Re: Nintendo Forgot That You Can't Complete StarTropics Without The Original NES Manual

@Balta666 I'm pretty interested in trying Star Tropics myself, because I've heard a lot about it. Of course, I already heard the code from the people online recommending it.

I was born in '99. I've been enjoying Zelda 1 - with an online guide to make up for having no manual - far more than I expected (I've played BotW now, and 1's age is pretty obviously showing) and far more than I did as a kid playing it on Wii VC before I'd even played Skyward Sword.

@zool Tropical Freeze was challenging, sure, but I don't think it was too hard. In some ways it was more fair than Returns (looking at you, rocket barrels! Also minecarts I guess. But mostly rocket barrels.)
Okay, the temple levels were pretty crazy. But DKC bonus content has always been stupid hard. Really, I have no clue how I managed to complete all of Returns.

Kirby, on the other hand, seems to go by too quickly. Kirby games are a bit more casual and aimed at a younger audience, so I can forgive it for being easier, even if they may have gone a bit far. What it really needed was more content.

@Cobalt You absolutely still can "have a team of three dudes make a game". The Switch even has a few ports of games made by one person - Stardew Valley, Cave Story, probably some random eShop games that are much less famous... Of course, Minecraft's days of being made by Notch and Notch alone are long gone.
Sure, they're not as "big" or "shiny" as AAA games, but people like them anyway. Extremely indie games are still alive and well.

Re: Rollercoaster Tycoon Rated By the Australian Classification Board

Yeah, a RCT Classic port would've been way better.
The Switch will just end up starved for good theme park tycoon games, I'm afraid. Planet Coaster is way too graphically heavy - even for many PCs! Much better for Frontier to focus their efforts on more content for now.
And Parkitect, which is probably my favorite, was running right against the limits of Unity on PC. The developers have been optimizing, but there's only one main programmer, and only so much he can do. Even though he likes the idea of a Switch port, right now it's not feasible.
