Anyone else notice the SNES backpacks at 1:41 ?

I have nothing against downloading, but oftentimes, the depreciating price of retail games makes them just too good to pass up, whereas Nintendo's download rates are by-and-large STAGNANT.
I also have no problem with paying top dollar for a game at launch, but if I don't have time to play 'said game', then I'll pick it up down the road, usually at a discount.

Correction, The Wind Waker actually features 49 seemingly-identical fishmen which will fill in areas of the map for you.

Pretty good. I might of made a few changes (eg. voice acting), but overall, I have to say I'm impressed!

I partially agree. But perhaps they could check your offline settings first. For instance, if your account is listed as 18+, requires a password to log-in, and your system has adequately-set parental controls, then that account should be able to download these type of games whenever they want.

To be honest, these style of games really don't interest me, and. . well, . it's Europe's problem. Either way, I'm unaffected.

Also, I wouldn't recommend playing disk or HDD-based in those situations. I wrecked my Wii's disk player once while I was using it in a moving vehicle with my portable Wii screen. All those bumps along the way are really hard on moveable media!

I think I'll shy away from this one.

. . . and even if you can't send them via a wiimote, can't you just add your emulated Wii to your original Wii's address book, send the miis to a "friend" (using the original Wii's Mii Channel [over the internet]), and then haul them in from the WiiU Mii Channel?

Also, do the emulated Wiis support WiiConnect 24?

Still haven't picked up the 3DS version, so this is going to be a difficult choice.

I could understand them doing this if the new controllers use an internal battery/charging cradle system, but otherwise this seems ridiculous.

Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is about this game. I played through the steam version this summer during my vacation and seemed . . . forgettable to say the least.

@The_Other_M I'm not quite sure. I think it might have been that the card got warm and I was so fed up with blowing on the useless thing that I thought "let's try this" and then it worked.

On a side note, I pulled out my aforementioned NSMB cart last night, only to find that the center of it had swollen like a battery gone bad, and my save game reformatted.
