Re: Wii U System Update Is Now Live

@Damo "Software downloaded from the Nintendo eShop will include released updates and will no longer need to be updated after installation"

Actually, today when I tried downloading Zen Pinball 2, I had to download both the game and it's update data. What's more, I was able to prioritize the update data over the app itself.

Also, one more thing to add to the "Changes to Nintendo eShop" list is that app galleries (app screenshots on their respective "More Details" page) are now able to be cycled through, rather than returning to the gallery.

I've got to give credit where credit is due, but honestly, I'd just ditch the nick-knacks and keep my systems in their original forms. Plus, if you're going for a purely authentic experience then the generic controller approach is truly not the answer (Imagine playing OOT with a dial-pad). Lastly, I'd be a bit worried to have a high-powered, experimental system, made from wood, and with low ventilation running unattended in my household.

I'm not saying that this guy has a bad idea, I'm just saying that I would have approached the situation a little differently.

I already got 3d Classics: Kid Icarus with Uprising, and I have to say, it's amazing (especially the music towards the end), albeit with a somewhat warped and reversed difficulty curve.
One of the Punch-Out titles is about to go on sale on the WiiU VC (for 30¢), so I think I'll wait for that.
As for the other stuff, I've already passed it up once, so yea . . . , but great selection this time around

Won't be getting Runner 2 at the moment since I haven't really started an the first (I know, I'm a horrible person )

. . . but I did manage to get Crashmo, Mighty Switch Force HD, and F-Zero yesterday (before their sales ended), so I'll be getting to those in the coming weeks.

Wow, I've been having the best of luck. A little rusty perhaps, but getting hit off the the course consecutively and then Bullet bill pulling me straight off the course twice, what is this?

@Conzo I gouss you and I will be crying ourselves to sleep. :/

Oh well, off to the Battles!

Yes, I expected the devs weren't to blame (having them work their fingers to the bone, before telling them was just cruel!).

It's all because of that overhead, administrative, garbage that goes on. In short, we (the ones who line their wallets), have to suffer as a result of their POORLY THOUGHT-OUT, LAST-MINUITE DECISION!!!

ok, I'm done venting. . . for now.
