I think the art style is great and fits the game very well, this is a 9 out of 10 for me, this is such a lame review, this is why I do not trust video game critics, this game is not supposed to be BOTW, it looks fun, and is going to be worth the full price of 60 bucks, it is going to be better than anything on the PS5, that system has ZERO QUALITY GAMES, at least diamond and pearl blow away anything Sony has. FACT NOT AN OPINON. me and sister will enjoy the games. I hope the pokemon company remakes all the classic pokemon games in this style, it fits and will make them better than the originals, so 9 out of 10 for me, video game critics would not know a great game, if it hit them over the head.

@sixrings No, some can be defective. Ivam saying that I've seen people on videos and in person leave their Joy-Cons out and dust can easily get into them. I am not saying that some haven't been naturally defective.

When I first got my switch in 2017. I did not cover it up and I set it by the TV , the joy Cons got drift from collecting dust. We replaced them in 2019 we got new ones and I keep them in a case after playing my switch, I have ZERO JOY CON drift. And the number one cause of joy con drift is dust. I keep my switch in a case when not in use, and I have not had one problem with drift. Maybe fans should take better care of their controllers instead of leaving them near the TV in the dock all day. COLLECTING DUST. as far as the ones that wear down, yes all the console makers should do a better job. The ps5 controllers have drift problems and trigger buttons breaking, and they are being sued as well, so it is just not Nintendo.
But when it comes to drifting because of dust. THAT IS THE GAMER'S FAULT NOT NINTENDO. People need to take responsibility and take better care of their stuff, I have never had to replace my new joy Cons, no drifting for me, and now I have had my switch lite for over a year now and still no drifting, are magical fairies protecting me? No, I take care of my systems now.
Oj player essence has never replaced his joy Cons he has had his switch. Since 2017. Why hasn't he experienced joy con drift? It is not all 90 million switch owners. Maybe the ones that are not experiencing it are the ones who take care of their systems and controllers. Please can anyone tell me why my replaced joy Cons have never drifted? For those who do and they are wore down , then yes the whole industry needs to do a better job. But at least Nintendo is repairing them for free, something Sony is not doing. So Sony once again doing one worse than Nintendo.

@JayJ It is the attitudes some people have. And most games have some sort of message. Zelda is about nature vs the industrial age. Miyamoto said it was. COD is a military propaganda game.

I agree with you Nintendo life, but look at the comments, people complaining about it would have been political, I wish they would have done it. Climate change should not be political, it should be something we should ALL CARE ABOUT. Game developers should not be scared of fans crying about a serious subject like climate change, so many gamers love playing games in an apocalyptic setting , bombs and wars destroying the world and playing in the after math, if you like that and do not consider that political, then why not play a game, where the setting is before the apocalypse? You know the consequences that you face because of what led up to the war or whatever. If people want games to be like movies, then let the have stories that challenge us.
Climate change is very real, and it is not a left vs right issue , it is an issue we should all be concerned about, and I would applaud and welcome a game that dealt with the matter, I like fun games to, like Mario, yoshi and Kirby. But I like an interesting story in a game every once in a while, why not deal with problems of the world that we are facing today? I wouldn't mind, if you don't like it, then do not play it. As long as the game has great gameplay, that's all that matters to me. And I think if developers can make a great game with a great story, no matter what the subject matter, then I say go for it. I liked to be challenged, and think developers should not be afraid to limit themselves when it comes to making the game they want, you don't like it? Then don't play it.look at the grand theft auto games, people enjoy these game with the type of stories that seem to applaud criminal behavior, fans love that, but have a problem with playing a game about climate change? That makes no sence to me.

Word to Nintendo, do not give in to crying fanboys , take your time with metroid Prime 4, and Bayonetta 3, if they do not come out for another 5 years, then that is fine with me, take your time with all your games. Like the great Myamoto , said a delayed game can be good, but a bad game can be bad forever. Take your time on all your games, I can wait for a great product.
That is the problem with so many companies these days, rushing an unfinished game out the door just to quiet down some cry bag fans, who keep whining about when is the game coming out. Well here you go, this is what you get. It took almost 5 years for Atlus to bring out Shin Megami Tensei V. 5 years players cried where is it? And thankfully Atlus IGNORED them. Took there time and made a great game.
So many gamers today have no patience, none, and you end up getting games like cyber punk and GTA trilogy. So my advice to all companies that make games, IGNORE THE WHINING FANS, take as long to make a game as you want. Nintendo does, and we get games like, Zelda BOTW, Super Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem 3 houses , Mario Party Superstars, Smash bros. Ultimate, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, ASTRO CHAIN , and the list goes on. So yeah , gamers want a game one month after it is announced or the whining starts, that the game is dead, it is never coming out, and so on, well like I said IGNORE THEM, take your time. People need to grow up and start having patience, which do you want ? Cyber punk and GTA TRILOGY, or do you want BOTW, and Mario odyssey? I Think I made my point. BE PATIENT GAMERS, GREAT GAMES TAKE TIME TO MAKE.

I think Nintendo will do a better job, they listened with Mario party superstars, and it went back to old Mario party, it is the Mario party game we have all wanted, they do listen, and I think they will fix the online expansion pak. I am willing to give them the chance to do it. You want dormant franchises? Cruisin blast, advance wars and big brain academy say hello. People wanted a more in depth Kirby game? We get Kirby and the lost land. They do listen , and I am patient, in the next few months, I think the expansion pass will be much better.

And do not just think the Switch is the only one with problems, the other console version have their problems as well, this is not the switchs so called limitations, it stinks on all the systems.

My sister is going to get this game, looks fantastic. I love the horror elements, and all the rpg elements, I am glad there is an easy mode, so I can play too.

I do not like the garbage and the sand castle ones, they are very unimaginative, my favorites are still Pikachu and Evee.

This is exciting, will be checking this out.

I have heard and seen that all platforms, have been having problems. Not just switch, so not the Switch's fault.it is rock stars for making a poor port.

@YusseiWarrior3000 , it was a joke, meaning just how far Nintendo would go before letting Netflix come to switch, you know how stubborn they can be on somethings.

I do not think we are ever going to get Netflix. When Netflix leaked the Zelda animated series, that ended the relationship with Netflix and Nintendo, I am happy with Hulu, one movie and TV streaming service is good for me. We will probably get porn hub, before we ever get netflix.

I love relaxing games like this, I wish nintendo would make a nintendogs and cats for the Switch, well they made club house games and big brain academy, hopefully they will be next.

Amazing how far Peter Jackson has come from doing movies like brain dead, bad taste and meet the feebles. To now one of the biggest movie people of all time, wonder what this venture will bring.

This game looks so great , I cannot wait to get it, I love brain teasing games like these. I noticed that Nintendo Life showed Christina Aguilera, but didn't Neil Patrick Harris and his family playing big brain academy? Are you afraid of the homophobes? And their homophobic comments? I am glad Nintendo shows REAL FAMILIES GAY AND STRAIGHT ALIKE. they really are a system for everyone.

I love this , all of this plus the paid dlc was worth every penny. The game just seems so much better, and I will always play this master piece of a great game.

Cannot wait for these great games to come out. I am getting diamond and my sister is getting pearl.
