Nintendo offerings are great this year the only problem was the presentation itself sucked. Zelda fans are getting an ONLINE MULTIPLAYER zelda game THIS YEAR. Mario Maker and Mario RPG, Fire Emblem looking great. Xenoblade around the corner. StarFox, Earthbound Zero. Don't let Metroid disapointment stop you from seeing what is good (Metroid isn't looking bad itself)

Have any of these Kickstarted games been made yet? Its been a while since Mighty Number 9 was funded. Barkley 2 was meant to come out last year...

Also people who actually need Fire Emblem Amiibos for Codename Steam deserve priority methinks.

In Australia I can walk in any store right now and grab myself a Meta Knight, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer and a Robin. With just slightly more dedication I can grab Ike and Lucina. Maybe if you markets were as Nintendo friendly as Australia you too would be getting your 3DS models early and your amiibos well stocked

Man that was a pretty in depth review. Devil Survivor Overclocked was a pretty amazing game so I am prepared to shell out full price for the sequel... when it hits Australia

@Moshugan You could walk on Lava in the original Xenoblade. It just damaged you over time. Im assuming the main character has gemmed in some Environmental damage immunity so he can fight that giant enemy crab.

Im happy to pay more money if they actually make a likable cast of people and actual level design instead of the shallow 'I have a character gimmick and thats all I am' Awakening cast with 'Open Fields and enemy spam is tactical right?' maps. Anyways I miss when they did this split path in Sacred Stones and it was free.

Seriously I get NintendoLife need these articles for clicks but you people in the comments need to understand there is a big difference between saying"Jeez that last project I just did was pretty intense and I am not sure if I could do that again" and "I am considering retiring" and that these 'journalists' intentionally muddle the two.

The Problem is noone has a New 3DS. Usually when a special edition comes along the console has been out for at least a year so a lot of people already have one. Now we have the unique situation where the first New 3DS people can actually buy are special edition ones so of course there is ridiculous demand. Unless they make all the New 3DSs special editions people are gonna miss out. I might be looking at this a bit nicer then others though cause I managed to snag a preorder for the MM one
