It looks like the EU version is still available on My Nintendo Store, only the version with UK power blug is unavailable. So most of the Europe should be fine for now.
I play in chronological order, though I'm not sure about some chapters. Imperial China, Twilight of Edo period and wild West can take place at the same time.
Anyway, I played prehistoric chapter first, then imperial China. Next I'll do Edo, then Wild West, present day, near future and distant future, in that order.
I do not care about mobile games, but if the series has exceeded three million in shipments, it could tell us a story.
I checked that the original Bravely Default shipped around 1 million by the end of 2014. I doubt many copies were sold after that. Bravely Second on the other hand has sold 700k copies by April 2017.
This would indicate that Bravely Default II might have already shipped more that one million. That is more than I expected, az neither Nintendo or Square-Enix have said nothing of it's performance. If those previous numbers were correct, BDII has sold approximately 1,3 million, which is a good number IMO. Hopefully more like this is coming from Square to Switch.
I feel like Horii once again might have stepped a bit out of line during the presentation. He has done it before, as in talking about things he's not supposed to say.
I remember a few years back some french magazine asked him why Dragon Quest VII on 3DS was not released outside of Japan yet. His answer was something like "It hasn't been released? It will be soon." It wasn't too much after that Nintendo annouced they are publishing VII and VIII on 3DS.
I haven't really thought about my favorite games ever, but let's see:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (2000) 2. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (2017) 3. Final Fantasy IX (2000) 4. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998) 5. Xenoblade Chronicles (2010)
So, roughly 3 years ago was the last time a video game blew my mind. And if there is someone I have faith is able to do it again, it's MonolithSoft.
Sometimes even a piece of paper can be expensive. Konami's Castlevania: Vampire's Kiss is extremely rare by itself, but here in Nordic region, the official release also came with an A4 paper with Swedish quick star guide. That piece of paper is worth about 100€ now. Talk about rare.
May I note that a mod at ResetEra, a board that even this site often uses as a source, encouraged Etika to do a suicide. I would ask not to link to that site anymore, or give them traffic.
Dotemu also ported FFVII and FFIX, both of them suffer from bugs that weren't there in the original versions. I hope they have learned, as a patch was released for FFVII, but we'll see...
I have not played Disgaea games before, but I'm willing to try this one on Swich, whenever it launches. Looks like I'll be playing a lot of RPG's, which is nice, as I love them.
Great to see the series continuing. Haven't played Tower Defence, but Dig was great. I have been playing Heist for a while, but it's not my cup of tea as much. The game is still very well made though. I wonder which genre will be considered for the next game.
I just played the game for some laughs, just the single-player campaign. It was stupid, but fun at the same time. It's interesting to see the reason of Nintendo picking it up (seems like Iwata himself made the decision), too bad the game was mediocre at best.
However, it looks like Nintendo nad Valhalla still have good relations, and they are already developing another game for Nintendo.
All my respect to Iwata and Yokoi, they are legends in the industry. But I still highly respect Yoshio Sakamoto, who had produced many legendary games and also given his name to one Nintendo character. Respect!
I tried the demo, and enjoyed it, so I decided to preorder one in Europe, since we are getting a physical release. 27€ for this physically is a good price IMO.
Great, I'll buy this and refrain from getting the digital version now. Hopefully we don't have to wait for long. If there's a Direct incoming anytime soon, that would be a good place to announce this.
The game is actually a remake, not a port like it was stated in the article. This game is the original release in Japan, which was ported to iOS and Android down the road.
Nagging aside, can't wait for the game, finally we Europeans are also getting the game officially. It also does not bother me that DQVIII was delayed until 2017, as i head DQVII is full of content, and will take a while to finish.
Strange timing, but maybe they are really basing the NX architecture on Wii U, and therefore it's reasonable enough to release TG16-games on Wii U. I know I only had one game for it on Wii, Castlevania (OK, I bough Bonk's Adventure out of a whim, but only played it once).
Hopefylly the support will come to Europe sooner rather than later, with Castlevania in tow. One of the last game I still haven't been able to upgrade from my original VC collection.
Nordic Games actually has released quite a few Wii U games, so hats off for them. I'm interested, and might buy Darksiders or even Legend of Kay sequel. Book of Unwritten Tales is not my cup of tea, sadly.
So, within a few weeks in June, Wii U's retail scene looks like: Wonderbook, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Mario & Sonic and Minecraft. That must be the most retail games being released for the machuine since launch.
It's funny how much people can rip off games made by Nintendo, call them their own ideas and then never even bother releasing them on Nintendo hardware. And still get away with it almost every time.
It really seems quite small event, Zelda better be game of the generation (which it could). But maybe they will have a Direct in May or later in June or July. They have done it before, so this just might be the case.
@OorWullie Considering they call it Star Fox 64 instead of LylatWars, it's probably the USA-version of the game. That version does not have Lylat-voicetrack, though.
I would like to try, although I'm not sure if I can install it. After all, my phone runs on Sailfish OS, and while it does support some Android Apps, not all of them are compatible.
I'll keep an eye out, might be a fun app to mess around a bit.
I have Project X Zone 2 preordered, but that is a retail on for me. I'll probably pick up Dementium Remasteded and Bravely Second demo. That should last for a while.
@Operationgamer17 Drought? In February, 3DS gets both Project X Zone 2 and Megaman Legacy Collection. In addition US gets Fire Emblem Fates and Europe gets Bravely Second. I wouldn't call three high-profile games a month a drought.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a tough one for me. I didn't really enjoy it back then, nor di I have much time to play it now. But if this game's seccuss or failure decids wether Square-Enix releases more Virtual Console games in Europe, I feel like I have to get it...

Re: Bravely Default II Has Almost Reached One Million Sales On Nintendo Switch
This is a great game, much better than Octopath Traveler. It really makes me glad it's selling well.
Re: Square Enix Reveals New Bravely Default Game, But It's Only Launching On Mobile
Hold up, just one thing.
I do not care about mobile games, but if the series has exceeded three million in shipments, it could tell us a story.

Re: Can You Name These Nintendo Console Games From Their Box Art?
13/15. That was quite good. I haven't played the two I did not know.

Re: Special Discounts for The Legend of Zelda Series Coming to the eShop in Europe
I think I might double dip for Skyward Sword, altough I laready have it on disk. Should make replaying the games easier.

Re: Nintendo Download: 15th December (Europe)
I'll take Book of Unwritten Tales 2 at that price. Nothing else seem to catch my eye.

Re: Yooka-Laylee Will Be Getting a Boxed Release
If the update process is not too convoluted, I'll gladly upgrade to physical release. Whenever it's coming.
Re: Poll: What Are Your Most Anticipated Wii U and 3DS Games For the Rest of 2016?
I voted for:
Chase: Cold Case Investigations - Distant Memories
Paper Mario: Color Splash
Rhythm Paradise Megamix
Severed
SteamWorld Heist (via Steamworld Collection)
I'm also interested in Darksiders, altough that one wasn't listed here.

Re: Nintendo Download: 29th September (Europe)
I'll take Steamworld Heist and Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, but I'll wait for a while and buy them physical.
Re: Nintendo Download: 1st September (Europe)
Getting Federation Force physical, and Axiom Verge when I have time to play it properly.

Nintendo has acknowledged Virtual Boy many times in the past.

Re: Nintendo Download: 11th August (Europe)

They also say Europe will be getting TG16-games this week.

Re: Nintendo Download: 14th July (Europe)
I think Swapper will be a good one for 1€. I'll take that. Perhaps Thomas was Alone, too, although I really don't dig it's style.
Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd June (Europe)
I'll upgrade Majora's Mask, altough I much prefer the 3D-version of the game. I will also get Tokyo Mirage Sessions, but physically.
Re: Leaked Legend of Zelda Image Shows Link Scaling New Heights
This promo art alone is better than EA's and Bethesdas conferences combined.

For a second, I thought the next game from MonolithSoft has been revealed.
Re: Poll: Nintendo Has Laid Out Its Legend of Zelda E3 Plans - Are They Enough?
It really seems quite small event, Zelda better be game of the generation (which it could). But maybe they will have a Direct in May or later in June or July. They have done it before, so this just might be the case.
Re: There's Another Resident Evil CGI Movie in Development
I guess it's only natural, as there's also a new live-action movie in the works. These ones generally do release close to each other.
I always enjoyed live-action movies more, but I'll probably see this one too. At least once.
Re: Video: Check Out the Launch Trailer for Shantae: Risky's Revenge Director's Cut

Re: Nintendo Download: 17th March (Europe)

Re: Five Wii U Releases Confirmed for Nintendo Selects Range in Europe

Pretty funny that that a demo of a game is meatier than some of so-called AAA-games. Downloading this as soon as it's available.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th February (Europe)
I have Project X Zone 2 preordered, but that is a retail on for me. I'll probably pick up Dementium Remasteded and Bravely Second demo. That should last for a while.
Re: Hands On: Crossing Over With Project X Zone 2
@Operationgamer17 Drought? In February, 3DS gets both Project X Zone 2 and Megaman Legacy Collection. In addition US gets Fire Emblem Fates and Europe gets Bravely Second. I wouldn't call three high-profile games a month a drought.
