But now I am all about Cult of the Lamb. It’s like if Animal Crossing was built like a game, was fun, and was satanic. This will be among my top 3 of the year. Best part is I only learned about it two days ago so no anticipatory waiting!
Oh yea this exists. Not that it matters to Nintendo’s bottom line but I am still very comfortable ignoring all their sports games from now on. Release a complete game at launch f* heads.
DLC should feel like extra content, not patching in missing content!
@Arkay People have a right to complain about a barebones launch adding 2 boring characters and another arena. It’s a bad trend Nintendo has adopted and I’m not playing along anymore.
The world will be a nicer looking planet without GameStop in it. What a wreck of a store. Like put some effort into designing it so it doesn’t look like dirty thrift store. Someone needs to think about the UX of that place but that’s probably the least of it’s problems and it’s too late.
I didn’t buy Strikers because Nintendo is in a predictable trend of releasing barebones sports games aimed at online play. No thank you. I got Golf and it was mediocre I am sad to say. Missed opportunity. Glad I stayed away from Tennis, Sports, and Strikers.
It looks like someone tried making a xenoblade level in dreams and plopped sonic into it with weirdly placed rails and things that make no sense in the landscape and with slow tedious combat. And took all the energy out of the soundtrack and replaced it with something you’d play at a cat’s funeral.
Just hearing the word Assassins Creed makes me feel exhausted and I only ever played part of 2. I’d rather clean my house, at least doing chores in real life is productive.
Peacemaker kind of already is Duke Nukem. Cena would be great if they got him back. I think he’s exactly right for the role. I’m game! The target demo is my mine and there’s certainly enough of us.
A demo? By the looks of this I don’t even want to download or waste a free moment of my life on a free demo. This game reminds me of the origin of Kellogs Corn Flakes. Designed to be as bland as possible to dampen the sexual desires of the committed.
@dres I dunno. The gap between Switch and current gen keeps getting wider every year. Who knows though. I never tried sf4 on 3ds, was it any good performance wise? As a kid I enjoyed the gameboy version of Killer Instinct even though it was a heavy demake.
Interesting. The more stressed out or depressed or whatever the less video games help. I either get more angry with them which rapidly turns to apathy or guilt and the slow “relaxing” games make me incredibly anxious due to their pace. Haven’t found a good solution yet just need to wait it out.
Glad they help some people through tough spells though.
@shgamer I think the deck will be a compliment to the Switch. Nintendo isn’t interested enough to keep up with tech which is creating an ever growing gap so I think the deck will fill that void. I’ll get one at some point but like you say, let it mature a bit, and maybe get one with an improved battery life. Portable gaming is my preferred style and having both systems would be ideal for me.
Evil Dead baybeeeee! Leveling up my Necromancer and demolishing survivors is a delight I don’t often experience in gaming anymore.
Maybe I’ll give Jurassic World Evolution 2 a go as well later. Also tempted to play Super Mario World, it’s been ages and I’ve never played all the way through for some reason.
@Serpenterror it’s polish and it’s nice to have sometimes. Mk8 is a beautiful game and if someone wants to bring an old track up to par because Nintendo often implements, and is financially rewarded for, “bare minimum” cough cough Switch Sports cough cough practices then that’s cool.
At the end of the day it’s a fun game but isn’t getting the development attention a game like this needs to thrive: Free to play. Regular content drip. More polish. Outfits.
It’d be a shame to let the game die ‘cause its bones are good. But it’s not looking good.
I lost my career of 15 years. I am trying to figure out what to do next while my wife had been laid off. It's a pandemic. And we are expecting our first child in February. It's nutty right now but I've been comforted by Bloodborne. The environment is so immersive and dark. It's just resonating with me right now and I spend a couple hours with it a night. Can't wait for Demons Souls.

@Nightcrawler71 I cannot. Go play Cult of the Lamb

I finally beat Sunbreak so on to endgame quests.

Re: Former Nintendo Employee Claims He Saved The Company From Repeated "EVO Embarrassment"
So cool that Skullgirls is there. I suck at it a bit less than mvc3 but it's one of my fav fighters ever and renewed support makes me happy for it.
Re: Capcom Reports Incredible Sales For Its Key Franchises
@danemord I dont have that many hours (I think 130-ish now) but Rise is in my top 3 most played games ever along with Street Fighter 4 and Persona 5.
Re: Hideki Kamiya: Nintendo Hasn't Ever Asked Platinum To Cover Up Bayonetta
I keep asking Brazzers for a clothed version of their videos so I can watch their stuff with kids and family around but it’s not an option yet!

Re: Video: Capcom, Please Put Dragon's Dogma 2 On Switch
Lol we need a Super Switch 2 Pro stat. The gap is growing wider faster. DD2 is not coming to this system.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge Has Been Updated On Switch
I wouldn’t mind a “retry level” option if I goof up and want to quickly restart without going back to map and all that jazz.

Re: Review: Final Vendetta - A Violent Love Letter To '90s Arcade Brawlers
@Orokosaki a real Elden Ring/Horizon situation. Getting “Elden Ringed” is a new expression now! You heard it here first
Re: Review: Final Vendetta - A Violent Love Letter To '90s Arcade Brawlers
I’m good I just bought Shredder’s Revenge!

@BabyYoda71 ha I had to reread his statement a couple times. That’s not how demographics work mister!

Re: New Sonic Frontiers Gameplay Lets The Blue Blur Show Off His Combat Skills
Ooof this looks really not great. Clunky. Trying to be something its not. Music makes no sense. There is no energy here and no sonic style.
Re: Sonic Frontiers Gameplay Showcases A Pretty, But Sparse Open World
Jesus where is the friggin Sonic art style? Ooof this is painfully generic.
Re: Sonic Frontiers Gameplay Showcases A Pretty, But Sparse Open World
@BTB20 that’s the bottom here. If this reveal was intended to generate excitement it failed. It generated excrement.
