Its funny how people are pretending that they'll care much at all what games Capcom has on the showroom floor for Nintendo's hardware at E3. Do you think people looking for Wii U gameplay will care about cross platform games? No, we're just going to want to know what games are on the way and how the controller is used. If you were Capcom you'd be better served putting that effort into polishing the 360/PS3 versions for the showroom floor unless your game is doing something really cool with the Wii U or it's a massive exclusive title.
Let's be honest here.... we're going to see a trailer or a snippet in a sizzle reel and that'll pretty much be enough of the cross platform stuffs. If we want more for a specific games we'll wander over to the 360/PS3 coverage but for the most part people looking for Nintendo news from E3 will doing so much "ZOMG Metroid/Mario/Zelda" that pretty much everything else will disappear into the fog.
Most likely capcom is waiting till tgs. And the articleis wrong as layton vs wright is by level-5 and they have there own events.
In the end who cares I have a 360 and sucks for the peoplewho are nintendo only.
Sometimes, but look at SF4 Nintendo fans waited and got SSF4 instead of buying the original and finding out there's an update able version coming the next year
I presume that those who complain about the Street Fighter releases here don't play them competitively, and simply then see them as pointless updates.

And can you go a little faster?!
Capcom didn't realise that that's a sign of Nintendo's affection (it's a secret crush, see), but it hurt, and now Capcom's mad.
Capcom hates Nintendo and won't make any more games for it.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is apparently how business works. It's not based on financial reports, IP strategy, console install bases or all those hundreds and thousands of pages of data.
It's not based on the fact a company needs to turn a profit, and has already provided an excess of support for Nintendo consoles recently. Oh no. It's because Capcom hates Nintendo.
Yes, Capcom hates nintendo for a good reason! Even the new system isn't stronger than the hardwares that out already. It means they have to downgrade every single game to be able to play on their system. I totally agree! Nuff said
Holy moley... are you for real?
@Bass_X0 - Your thread title is completely misleading. Nowhere does it say that Capcon will not announce any games for Nintendo platforms at E3.
I'm saying that all the games that Capcom show at E3 will be those already announced, but zero games will be announced.
That's not at all the same as "Capcom won't have any games for Nintendo's systems playable at E3 2012". They are saying that they won't have any announced or unannounced games playable for Nintendo's systems. That says nothing about whether or not they are going to announce any new games and it says nothing about whether or not they are going to have games for other systems playable. On top of that they do seem to be ruling out having announced games playable for Nintendo platforms.
You couldn't be further from what they said if you tried.

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
what is the point of this topic? Does this mean anything to anyone in any way at any time? No, no it doesn't. Go outside, read a book, do something else.
Or make plenty of obvious Capcom jokes. Unironically, these are fun and should continue for as long as possible.

A combination of sarcasm, oblivious rage and eye rolling obviously.

Explain to me where it was said "zero games to be announced?" All I saw was "zero playable," which is entirely different.
Yep, this is exactly right.
I expect videos and trailers.

I presume that those who complain about the Street Fighter releases here don't play them competitively, and simply then see them as pointless updates.
Or play them seriously at all. These updates are far from without value, and often fix the problems that cropped up in the previous version. Street Fighter IV was a heavily flawed game, most of which could only come to light when enough players had spent dozens of hours with the game, that Super Street Fighter IV mostly fixed. Arcade Edition, which is also a DLC update for Super, fixes the rest, adds new online modes, and adds 4 new characters while tweaking the balance again. These updates are far from being without value.
Another Example: I've gotten every iteration of Blazblue, and I still play each iteration. They're highly story oriented, while each one has they're own level of balance for competitive play. I still play Continuum Shift competitively, while I play the other iterations for their stories and unique features (Calamity Trigger has Legion mode and a shop, while CS EXTEND has Abyss mode and an odd profile leveling system).
Not to say people aren't right that getting the initial release is a bad idea. They're usually the most flawed. Marvel VS Capcom 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken also had their own share of problems, so Ultimate version were/will be necessary. Calamity Trigger had horrible balancing for competitive play. KoF is the only one that seems to get it right each time, 2001 and 12 aside, so luckily they haven't needed actual version updates yet outside of each major release.

Same, he's one of my favourite users. Each day I go onto NL, (which is everyday unless I'm away and have no internet connection) its pretty much a guarantee that I'll see at least one awesome comment from him. Sometimes I'll go to a thread or go to thread sooner than I was intending to just because the most recent comment on it was from him. If he was a games journalist, I'm sure he would make some very entertaining articles.
On topic, just because they won't have anything playable, doesn't mean they won't have trailers for games on Nintendo consoles.

disagree, I am very rarely funny outside of making short replies to things other people said. I recently made a topic about how often endings to a series suck, and was proud of it and even that was incredibly flawed, to say the least.
