@Zanzox for online play with rollback netcode, yes, especially when the majority of those games haven't seen rerelease in like 10-12+ years?

generally brother I'd just use fightcade for any of this, but i'd like to play puzzle fighter on the go

i mean, the clear reason to get the capcom collections are the online multiplayer and rebalancing/bugfixing (along with other creature comforts like training mode, museum features, etc.), i don't know why that's so confusing to so many people

@MeloMan both exed exes and son son are pretty simple games but are very fun

@fragranthills in a perfect world we'd get some of the other capcom quiz world games translated as well

@Shadow_Dancer 15 million in fines is about 50x more than the $320k the article says he made, wym?

looking back on this comment section two years later and baffled at how little moderation seemed to have taken place, this is the kind of section that'd absolutely be closed after a point

@CountDrakeulah i don't really think this is the "British Romanticism 2" you're making it out to be

@Orokosaki don't do the crime if you won't do the time, right?

@Orokosaki well most people's families and selves are not multi-billionaires or the corporations thereof, so that might be worth keeping in mind,

@Jamie_R pixel art is just a form like any other, it's style where things shine through

do you go " 'Crime show that's live action'. Very original." often?

looks kind of like a slightly lesser version of those touhou/jack bros metroidvania games, but seems neat enough

@maulinks a declarative like "Yes it is (always a lost sale)" followed by a condition "if it passes a certain threshold" is literally proving their point though, that the default state is not necessarily a lost sale

@Abweegee you're telling me if I go pirate every switch game right now multiple times I could bankrupt nintendo

these articles are always a good litmus test of the bloodlust of NL's userbase, huh

@shonenjump86 took me until now to realize your icon was cobra

man we haven't even seen IV ultra on a nintendo console, let alone 6, first things first

also, chun-li looks really weird in this

risky's revenge was pretty fun, but to some extent it feels like shantae's becoming more "style over substance" as time goes on...

also, bring her hair vibrancy back!!!

i didn't know "chonk" was supposed to be an epic meme word until reading the needlessly sour comments above me, i just thought it was a cute pig (like tepig, who is horribly underloved, or the aforementioned p-chan)

a simple cute design can do a lot! simplicity =/= bad

certainly found all of mine and my best friend from elementary school's flipnotes, i'm hoping for this site's longevity

barely even a year!

not that i don't appreciate the look/hands-on (though i keep reading it as Drainius,) but two articles about a "Maybe It'll Come To A Nintendo Console Tee Hee" feels a bit out of place

@PrinsPaddestoel "on demand" tends to have rental implications in usage (over here at least--see cable companies' "on demand" services for this in action,) so i think it works for stuff like cloud/subscription games which GaaS often are

i'd cheer for neo poke-kun, but take it with a grain of salt i guess

what was even the point then

@iLikeUrAttitude i feel like arms was at least understandable given it was a new ip

@TheCrabMan are you being corny in the nintendolife comments again by assuming people can't have many worries at once son

@meleehunter additional content to an already complete game though...?
also I don't think anyone in history has ever said melee is incomplete, unless you mean balance, which is entirely separate from content

i feel like "defined by her relation to a man" is not particularly better than "defined by her role in the family" frankly

still no scrunt?

@Snatcher umihara kawase

really what i want is new stages, the balance per part felt super out of wack

i've got PSO 1+2 for gamecube, but that's unplayable because i got it really rough secondhand...

master takahashi will never be beaten in our lifetimes, i think

but does it have the himbos.

@HeeHo did you miss every one of andy's comments (which, including replies to, consist of 1/3 the comments, though he has since been wiped from existence) here or

@nessisonett all that guy's games are like that from what i understand, and they are very good (though a bit pretentious)--think he just released another with a lumberjack even

@Ryu_Niiyama wasn't Dragon's Dogma 2 one of the SKUs in the nvidia leak

@bluemage1989 generally if you're going to call 90% of a website untalented hack writers over one snarky review from the snarky reviewer it's not exactly constructive criticism, innit

you comment how much you hate this site's writing so often it's kind of becoming redundant

@Delineman is knowing a single cameo going to ruin a kid's movie for you because man journalists are the least of your problems if so

@Shadow_Dancer this all feels like it lends credence to the angle of "bubble bobble but not"

@drj i bet you say that to all the girls.

i was like "what, snow bros was nothing like bubble bobble, huh" but then two hours later realized i was thinking of liquid kids

collecting my L on this one but standing by the fact he could've at least made some halfway appealing designs if he was going to do this rancid garbage

oh hey that twitter user is the same one who just likes to reply to any nintendoeverything post about miyamoto calling him an elitist for almost 5 year straight now, they're extremely contrarian

as a sidenote, even as someone who loves gaudy and garish designs, these all look terrible, especially the x-like

protodude of rockman corner's been covering this, hilarious to see how many people in the comments here are so quick to believe, as if the people who steal art on the reg wouldn't lie about having someone backing them https://twitter.com/Protodude/status/1526750787942158338

edit: Depressing

@ParadoxFawkes the idea that katana zero is wholly original is hilarious

could this be the first lawsuit all of NL comes together to cheer on

it's not like i adore this site but the way the dude is trying to spin this as "journos misrepresented me!!!" is pathetic

@SteamEngenius if you've got a pc, it's great fun with mouse and keyboard, regardless of whatever "it's not the same experience without a controller" people will tell you
