@larryisaman If I remember correctly, I asked my manager whether I can take a stuffed Horton from the Horton Hears a Who movie, but my manager said no. One garbage bag was filled with a bunch of stuffed Hortons, tags still on 'em.
@larryisaman I worked at a Blockbuster and was shocked when they told me to take garbage bags of unsold merchandise into the bin because they had to clear it for the new-season stuff.
@Maulbert Hecky naw, mate. The layout of the buttons makes it the perfect RPG controller for me. And the little C stick can be great for the camera in said genre.
@BoFiS My 8yo can play Mario Kart all day, every day. I plug in the beginner options and soon enough she gets competitive. Wonder lasted about 30 minutes before she deemed it too difficult. My 12yo likes Wonder just fine.
@Burning_Spear Heh, I remember convincing my parents the PS2 would be a worthy upgrade from our PS because it also played DVDs. I added that I'd buy the family's first DVD as an Xmas gift to my little sister, which I did (The Grinch with Jim Carrey, full screen version).
@Ryu_Niiyama This is similar to how I interpreted it. I read it as, "Hmm, this is great. Are you gonna be fully committed to make sure it's as great as can be envisioned? My mind is already racing with everything this might involve. Gotta give 100% from start to finish. PS, to let you know I'm serious too, I already got a team ready for you."
@Ecto-1 Same. I love these sticks. They're quieter during movement and have a nice "thock" when I hit the stick against the gate. Been playing lots of TotK without any issue. I also like how the caps can be removed and replaced. The black caps clash with my theme so I'll be getting white caps.
@Coolmusic When Netflix was starting their Marvel shows, I thought The Mask would be an amazing series if taken from the comic book. Would shock a wide audience if their exposure comes from only the films (and I love the Jim Carrey version).
@sketchturner Same. I used to be obsessive, but realized in my early 30s that they got in the way of things that brought me true joy and improvement. Nostalgia, I've learned, is a dangerous thing for me. It prevented me from experiencing true joy as an adult. I now focus more on the world around me than my virtual world.
Of course, I still like games, but play no more than an hour or two a week.
Thanks, homie. I pre-ordered two from Amazon last year the first day it was available. The first one delivered, but the second got canceled due to unavailability. Crazy.
@sandman89 Ah. I think the main thing with CTR is controlling drifting. While I could get some good drifting with MK, it was never as tight as CTR. I would suggest practiciing drifting in CTR, and you may (or may not) consider CTR as really fun.

@sandman89 I grew up playing CTR. I got easily adjusted to MK, but MK always felt so imprecise to me compared to CTR.
