While not hideous,
It has certainly taken away from my desire to play this new Awakening..

It's also strange to me how well people have taken to this new style compared to WW's.. :
It wasn't pretty either, but at least it showed so much more personality..

Needless to say,
One Loz in the "lego / funko" style is more than enough ..
If they're going to continue with it, please keep it far away from the main games..

To me, the first pass was a huuuuge disappointment..
A few of the characters were alright, but none of them were truly exciting enough to warrant the purchase.

While I'm almost certain I'll enjoy pass 2 more than I did the first, I'm going to buy them individually this time around.

Lesson learned. :l

You'd think they'd offer a nice discount or toss in the Mii costumes for those who buy blind..

The new Wolf, Chameleon & Dodo look interesting..

The way I'm reading it..
Dlc ones are the sets tied to their respective characters, correct? "Persona,FE,Banjo,FF.." ?
These are the only exclusive ones?

It was a fine concept overall,
but the younger crowd kinda ruined the experience..

I'm in the camp that believes Ninty ought to be focusing efforts on expanding the Switch's interface,
it's so barebones compared to the much more ancient, 3ds.

Badly in need of social support,

Definitely enjoyed it more than I am with the Switch so far.. :/

I would probably give Miiverse a second chance if it made a comeback..

From most to least desired:

1. Leon Kennedy
2. Lloyd/Kratos* (Final Smash)
3. Rayman + Rabbids
4. Paper Mario/Luigi & sidekicks/star powers
5. Amaterasu (Honestly would have preferred WolfLink)

Ephraim is the only FE character I am willing to forgive, should they decide to go that route again..

I haven't been following this game too closely..
But so far I'm getting camp/naturey vibes...

Which I find disappointing..
I was hoping it would go in the city folk direction and really EXPAND on it..

I'm talking about being able to build
Carousels, Ferris wheels,
Manage and decorate hotels (more rooms!)
and shops (malls)

Meanwhile...
I have yet to see anything truly "new"
Surely they have new animals, right? ...

Hopefully they're saving something big to surprise us with-closer to launch..
But "Eh"...this is Nintendo..
I'm used to being let down by now ..

While I greatly prefer 2nd/3rd parties in general..
I have to wonder why Paper Mario never became a thing..

Anyone who grew tired of Miitomo was clearly using it all wrong or sadly didn't have the good fortune of finding the right group of people to play with.

Horribly underrated, imo.

I've mentioned it several times on this site in the past..
This game was a Godsend for RPs & Writers in many ways!
But even at its core, as someone who enjoys captions, dress up, & being stupid with friends..
The loss of this app was such a devastating blow, personally.

I feel this game would have been perfect as a streetpass game, and can see how it can be abused..
Still.. How neat would it be to have it revived on the switch?

I can't express just how much joy it would bring me if they released a follow up to Tomodachi life..with Miitopia & Miitomo elements.

At the very least, letting us hold on to it to play offline would be enough ..

*Finds logging in to be a hassle

It breaks my heart that almost everyone seems to have forgotten Kid Icarus or doesn't care... :c

I would say it's closer to Nintendogs in that you're able to pet, feed, dress, and play with them.

Now if only they could integrate animal crossing levels of interior decoration..

It's enjoyable but gets repetitive FAST!
I can think of several dozens of simple improvements they could have made..
A major gripe is wanting to have a bit more control/influence over their relationships,
rather than leaving everything to chance.

And after losing Miitomo (which had some wonderful features along with vastly superior wearables)
It's difficult going back to this outdated thing..

I'm keeping my fingers crossed in hopes we're treated to a meatier sequel one day.
Likewise for Miitopia...

Still absolutely adore them both to bits though!

The way I see it, it's more of a polished remake of the WiiU smash than a "New" game..though I'll admit, I can't make a fair judgment on it until I've played the final product for myself.

So far, the changes weren't drastic enough to excite me so...I'll probably be able to sit this one out until there's dlc or price drop.

Personally, I would have preferred entirely new characters & features over micro enhancements.

Maybe I'm wrong.. -shrugs-
On a final note:
Port, Remake, New ??- Technical terms aren't important, what matters is that fans are content with the product itself.

Almost considered buying a 360 just for this game, good thing I put it off for so long!

Can't imagine loving it more than I did TOS, but I'll take it~ :'P

It's the quick and easy way.. (&they've already done the same with other big name franchises)

We already know there are many Smash fans who would willingly re-purchase under the right conditions...

This is a slap to the face to those of us who truly cared for the game..

It may have been a dumb silly app for most folks (&I don't blame em,it was flawed in many ways)
but to me...
it was a wonderful way of watching my characters come alive.

Although I was fortunate enough to have found some quirky folks to play with from day 1, what really kept me coming back were the features themselves.

I don't know how many people realized just how well the app doubled as a character development tool.

Questions aside,
With miifotos, I could recreate favorite scenes.

The clothes, possibly the most beloved feature for many Mitomo fans & with good reason!
We had a whole plethora of cute/cool items to play with. (EVEN IF THEY WERE A ROYAL PAIN TO COLLECT!)

But really,
what I'll miss most,
is hearing them speak in their unique TTS voices.
[using the catchphrase input]
My sisters & I spent many weeks 'conversing' with & role playing our OCs.
Leading to plenty of laughs & ideas for the main 'book'.
-Something I've never done before, which not only brought us closer together, but has also inspired them to join in on the project.

I'm still devastated over this loss that I admittedly cried following the death of our sidekicks.
(it didn't help that it gave out on us during a more sentimental scene..)

We were able to squeeze another week out of it by simply leaving the app open with airplane mode on.
I was almost willing to replace my new phone just to be able to hold on a bit longer..
which I fortunately didn't, since the phone ended up restarting itself anyway.

I seriously hope we'll get to see a successor one day,

*Why couldn't they leave us with an offline version....

Perhaps because I only see him becoming another heavy-set character I wouldn't have the patience to use.

Being forced to play as a male character never bothered me, personally. The only times I choose the female role is when there's an option to marry a pretty boy. XD -falconpawnched-
