I still think you should be able to change folder color and choose between:
single letter label,
up to four-letter label, or
peeking at one of the games inside.

As for the eShop update is great, but shouldn't the "Add to Wish List" button hide when viewing games you already own and games disappear from your wish list when you buy them?

There go next month's play coins (sorry KI: Uprising).
Currently, I have 13 blue pieces missing across half a dozen panels.
With the addition of this new panel, (I'm going to need to become a marathon runner ).

Even though I'm one of the better Maka Wuhu time trial glitchers in the area, I far from exploit other racers online. Unless I know my opponents are going to use the glitch, I usually just fall back, watch what they're doing, and try to catch up.

@ImDiggerDan My sentiments exactly. That video made me really see the beauty of the multiplayer. Plus, the inclusion of the remastered NES 3D classic has had me on the fence. However, I'm not too keen on the main story game-play.

Bah, who am I kidding. I've yet to break the seal on my copy of SM3DL and I've barely scratched the 150cc surface of MK7, much less the NL community. I might pick this up in a bargain bin though.

If this one is anything like it's predecessor on the DS, than I'm bound to enjoy it. However, HDTV lag and continued lack or a restart button worry me.

I just picked up a copy last night. too bad I won't have time to play it until next weekend.

Re: Nintendo Considered a 3D Screen on Wii U

@sillygostly This.

Essentially, you would hold a touch screen with buttons and motion controls and (depending on your TV) and a 3D (upper) screen. . . Looks to me like the makings for a 3DS player.
Perhaps there could be a Wii U--3DS dock peripheral which allowing players to enjoy everything from their portable (yes, including the Menu) on the big screen, while charging.

Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!

Looking around the site, I have to say that the transparent layers and overlays (particularly at the top) greatly improve the aesthetics of the site. The search feature also seems a bit snazzier.

However, sharp corners and stark white borders at the top of the page seem like a bit of a setback. I understand that this is just one step towards the new design, but I feel that things such as more subtle border colors could help 'round off' the site.
In addition,I know that the team is going for a more bolder brighter look, but the text is possibly too dark. I much prefer the shade used in the "Leave A Comment" box. Also, the newer bolder headings seem to make the titles longer than necessary.
Oh, and I miss the fact that clicking the site logo no longer takes the user to the home page.
I really like the fact that you can read all your recent posts by either selecting your avatar or clicking "My Account", but don't you think we should also be able to find our posts on the "My Account" page?

Don't get me wrong, I love the site and the new design is great. There are just a few niggling factors which deserve the same care and attention.

Re: Talking Point: When StreetPass Reunites Old Friends

I guess I'm not doing as bad as I thought (without attending related organized events). So far, I've StreetPassed 10 random individuals for a combined 28 times. 2 or 3 also had Mario Kart 7. I now have completed 4 "old" puzzles, am waiting on the pink pieces from 2 of the newer ones, and just started my fifth "old" one today!
