I was confused by Fortnite being on there at first.
Huh, I didn't realise Decadence released earlier in Japan. I thought it was to be a simultaneous release for some reason. Either way, that's another 20,000 converted to despair... assuming they are new players of course. =)
DING DING DING
I'm surprised at how little SWOLEDS are able to be produced. Chip shortage is real!
Nintendo Switch OLED on 3rd place?... Hm, Japan have some problems with consoles supply, I suppose...?
I don't like to see that chart this week.
I would like to pick some unpopular / niche games instead.
Really interesting to see Fortnite’s Minty Legends to be selling that well in Japan. I heard the game was still popular over there but this is a big confirmation of that.
OLED stock not looking great.
Way to go Mario party super stars! I am so happy for this game. The best Mario party ever!
Still disappointed at the fact they only included 5 boards in this game, while mario kart 8 deluxe and super smash ultimate are the most ambicious entries in their series with tons of content.
@IronMan30
Yeah, it's pretty bad.
Hopefully Nintendo is preparing to ship a ton of OLED models during the launch week of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.
Glad this Mario party is doing well, I love the game too bits and hope for expansions!!
Mario Party Superstars is absolutely BRILLIANT fun, I urge anyone who is not sure to grab it....you will love it!
Super Mario Party Japan sales:
> Week 1: ~126,300
> Week 2: ~65,400
Total: ~ 191,700
Mario Party SuperStars Japan sales:
> Week 1: ~163,300
> Week 2: ~81,400
Total: ~244,700
For once, Minecraft isn’t on the list then
@westman98 that's just natural though as more Nintendo switch consoles have been sold since then meaning more potential day one buyers
@UltimateOtaku91
A larger install base doesn't necessarily mean higher sales.
Mario Party 9 had a much smaller launch than Mario Party 8 on Wii. Similarly, on GCN, each Mario Party had lower launch sales that it's predecessor (4 > 5 > 6 > 7).
The Oled version the third, really? That surprises me.
Can't wait to see how well SMT5 will do there. Thoughts?
Well Microsoft better add new stuff to Minecraft soon, it no longer makes the chart doesn't look good for the small M as Minecraft is really the only product that makes Microsoft money in Japan compare to the big N and middle S.
@Vyacheslav333
OLED is on lottery status.
@the_beaver OLED is on lottery status
@Arawn93 Oh. Sounds really strange, or even weird. At least, for me.
While a company can't make enough consoles to meet demand (for whatever reason, don't over think it) they aren't going to make a successor.
Take that gossipers.
(Granted it doesn't stop them researching one. But selling everything you make is like a paradise scenario for a business.)
PlayStation 5 celebration 🎉 of one year anniversary and 1 million sales.
@fenlix well, remember that MK8DX is including the extra DLC and also the new battle mode, so it's the most ambitious and complete entry but after 3 years of the original release, before it could be considered the most incomplete in some ways
