@Damo "Software downloaded from the Nintendo eShop will include released updates and will no longer need to be updated after installation"
Actually, today when I tried downloading Zen Pinball 2, I had to download both the game and it's update data. What's more, I was able to prioritize the update data over the app itself.
Also, one more thing to add to the "Changes to Nintendo eShop" list is that app galleries (app screenshots on their respective "More Details" page) are now able to be cycled through, rather than returning to the gallery.
@NintendoMaster I know, I made the same mistake myself. Reading a little deeper, you'll find that this message actually pertains to an old update (the first major update which ran the risk of bricking systems)
I can't say that I'm not happy, but the art style they chose seems a bit, oh, how shall I put this. . Crude. At the moment, the 3D images look like something from an early N64 game, and "Drawn Link" looks like he's set for a narrated Indie adventure.
I've got to give credit where credit is due, but honestly, I'd just ditch the nick-knacks and keep my systems in their original forms. Plus, if you're going for a purely authentic experience then the generic controller approach is truly not the answer (Imagine playing OOT with a dial-pad). Lastly, I'd be a bit worried to have a high-powered, experimental system, made from wood, and with low ventilation running unattended in my household.
I'm not saying that this guy has a bad idea, I'm just saying that I would have approached the situation a little differently.
I already got 3d Classics: Kid Icarus with Uprising, and I have to say, it's amazing (especially the music towards the end), albeit with a somewhat warped and reversed difficulty curve. One of the Punch-Out titles is about to go on sale on the WiiU VC (for 30¢), so I think I'll wait for that. As for the other stuff, I've already passed it up once, so yea . . . , but great selection this time around
Won't be getting Runner 2 at the moment since I haven't really started an the first (I know, I'm a horrible person )
. . . but I did manage to get Crashmo, Mighty Switch Force HD, and F-Zero yesterday (before their sales ended), so I'll be getting to those in the coming weeks.
Wow, I've been having the best of luck. A little rusty perhaps, but getting hit off the the course consecutively and then Bullet bill pulling me straight off the course twice, what is this?
@Conzo I gouss you and I will be crying ourselves to sleep. :/
@pixelman This is why I love Nintendo, not the specs, but the franchises, the solid game-play, and the light-hearted experiences with friends and family.
I still don't get it. Why does it have to run through the LAN adapter instead of WIFI, better yet, why does it have to run through the Wii U at all, can't they just patch the 3DS version?
The only one I have is Bird and Beans.
. . . but I have to say I got burnt out on PM:TTY and Super Paper Mario and I think I'd want to play Kirby and The Amazing Mirror, Kirby's Epic Yarn (both backlogged), and Kirby's Adventure before I pass judgement on the series.
That said, I don't see anything jumping out at me begging me to cash in my coins atm.
Yes, I expected the devs weren't to blame (having them work their fingers to the bone, before telling them was just cruel!).
It's all because of that overhead, administrative, garbage that goes on. In short, we (the ones who line their wallets), have to suffer as a result of their POORLY THOUGHT-OUT, LAST-MINUITE DECISION!!!

Re: The Wonderful 101 Is Focused On "Fun" And Not Game Length
Seeing as I haven't had a lot of free time lately, it 's nice to play a short game knowing that If I want to, I can revisit it later. See Portal (1).
Most I'm a long-play kind of guy, but every now-and-then a short game can be refreshing.

Re: Wii U System Update Is Now Live
I'm not sure about you guys, but I haven't been seeing that amber light when I turn the system off while downloading something.

I think I might give this a pass, it's not like I don't already have a car inverter lying around.
Re: Satoru Iwata Taking Over CEO Role of Nintendo of America

Re: Rumour: Wii U System Update Could Go Live Tomorrow
Apparently, Nintendo has retracted the posted release dates.
Check the article's sources if you must.

Re: Japanese 3DS Owners Can Now Post Images Directly To Social Networks
While this is ok, I think we'd all much prefer the ability to post screenshots of all games through miiverse!

Re: New Legend Of Zelda Title Confirmed For Nintendo 3DS, Due Late 2013
I wonder if it'll be a bit like that multi-screen take on The Legend of Zelda from last November?

Re: eShop Leaks Possible Date For Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move
Objection! It will be the third title in the series to see a digital release. (the original Mario vs. DK was a 3DS Ambassador download)
Re: LulzSec Members Who Hacked Nintendo Plead Guilty To Charges
Honestly, if I were Nintendo, I'd focus my legal battles more on anti-piracy efforts.
This, though intrusive merely means that Nintendo needs to beef up security in some places.

Nice! I was actually looking in to this earlier today.

Don't you mean "this" week?
Anyway, it looks awesome, glitch, or no glitch.

Re: You Can Now Control Your PC With Your Wii U GamePad
Yes, a driver that lets the PC see a WiiU Pro controller as an Xbox 360 controller would be awesome!!
Also, I've used glovepie before, and it works quite well, but getting the controllers to pair can be a real pain.
Re: Surprise Ubisoft Sale Arrives on Wii U eShop in North America
