@StevenH Operating income is 2.2billion, but comes after operating expenses have been deducted. So we don't know what those developmentsame expenses are. So Nintendo would cost them 100billion to buy.

@StevenH It's not a good indicator. We have no clue how much debt or stuff they have planned that they're spending money on. You also can't really put a price tag on Nintendo cause it's IPs are worth an insane amount of money.

@Giygas_95 Nintendo won't discount XC cause it needs all the money it can get. Nintendo only discounts games that hits pass it's sell requirments. This is why Nintendo employees are some of the happiest, well payed, and don't complain much.

If people didn't want your game at your asking price, then you have a much bigger problem that a price cut will never fix. Fire Emblem should be getting one soon. I'd expect during the holidays.

@Elvie Death Stranding was a massive failure. It's been reported Sony was left with over 3 million copies sitting in warehouses. Sony has to use big discounts and even then couldn't game going.

The reasons Sony are pissed at Kojami is the exact same Konami was. Konami was right, Kojami was bleeding them dry. People hate on Konami, but now that Sony is fed up with Kojami, since being Sony, fans will turn on him quick.

His days are numbered, would even be a safe bet that he's done and will most likely quit video game development and do movies like he always wanted to do.

@ACNHislit Sony gave Kojami a bunch of money to help him start his own company after he was fired. Kojami is notorious for going way over budget. He's crazy about making his games look the best ever and even makes his own expensive engines to achieve it. He spends crazy money on actors too.

He also takes a very long time to create gsmes. He's a perfectionist. One probelm is his games never sell good. Konami had to cut MG5 cause he was taking too long and going way over budget.

Sony spent all that money on him. He made his own engine, hired a bunch of expensive people and released one game for PS4. Now hell need money to develop another engine for PS5. Which will have to come from Sony again cause his game didn't get him enough profits.

He's use to spending others money. But unless he hits big profits, he'll continue to bleed people dry. Big budget games have to sell in the 7-10 million range to make a OK profit.

@technotreegrass I was gonna upgrade to PS5, but I'm going to go with a Switch/PC/Xbox combo. I'll miss some of Sonys games, but I like PC gaming the best.

They should be focusing on standing apart. It’s in Nintendo’s and Microsoft’s best interest to focus on exclusives. It’s smart of Microsoft to focus on taking over PC since Windows. But Nintendo doesn’t make PC operating systems, so stay far away from Microsoft.
