Honestly, i'm kinda glad they are porting all this stuff over from the WiiU. Whenever i've tried to use a WiiU, I just couldn't get used to it. Gamepad just seems really chunky and uncomfortable. Puts me right off playing.
Honestly, I was hugely sceptical about this film up until I read it was about the history of the Western IP rights. Recently finished Box Brown's "Tetris: The Games People Play" graphic novel. Super interesting.
@sixrings Ha, I will admit, they could be more transparent with their plans. Nobody really knows what they have planned. Except Nintendo. And Nintendo do what they want to do. Do do.
If we are talking about who Nintendo owes what, i'm pretty sure they owe the people who make their products more than the people who buy them right now. I'd rather see the developers/manufacturers/designers/what-ever-else-ers be compensated for their work and looked after by a massive company with a massive amount of resources, even if that means delaying games and losing the company some money. And in turn respect the fans for not turning out garbage, rushed games.
I'm a huge fan. Of Nintendo, Sony and Xbox. For all my faults. But I don't expect any of them to owe me anything.
Also, have you played Ghost of Tsushimi yet? Hope you enjoy.
I appreciate the explanation @magrane on what @sixrings is meant to be saying but my whole point is that it doesn't matter what any company is coming out with at the moment. We are here complaining at each other about games, consoles and all other manner of things that might or might not be coming out.
Looking towards the Big N and other developers to deliver the same quality products etc right now is daft and is putting huge amounts of pressure and expectations on every single person involved. Same with Xbox and Sony. If they don't deliver a console or game or whatever this year. Big woop. I can wait. I'd rather have things delayed as long as the individual people are alright, and not suffering things like burnout or financial hardship or whatever.
@sixrings Bit of a false equivalent there because Nintendo isn't releasing a new console this year therefore bloating your claim that Sony & Xbox are fairing better. But ok.
I'm just here for all the people complaining about a company not announcing a boatload of video games during a world-wide pandemic that has severally disrupted nearly every single industry on the planet.
Managed to get myself Yo Kai Watch, Chibi Robo! Ziplash, Code Name S.T.E.A.M and Metroid Prime: Federation Force for just over £10 thanks to the whole Argos clearance thing.
If you want to race cars, become a boxer, or join the army then more power to you. If you want to sit and play games then that's awesome too. Have a nice day

Re: All Pokémon Sword And Shield Players Can Get A Free Shiny Amoonguss This Weekend
Always good to add a shiny form AND a Korean language Pokemon to my HomeDex. Cheers for the info.
Re: Netflix's New Video Game Documentary Series Is Narrated By The Voice Of Mario
Definitely worth a watch for sure. I'm super interested in gaming history.

That's my 400 Platinum Points down the drain then haha.
Re: Stardew Valley Is Getting A Glorious Physical Switch Release, And Pre-Orders Are Now Open
Yeah, I am so very tempted by this. Shame about the shipping cost though.

Re: Pirate RPG King Of Seas Announced For Nintendo Switch
I guess they couldn't bring themselves to name it "Sea King" lest The Pokemon Company's lawyers came knocking.

Re: Nintendo Download: 25th June (Europe)
Duke Nukem and Ninjala. Both feature bubblegum. Weirdly.
Re: Review: Burnout Paradise Remastered - Thrilling Open-World Racing Tempered By Blurry Visuals And A High Price
Might just skip this and go back to playing Burnout Legends on my PSP. Many many fond memories with that game.
Re: Hail To The King, Baby - Duke Nukem 3D Is Coming To Switch This Month
I was legit watching LGR's Duke retrospective this morning and daydreaming about this thing coming to Switch! An absolute must buy for me!
Re: Pokémon GO Players Can Now Catch Their First Sword And Shield Pokémon
Still waiting for them to connect it up with Pokemon Home. Got a few pokes I wanna transfer over to bulk my HomeDex up with. All in good time though.
Re: Random: US Border Officers Seize Over 86,000 Counterfeit Pokémon Figurines
These remind me of the blatant knockoff Pokemon cards you can get at the Chino supermarkets in Spain. €1 for a pack of 50.
Re: Review: The Elder Scrolls: Blades - A Grindy Free-To-Play Bastardisation Of Bethesda's RPG Classic
Ah yes! Bethesda grinding yet another one of my favourite franchises down into dust. Wonderful.
Re: Talking Point: What Did You Pick Up On Black Friday And Cyber Monday?
New phone, an Elgato HD60 S for capturing game footage and Spiderman for PS4! I was tempted with some Switch games but nothing caught my eye.
Re: Random: Yes, We’re Getting Untitled Goose Game Socks
A whole new meaning to a sock that “honks” - This is exactly the type of content I come to this website for.
Re: Nintendo Download: 28th November (Europe)
I don't know much about the Blacksad video game, but the graphic novels are top-notch. Very tempting to try BS:Under The Skin.
Re: Poll: Pokémon Sword And Shield Are Out Today, Which Version Are You Getting?
Shield for sure! Need myself that candyfloss Ponya.
Re: Review: Pokémon Sword And Shield - A Solid Start To Gen 8 On Switch, Despite The Hate
I enjoyed the review, but it didn't answer the most important question, is this pre- or post- Brexit Galar?

Re: YouTubers Life Gets Treated To A New Batch Of Free DLC
I see no problem with people wanting to play this, but why not just do it in real life and have a bit of fun that way instead?
Re: PSA: Make Sure You're Buying The Right Mega Drive Mini This Holiday Season
This arguably does look slightly better than the old Argos one to be fair. That one doesn't have HDMI support or wireless controllers.
