@Strictlystyles Yeah, you’re probably right that would be bad and affect SEGA negativily. But a publishing deal with more games for Xbox and game pass would be could. I just feel like it such a waste to spend 70 billion on Activision.

Would be better if they has bought or partnered up With SEGA in my opinion.

Oh wow, I was such a huge fan of the original game and I played it a lot together with my sister on gamecube. So glad to see that little Alien back. Not so sure that I Will appreciate as much today though.

@imgrowinglegs Yeah it's great for short bursts of intense fun. Or a consecutive period of multiple short bursts...It's really addictive in the "just one more time/level" kind of way

@KitsuneNight I did exactly the same thing. After experiencing the horrible handling I gave up on the game quickly. Wasted money. Whats even worse is that the game was on sale only a week after I bought it on release day

Even if the core is the same I think the presentation can make everything from a minimal difference to a big one. I mean you have the egg but depending on how you cook it...
Same with music. Even though the song itself is what really mathers, a bad production or mastering can make it shrill for example. But I agree, if the song/game/movie is fine to begin with I don't need superficial improvements.

This review was a delight to read, very well-written and funny. I have a habit of buying a bunch of quirky multiplayer games, so there is good chance that this one gets Added to the collection during the first discount.

I bought it (Speedway racing) and it was a misstake. The graphics is very simple and cheap bit worst of all is the car handling which is horrible. Might be the worst racing game a played in a really long time.

I really like this game. Great atmosphere, beautiful and clever. I think it's pronounced like "grease" but ask someone from Spain, as it's the spanish word for grey.

Liked thoes games though, bought a freeloader just to buy 1,2,3 in different versions (songlist differed between regions). DDR Mario was also a thing during the gamecube-era.

@A01 Haven't finished it yet to be honest. But the concept is good. Might be more movie than game though, I'm afraid.

You don't like Forza? It's a great simu-arcade racer if you're into that stuff but most people aren't.

But I agree with you, 2016 was a quiet year, 2015 had more "oomph" all around.
Hoping that 2017 will be a great gaming year and that Switch will be a comeback for Nintendo.

Yeah it's great and Gnomz by tje same studio is a great multiplayer game where up to 8players can battle and try to jump on each others head. Had lots of fun with both!

Please no more Call of Duty. It's already everywhere.

@TruenoGT your probably right. It's a fun game but from the outside it looks like just another platformer with a fresh coat of paint.

@TruenoGT I disagree I haven't had such a good time, as playing co-op in woolly world, in a long time. its lots if fun unlocking new designs, the transformations are fun diversions and the levels have creativity and fun. What it lacks in difficulty it makes up with heart. I truly recommend it!

@Pahvi haha, nice to see someone mention speed Racer! It was my favorite Racer for Wii and a blast in multi-player. A bit on the short side in content I admit but a good game with lots of fun times to be had, especially for a licensed game

Nice! Looks like fun, just my kind of game. Had a lot of fun with Gnomz and this seems to be a game that is easy to control but chaotic so that you want to play just one more time.
