@MadAussieBloke yeah, definitely. if Nintendo ever made a smartphone, they should probably add in a second half to the phone with buttons that you can slide in and out, instead of putting microscopic buttons on the small edges of the phone.
I kind of regret not preordering it and I'm probably just going to end up snagging it off Amazon or something at some point next year, probably after I finish Mario 3D World.
@BlatantlyHeroic No you're just clearly butthurt. Opinions exist, and this is an open community, he has all the right to say how he feels about a game, and you telling him his comment is "socially unacceptable" is really childish, if anything your comments at him are ridiculous. Let him think whatever he wants and let him say it, otherwise what's the point of having comments on these articles if we're just going to attack someone for not liking the subject at hand? He's not off topic, he's talking about it, that's all that matters. We are one big community and comments like yours discourage open discussion. I don't think that's what we need here.
@Goginho oh my GOSH he bought it himself what is the issue??? just let it be it's just a handheld it's not the cure for cancer. your statement is ridiculous.
Haha a lot of people didn't buy it waiting for the level editor. They think they'd lose money for not making a level editor, but it's quite the opposite.
@OliverAdam You're clearly uneducated on the situation. I could argue a lot of your points, but the only one I want to argue due to keeping relevant to the discussion is that they are not doomed just because the Wii U had a rough start, and I HIGHLY doubt the 3DS is going to tank ever, if anytime soon. There are no signs of it tanking, there are no reasons for it to tank. Not to mention they have plenty to fall back on due to previous successes.
I will admit a few of your points on the Wii U's decisions are correct, they were a bit of a trip on Nintendo's part, but Iwata is right, you have to look past it if you are to progress. I hope that the Wii U will find it's place in the market soon, and if it doesn't, oh well! It's not the end of the world. Maybe they will think next time, and their future console will be done right. Because trust me, there will be a next time. The Gamecube's failures never stopped them, now did they?
Regardless, I love my Wii U, it is absolutely hands down my favorite console right of all time right now. Although favoritism does apply to it on my part, I won't lie, it's also just a brilliant console. The convenience of the Gamepad, man! I cannot stress it enough! I cannot say ONE bad thing about it, personally. It has never given me an issue! At the same time, I do understand this console isn't for everyone, it's VERY apparent. But there are people this console can appeal to, and there is still time to figure out new features and changes to bring in those who aren't appealed by it. I trust Nintendo. I've trusted them all my life, and they've never let me down.
Okay. What is everyone on? This game doesn't look pretty. It looks like a PS2 game. It also looks really generic and like everything else I've already seen before. How did this get a 9/10?
I actually heavily heavily disagree. I think kids would either be enticed by both, and for those who aren't, there'd be a fine and even line between kids who would go for a 3DS, and kids who would go for an iPad.
Then again, this IS an Apple Advocate. He's not going to be right, he's just going to be praising Apple.
Does anyone even check how well the 3DS is selling before making arguments like this? I think their handheld division is going to keep them alive for a good long time!
They're practically saying if Nintendo wants third party developers, they have to start going around and kissing butts for it?
Uh, no, I don't think so. I also don't think this means they've missed the train for third party support. If it ever starts doing well, I'm more than positive 3rd parties will start developing for it again. I think right now, they need to focus on getting good, first party games out, because that's what they're good at, and that's what will get people's attention.
I never liked Bethesda anyways, their games are very cookie-cutter and terribly clumped together.

Re: Nintendo Japan Confirms an End to Wii Production
Rest in peace.
Re: Feature: A Week of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Screens - Issue Nine
@thesilverbrick I think his 64 look would hit the style this game is flowing with, anyways.
Re: Feature: A Week of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Screens - Issue Nine
Is it me or is Fox's Wii U model INCREDIBLY unimpressive?
Re: Feature: A Week of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Screens - Issue Nine
@InternetFurret Yeah, but they're also present in the NSMB games, so he's not wrong.
Re: Nintendo Wants To Close Down This Open-Source Web Version Of Super Mario Bros.
They get defensive over an experimental project, then there's stuff like vNES online...
Eh, it's fair on their part, he might not be profiting, but SMB is still sold by Nintendo to this day. He's giving it away for free, in a sense.
I played it and it was hardly faithful, some physics and collisions were clunky as heck.
Re: Video: You've Got To Be Quick To Catch This Sonic Lost World Footage
I love the music in the last level shown. I wish it would arrive to the US sooner.
Re: Pokémon X & Y Sell Over Four Million Copies Worldwide in Just Two Days
@ikki5 not to mention more people own a PS3 and 360 than a 3DS.
Re: Rayman Legends And Splinter Cell Blacklist Both Sold Less Than Expected, Says Ubisoft
It really is a kick in the butt for making Legends multiplat. I'll be buying it on Amazon when the price goes down to around 40$.
Re: Rumour: Sony Running Campaign To Push Potential Wii U Buyers Towards PS4 And Vita
Of course they're capable of something like this. Their history is riddled with sneaky business tactics like this, I wouldn't be surprised at all.
Re: Ubisoft Updates Financial Targets To Reflect Release Schedule Changes
Good. I might actually preorder it for Wii U now.
Re: Weirdness: Uh-Oh, That Guy Who Likes To Microwave Things Got His Hands On A 2DS
@Goginho oh my GOSH he bought it himself what is the issue??? just let it be it's just a handheld it's not the cure for cancer. your statement is ridiculous.
...he is rather annoying, though.
Re: Two Tribes Confirms Toki Tori 2+ Level Editor Will Not Hatch On Wii U
Haha a lot of people didn't buy it waiting for the level editor. They think they'd lose money for not making a level editor, but it's quite the opposite.
Re: A Decade After Being Bought By Microsoft, Rare Still Wants To Channel The Spirit Of Nintendo
It's... flattering, but good luck to them on that mission impossible.
Re: Ripstone Confirms Plans to Include Sony Systems in Wii U and 3DS Pure Chess Online Multiplayer
They're correct. They're absolutely correct.
I love the heck out of Nifflas, I'm so glad that they're porting Knytt Underground to Wii U. It's a day one purchase.
And I might actually consider purchasing this Chess game now, although I never was big on Chess...
Re: GamePad High Capacity Battery Available Now in Europe
My Nyko battery has connectivity issues too frequently; when this is released in America, I'm definitely snagging one.

Re: James Pond Kickstarter Campaign Has Been Cancelled
They came at the wrong time, personally. There are too many good video game Kickstarters happening at the moment. I gave 80 bucks to Mighty Number 9.
Re: Two Tribes Teases New Title While Describing Toki Tori 2+ Level Editor as "In The Fridge"
They probably will have another sale whenever they decide to throw in the level editor. If they do.
I personally never cared for that sort of stuff, so this is no issue to me. The final game is good enough for me alone.
Re: Nintendo of America Selling Wii Remote Rapid Charging Cradle and Rechargeable Battery Set
I'll buy it whenever they start selling white packs as well. Until then these rechargables will do.
Re: Review: TNT Racers - Nitro Machines Edition (Wii U eShop)
Staple in online multiplayer, and I'll consider it.
Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut Finally Dated for Wii U
yeah of course, it's not like they're OMITTING FEATURES or anything.
I'm debating on preordering it or getting it off of Amazon for cheap in a couple of months. I'm not sure if it's a game I'd enjoy.
Re: Two Tribes Confirms Details of Three Titles in Wii U Classics Range, All Hitting This Year
For the record, Toki Tori 2 was delayed, guys.
I'm exctied for RUSH, I'll probably give EDGE a shot.
Re: Weirdness: Here's a Team Fortress 2 Star Fox Deathmatch Mod
As long as they don't profit off of it, I fail to see the issue.
It looks very clunky and slow. I'm not sure if I would ever try it.
Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Confirmed For Super Smash Bros. On Wii U And 3DS
I'm the only one happy about this, huh?
Re: Batman: Arkham Origins Will Be Cheaper on Wii U
I'll consider it, now. I have a Lost World to deal with this October.

@ClassicSonicFan Wow, I have the same birthday as Sammy. Go figure.
Re: Wii Sports Club Takes The Competition Online With HD Visuals And Wii MotionPlus Support
@Justin83593 I believe this to be them testing the appeal of online play. Purchasing even one sport is a good idea.
Re: Wii Sports Club Takes The Competition Online With HD Visuals And Wii MotionPlus Support
Online play. Yesss, Nintendo. A step in the right direction.
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Wii U)
I don't believe it's a full price release. Isn't it 50$?
Re: Publishers Reveal Sales Figures for Skylanders and Disney Infinity
Getting both for my little brother on Christmas for Wii U, hoping he likes them.
Re: Taxi Journey Will Drive Onto Wii U if Kickstarter Campaign is Successful

Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)
Okay. What is everyone on? This game doesn't look pretty. It looks like a PS2 game. It also looks really generic and like everything else I've already seen before. How did this get a 9/10?
Re: Weirdness: Say Hello to the Cross Plane, a GamePad For Other Systems
ridiculous pricing.

@Hyperstar96 Why? Dude, Renegade Kid is awesome! Have you not played Mutant Mudds?
Re: Image & Form Discuss How SteamWorld Dig Became Such A Success
I'm actually buying this after I finish Dream Team! I'm really glad it's doing well without my money.
