Let's kick this off with a quick disclaimer. No, this isn't about Nintendo. It's important, though, as it's about some friends raising money for charity.
In the past we've shared details about a host of live streaming fundraisers, from the incredibly successful Awesome Games Done Quick, to Mario Marathons, Zeldathons and more. Lots of people give time to raise money for charity, which is a terrific thing to do.
Friends and colleagues from our sister-site Pure Xbox are taking part in Game Blast 15 right now, live streaming games all weekend to raise money for the Special Effect charity. It's a non-stop 48-hour endeavour with different members of the team tagging in and out while playing various games.
Naturally they're Xbox titles being shown off, with a host of huge releases but also some retro games thrown in. You can see the full schedule and watch what's happening over on the live Twitch broadcast.
You can donate to the cause by visiting its Just Giving page, or learn more about some of the giveaways and plans over on the event's hub page.

Admittedly, not as interesting as AGDQ/SGDQ, but still a very cool event. Gonna spread the word among the XBox fans I know!
If it's for a good cause, good.
I'll check out the Retro games tonight!
@NintendoFan64 Indead.
Watched for a few minutes, good thing they are helping out with charities, if they were playing Killer Instinct on the one then I would watch longer.
That is a lot of streaming, kudos guys!
looks pretty good might pop in and out occasionally to see whats up =)
Will most likely swing in around 8pm for the retro Xbox games to see what its all about.
Woah is Nintendolife and Pure XBox one and the same? This explains so much
