last year. The difficulty does ramp up and it's perfect for a few minutes play when that's all you have now and again.

@Pahvi try for good rebound angles, you can often get 5 tanks/choppers with one rock if planned well and luck is on your side.

Thanks for the replies to the three of you who quoted me. Will check out that site for reviews now.

More Switch demo's wouldn't do any harm. Think we've only had one or two new ones since launch day.

No mention of the Rayman demo the Americans are getting on 14th August either.

Graceful Explosion went on sale a couple of days ago.

Looking forward to Rocket Fist reviews. Shame we don't get reviews for release nowadays. Maybe that's the way they want it so people part with the cash before realising they've bought something they wouldn't have otherwise.....

Re: Review: Infinite Minigolf (Switch eShop)

DavidH

Seems 90% of the press and hype around this game is for the course creation part - something which doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Destructoid summary confirms my fears
"Infinite Minigolf shows a lot of promise, but in its current state it's bland. Apart from the course creator, there's just nothing here that stands out from other minigolf titles."

I actually enjoyed a couple of the 3DS mini golf titles so am a fan of the genre.

Re: My Nintendo Now Offers Platinum Points if You Sign Up for Promotional Emails

DavidH

Yes these two "missions" are still there and live today.

"...they also took away two weekly 30 plt coin missions, signing in to mynintendo and the official website."

New rewards are up, discounts on Wind Waker Selects Version on Wii U (20% platinum) and Nintendo Pocket Football on the 3DS (20% platinum, 50% gold).

Roll on the next batch....
