Re: Say Hello To The Nintendo 2DS - A 3DS without 3D

@tchaten
That makes sense. Another question if you would be so kind as to answer, how do you hold your 3DS? I hold it mostly in my fingers, it rests on my middle finger and only touches my palm, for lack of a better term, at the ball of my index finger. My index fingers rest on the bumper triggers and my thumbs sit on the face buttons. Maybe my hand is just smaller, but I don't think that's case.

Re: 3D Gaming is Very Much A Part of Nintendo's Future Plans

This makes perfect sense. A mother could easily fit this into her purse and pull it out for her 7 year old or younger child to play on during long car rides or waits (such as in hospitals). It's what parents already do with their smartphones or tablets, so why not give them a system with more high quality games and that won't break as easily as a smartphone or tablet?

@Knux #7
Except that 3DS are selling and there is no damage to control.

@Spoony_Tech #30
Screen protectors, duh. The 3DS scratches itself whenever you close it. I didn't buy a screen protector and now I have a nice square etched into to my upper screen.

Why would they announce a price cut early on? The sales are bad as it is, announcing the price cut months in advance would make them worse.

The 3DS is already aimed at kids, the 3DS XL towards adults.

Not in the least. The XL has a matte finish and a light color scheme, the 3DS has a metallic finish and a more bold and dark color scheme. The XL is larger and rounded so that it fits into kids' hands easily and it doesn't scratch as easily due to it's matte finish. You have your age groups mixed up.

All right, let's take you up on that. Right now, in five minutes, make a list of all the characters you would put into smash. But you can't just stop at the names add the damage they deal with attacks, I'll give you a list to help.
All regular attacks: standing, up, and crouched
All charged attacks: up, crouched, and to the side
All aerial attacks: free falling, up, down, and behind
All smash attacks: standing, to the side, up, and down
And, finally, how much damage their super smash attack does.
But not only how much damage, also tell us what each smash attack and super smash does and how it works.
Finally, tell us how much damage each character takes from each other and how many units they are knocked backed with different levels of damage.

You may just be messing around to provoke people, but still, you said you could do it, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

I can't argue with that, we are all entitled to our opinions after all.

Fingers crossed that they do.

Your inability to breath may be what's leading you to misread my comment. Get some oxygen to your brain so that it can function properly and reread my comment.
I only asked two questions, both rhetorical, and you answered neither.
I did not say it was innovative, what I said was

Note that I wrote 3D Mario and not just Mario. Obviously we have multiplayer in the 2D Marios, but having 4 people play at once in a 3D Mario? The first time I hear of it.

"I'm disappointed" how about you actually start thinking for at least a minute (I might be asking for the impossible here), all the people who say this? Nintendo is trying something new here, they are adding multiplayer to a 3D Mario.

Do you actually think they could successfully add a 4 person multiplayer to a game like galaxy, and not have it be frustrating? In a game like Galaxy, where each stage requires a bit of roaming, 4 person multiplayer would fall flat on its face.

As we all know, 3D Land had a very linear stage setup that 4 unique players can easily navigate together, which is exactly why Nintendo chose this setup to try out multiplayer.

Reading through these comments almost makes me sick. You people praise Nintendo's innovation and willingness to try new things one minute, then you crucify them for it the next.

I don't argue with that. Several of the games are directly connected. Obvious examples are OoT and Majora's (and TP since it's practically an OoT remake), and Wind Waker through Spirit Tracks. And even though Nintendo threw a timeline together, I doubt the Miyamoto will have it in consideration whenever he makes a Zelda game.

I guess they may not be so bad in everyone's opinion, but I am not a big fan of crude humor or scenes that children (the target audience) would not understand nor appreciate.

Spitting loogies in a spitting hole (for whatever reason there had to be a spitting hole) and talking about someone dying and how to get more enjoyment out of the moment
Beer (alcohol reference), a wolf whistle directed at a lady in a bikini, drinking in a hottub.

The other two consisted of a boring, unoriginal cliche event and a momentary rabid unicorn that may have been disturbing to children.
