Re: Riot Announces Rhythm Runner 'Hextech Mayhem: A League Of Legends Story' For Nintendo Switch

Coljiromaus

LoL and Overwatch have the most toxic communities I've played, but I still play those games (not now with my ACNH addiction and taking a break from LoL). LoL is a fun game and Riot makes some impressive stuff. I'll probably have a lot of fun with this game. I'm not much of a rhythm player, but I love Ziggs and Heimerdinger. Its $10, not too bad. I think people are missing out on some fun games for avoiding Riot Games. Legends of Runeterra is one of the funnest card games I've played and pretty fair about being able to get any card you want. Wild Rift is the mobile and soon to be console version of LoL and its pretty fun and different, being a lot quicker.

Re: New Harvest Moon Trailer Shows Off Bachelors To Woo And Animals To Wuv

Coljiromaus

Hmmm....looks kinda good for a Harvest Moon game (graphics are a little meh) but I'm not going to touch it until I see more gameplay, especially with Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town is the same month. Definitely very hyped for Pioneers, its like the true expanded version of HM 3D: A New Beginning.
Also, there's definitely still a lot of people that don't know about the Marvelous and Natsume thing, so the disclaimer just has to keep getting mentioned. Very sad for Natsume to be lazy rather than having two great farming series or just sell the name.

Re: Nintendo's Market Value Drops By $1 Billion After Animal Crossing Switch Delay

Coljiromaus

Its really just proof that most investors don't know what they invest in lol. Seems like majority of people have a positive feedback to the Direct.
Although, I don't think its related to Animal Crossing being delayed. Not that I would know, but the lineup for this year and next is strong. Animal Crossing could use the delay to not only make it even better than it already is, but also give us a bit more time to play other huge releases until then. Tons of games to buy and play, no worries.

Re: Talking Point: Is A Nintendo Direct Really On The Way?

Coljiromaus

Idk, probably soon lol.
I honestly don't feel like its been forever. Only when people point it out and its just "oh. I guess you have a point." I just have so much games on the Switch and work, I'm just really satisfied lol. I have tons of games to play and I also have a PC to play games with my friend. I am excited for this year given all the announcements we had about games coming this year. (Im not that interested in what games are coming to other systems or has released besides Kingdom Hearts 3). The Direct will come when it comes and I'll likely really enjoy it. I still have games to buy just don't want to rapidly use up all my hard earned money lol.

Re: Feature: Digital vs Physical - What Is Your Preference for Nintendo Switch?

Coljiromaus

I have it a bit mixed. I have a 128 GB micro SD card and it already feels like its getting full. Physical is good for not only a nice box, but also saving up storage. I don't mind switching up the carts. Beats needing to buy a 400 GB storage or needing to constantly archive games. If I don't like a game, I could also sell it or trade. At least with mix, its a lot more manageable. I've also been mixed with 3DS. Sometimes eShop has nice sales too.

Re: Square Enix Is Releasing A Demo For Dragon Quest Builders 2

Coljiromaus

I loved Dragon Quest Builders, but it really made me want to play Minecraft after finishing story mode. The sandbox mode needed more freedom and more challenge for me to get invested. I'm excited to reexperience and experience new things. I hope it focuses more on the farming and building aspects (which from screenshots and some footage I've seen, it seems to be the case).

Re: Nintendo Wants To Release 20-30 Indie Games Every Week On Switch

Coljiromaus

Eh, just means I'll keep checking the eShop more frequently. I don't up and buy everything that looks remotely interesting anymore. I just buy games that I know I'll like. I have been keeping up with the eShop and my wish list. As long as I get the Indie games I want, I'm happy enough. This does mean that Indie developers need to start marketing a little more because its a bit hard to find the good games out there. A little more help from Nintendo also helps too (more eShop layout improvement please). I like choices and people don't all like the same things. One man's garbage is another man's treasure.
Also helps that I am saving money too. I am not spending too much of my money again as I did when I had $20+ before Octo Expansion, but decided to get an Indie game on sale as I thought it wouldn't come out so soon.
Perhaps I'm a bit weird, but exploring Steam and even Amazon's Kindle shop is quite fun sometimes.
