Re: Capcom's Resident Evil Series Has Doubled The Lifetime Sales Of The Company's Former Champion

@Wavey84 Smash is mixing things up. The fighting style is changing and new modes are being added. We had story mode in Brawl which was amazing and completely changed the game mechanics from Melee. Then in Ultimate we had Spirit mode and level editing to let you create you own levels. Plus we had Amiibos that let you train and level them up. Also Mii Fighters were a big innovation into the series.

Kirby is never safe. Kirby always changed. Look at Planet Robobot. Kirby Epic Yarn, Kirby Canvas Curse, Kirby Air Ride, Kirby Kirby Pinball, Kirby Dream Course, Kirby 64, Kirby tilt n Tumble, Kirby Mass Attack, Kirby Amazing Mirror, Kirby Return to Dreamland, Kirby Battle Royale, Star Allies, etc. All completely different and unquie.

And the New Super Mario Bros are different too. The 3DS is single player and nothing like the Wii version. The Luigi version was dlc and doesn't count, so your point is not that good at all. Mario games are very different and innovative when compared to Resident Evil, it isn't even close.

And comparing Street Fighter to Smash isn't close either. Through the 30+ years and 20+ installments, SF has barely evolved. Capcom always plays it safe. And Street Fighter in the future is not looking bright either. I bet next SF is gonna be SF 2 Remake, that's how predictable and boring this company is.
