I don't get why so many companies are against remastering or even porting old games. Nintendo must know these sell for a lot 2nd hand and they get 0 from that sale.

Selling it themselves even of just a download means they get that money back.

Its the same with other businesses. Pop funko and warhammer books come to mind.

In 2001 I bought Seasons and then got Ages in 02.

I just finished Oracle of Ages for the 10th time or so last week. Seasons I beat again not long before.

Recommended to everyone. The linked play is the best way to play both games too.

Did 4 on DS not sell that well? I'd have thought 5 and 6 would get the same treatment and it is a shame it'll probably never happen.

I actually rebought 1 and 2 on wii recently. They are both pretty pricey but this is bound to make them more valuable.

I'll prob get them though. I bought 3 on switch recently so it'll be great to have all 4 on one machine

Patches won't fix bad gameplay.

All I did with this for leaf green was fast level up. I did do things like max stats bit didn't save the game. It made it too easy.

I tried it on gba but still can't get into it. I hope it is a bit more accessible now

I remember reading Nintendo Official Magazine in the months leading up to this release in 05. I had to wait til September to buy my DS and I bought this the day it came out. I must have put over a hundred hours into it, or double that. It really was the best puzzler since tetris

07 for me. Along with so many amazing wii and ds games, there was so much on other consoles too like mass effect 1, bioshock 1 and cod 4.

And of course the wii virtual console gems like super metroid

What a great year. So much money spent.

I still remember when the virtual console was announced in 06. I doubt they said explicitly but it was very easy to believe that this would be forever, or the titles would carry over to new consoles. How wrong we were.

I'm playing this on 360 now. Its a great game. I love how colourful it is. Helps it still look pretty nice today.

I would love to see Fox in an Arwing style kart with a Corneria stage

I first bought this back in 07. Great game. I sold it when I got it for free on 3ds but thought I would buy the cart last week. £30 2nd hand but so worth it. Just a shame zero mission goes for around 50 but hopefully that will come to switch soon.

GBA SP NES Edition. I bought it to replace the original GBA that I gave to my brother next year. I bought it with FZero and Star Wars Apprentice of the Force on 20th September 2004. I bought Pokemon Sapphire the week before, otherwise I'd have bought it then.

This is ridiculously expensive on ds. Eventually I will get it for around 100 pounds or just under. It is insane that it costs so much but if it is as good as they say, it's prob worth paying for more than 4 and 6 put together

I rebought Star Fox Assault recently for nearly 50 pounds. So worth it. That is still great fun to play still.

Skyward Sword on switch came recently but I'm holding off. More tales of vesperia on 360 for now

I would give Metroid Prime a go, if its all 3 games at once. Otherwise I'll stick with my trilogy on wii

Ruby and Sapphire for me. It really did a great job with the end of the world plot being believable and more realistic than some other schemes.

I do love the simplicity of team rocket being criminals just out to make money.

I loved PH in 07 but I was caught up in the hype of a touch screen Zelda that was a WW follow up as well as having just beaten WW, TP and FSA for the first time. The giant temple bugged me but I enjoyed it as it felt different.

Then 2 years later ST came out and I gave up on a pipe blowing sequence. It just wasn't reliable enough and I gave up, much like mine cart jumping on SS.

I've gone back to them this year. Only played PH so far and I've liked it, but the temple is still really frustrating even when you knew what you were doing. However be warned of this.

If you are playing on a New 2DS XL, the built in mic is terrible. I've had to use a regular phone microphone. I dread to think what ST will be like but PH is far worse on this one. They must have changed the sensitivity of it.

Me and my friend used these so much in 2006 to 2008. They were great, along with the dongles you could buy when there was no WiFi

I'm not surprised. Halo 3 and Prime 3 came out a month apart from each other in UK. Even the first two weren't all that far apart from each other (ish).

Putting all 3 separately is quite frankly a con. I still have the wii trilogy but you're looking at £40 - £50 three times for games from the 00s. That's wrong, no matter how amazing they all are.

He was right. It is an outstanding game but there are many gamers who refused to buy it because of the style. That is a fact. It doesn't matter that it aged better than TP, the game suffered in sales because of the art style. Sad but true.

It is still my favourite 3D Zelda though.

Ouch. Carnival Night Zone Act 1 sound the best but none of them come close to the perfection of the original songs.

There is no reason for FZero to be one of many abandoned franchises. So many companies would love to do a sequel I expect.

I'm watching this on ebay right now as on a ds purchase bender of games I played or missed earlier and I somehow never got round to playing these.

I feel like ds is the console to play on though.

Alice Madness Returns dlc and Turok on x360, and now I have a new 2ds, play some of the many games I bought recently after everything downloads of course.

I just bought a really good quality copy of Star Fox Assault for 48 pounds on eBay and as soon as i get a gamecube, I'll be playing it right away.

Shining Force 2 is my fave srpg of all time. Irs so good

Hopefully 2 will get reprinted so I can buy it at a fair price.
