Even though stock has been getting better I would be shocked if there aren't issues post Mario odyssey and the holiday season

I have flashbacks to Wii launch year when after visiting 5-10 stores my mom left work because bestbuy phoned her and told her they would hold a Wii for her for 10 minutes

Really hoping the graphical style stays like that and doesn't become 2D sprites in the worlds based on indie games. I don't mind 2D art but I feel like it's overkill at this point
EDIT: Exception would be for the minigames - would be cool if they were developed by different indie studios. Just don't want the whole game to look like that

Reminds me yesterday how a non-gamer friend came over and said "You have a Nintendo Wii Switch?! Do you have that new game Zelda?". At least it's good that the general public have a better understanding about what it is than the Wii U

I think I may pre-order it. I've never played the original and am undecided. For some reason the sticker sheets and instruction booklet seems to help as I like collecting the cases

Well, if they went through a different company to make the port, that might explain the increase.

I will probably still buy it using Amazon Prime. Still a decently priced game if it truly is 10+ enjoyable hours.

Great news! Hopefully this gets more 3rd party developers interested! If the rumour of a main game Pokemon are true, that along with Super Mario Odyssey would CRUSH sales this upcoming holiday season. As long as Nintendo keeps marketing...

I was kind of regretting it leaving the store and when I brought it out and thought "oh this is actually REALLY small". But then I popped in BOTW and it just feels right. I have large hands and the joy cons are a perfect size for them unbelievably.

Does anyone know if Nintendo is opting out of the actual conference again? Last two years they didn't have much to show but now I'm sure they do (if the rumours are true and they announce Pokemon, that would be hype enough regardless of the other games)

@Yasume So not accurate. Maybe not as good as other launches, but far superior to the Wii U and 3DS (they both had next to nothing their respective years).

I usually buy around 5-6 games a year, but I already know I am purchasing Fire Emblem Warriors, Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Skyrim, Rime, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Super Mario Odyssey. Plus, there are other games that hold my attention like Arms, Snipperclips, Super Bomberman R and Project Sonic. I am sure there are unannounced games for the summer-holiday season as well.

I really hope they add a few more selects before the end of Wii U. I have not yet purchased Super Mario Bros U or Hyrule Warriors for example, but definitely would if they make it to the Selects line!

Looks amazing but the ONE thing that scares me is they keep mentioning how Link is "all alone" and one of my favourite parts of LOZ is the quirky characters! Hopefully they are still included even if they are spread out across the world.

Also this is the first time I actually wanted to purchase an amiibo.

They definitely meant waiting for the train to pass and probably hash tagged MK8 because it's the most recent game, and the only one worth advertising on twitter (not to sound negative!)

I only had SSFIV but own both a wii u and 3ds so had to buy the full package

@Tazcat2011 I actually enjoyed the first one! If its less than 10$ I'd say DEFINITELY get it - that's such a small risk.
I loved how it was kind of like a classic platformed and some of the levels were really creative- just some of the controls were a little clunky but it did not ruin it for me!
