Huh? I'm pretty sure Wii U can handle most of Switch's games including TotK. Switch isn't that much better spec-wise.

Also, Pikmin 3 is only $20 on Wii U. It makes no sense charging Switch owners extra 40 just for a new chapter that could've been sold for $5 back in the day.

@HeadPirate where did you get that info? I'm pretty sure Nintendo is replacing the switch in 2 years or even less and it makes no sense to release Splatoon 3 when Splatoon 2 exists and it's still very active.

Splatoon 3 isn't happening until Switch's replacement in 2022.

@JayJ Wii online services didn't belong to Nintendo, they were outsourced.

3DS/Wii U/Switch eShop are all running on the same server.

It's not like they can just kill it off without moving Switch's to a new structure.

@Mogster why would you prefer the original 64 versions over the 3DS remasters? they run at like 20fps, too many bugs, the graphics didn't age well and I don't think Aonuma would pull this kind of foolery on us.

I highly believe we'll get the Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess in a collection but Skyward Sword HD would be a standalone release.

why bother porting this game? It ain't going to sell again and it's not even that good. I'd rather have something else from Platinum Games.

@gamefreak77 9999 hours is over a year. I highly doubt these play counts are real, they're just manipulating it with homebrew and sh*t like that. Nintendo needs to start doing something with these folks if they just can't stop trying to hack everything.

At least they're doing DLC to add new things, unlike Game Freak who's completely clueless of reality and releases 3rd versions in 2019. And also cutting important content off their games.

This is obviously a hack or a bug. I've bumped into a faux hacker who was trolling on Splatoon 2 and he had 9999 hours on Splatoon 2 that was released 4 months AFTER botw, that's like 1 year and 5 months. C'mon NintendoLife.

@business-scrub Pokemon hasn't been marketed for kids in a long time. The huge chunk of the demography are people with 18-32 yo. Just because this game don't have current gen graphics, doesn't mean it was made for kids, it's the worst argument ever.

@simevidas Skyward Sword is the worst 3D Zelda. It’s very linear, repetitive and had so much wasted potential. Despite the good reviews, most part of the fans skipped that one, it sold very poorly for a Wii game.

If the Dexit controversy wasn’t an issue, I would complain but still get it. But every time they show something about this game it gives me less and less reasons to get it.

It seems like Masuda & co. really want to kill off the competitive scene. I’m pretty sure the balancing will be sh*t too, just wait for buffed Charizard and Lucario with OP movesets.

@johnvboy quantity doesn’t mean quality. They’ve been rushing on the games since the jump to 3D in 2013. It’s common knowledge GF lacks the expertise to develop games with actual substance. They prefer to pull a FIFA and release a game every year, that’s why it sells so much. XY was so short people could finish the Kalos league in less than 6 hours. SM looked more like a dumb attempt to copy Yokai Watch and they got rid of a lot of things that pissed off many fans. The last Pokemon game that was actually good was ORAS, but they were remakes.

Where’s the innovation? Replacing gyms with stupid trials and mega evolutions with stupid z-moves isn’t exactly doing what the fans want.

It’s just too obvious they’re only trying to cater to children and casuals now and are giving us - competitive players and/or longtime fans - the middle finger.

I couldn’t care less about this game and what GF has to say.

I went thru the denial and rage stages too quick to even care at this point. They do not deserve my money nor my love anymore.
The apologists can enjoy their $60 game with cut content and GC era graphics while I’ll be playing decent games this holiday season! 🥰
