Yes, I don't see the point of complaining about what you have if it's what you have, let alone if you got it for free, live with it

These multiple posts are getting crazy, but at least I don't have to refresh. Just something I'll have to*live* with.

It's not like they are obligated to give you prizes anyway. It could just be, "Thank you for taking our survey, you can be satisfied in knowing that your chances for being satisfied in the future have just increased. Have a nice day!" And besides, it's not like you are using your coins for these anyway.
To use a semi-relevant quote, "Children in Africa are starving, be grateful that you at least have food on your plate."

No, they just need to make fine tuned adjustments, add more original moves, they can use certain references to in game events for moves, when capcom used Phoenix Wright he attacks were sneezing, coughing (both references to when you defended him while he was still in college), the "objection" finger, and some other things.

Re: Iwata Expects Wii U to Last a Generation

What's funny is that Rich of Review Tech USA (who is so unbiased I was shocked) has told people many times that Nintendo would have to try to be as powerful let alone less powerful than the current gen. The 360 and PS3 are 6 years old, you would have to find an old computer to get hardware that weak.

Little Mac would be cool as a playable character . It's good to see someone else realizes that Pac-Man only has, if even at all, Assist Trophy potential, just have him snake around the arena with ghost and any contact deals damage, if he eats a big ball, insta-kill, yeah, that would actually work nicely.

Tag team would be interesting, it will give us a chance to show how well rounded we can be with multiple characters, and also this way you could play with more than 4 players, you die and switch out, kinda like what we already have but faster (I do love stamina matches).

Re: Super Smash Bros. Needs A 'Change of Direction'

grimbldoo

The only characters from Namco that I think will be added would be characters from the tales series (I would love to play as Emil or Loyd) because they don't have to copy any move-set from characters existent in any of the SSB games. Arcade characters like Pac-Man would just be a joke. Seriously, what are they going to bring to the table?

It would have looked stretched on the XL . They actually readjusted the game so that it would fit on the 3DS screen, you see more surrounding area on the 3DS than on the DS.

@sillygostly #11
A DS cannot read a 3DS game, to make a game backwards compatible would be more trouble than it's worth. I tried putting a Gameboy game into my DS Light and it couldn't read it.

@luminalace #12
No, the 3DS on has a petting mini-game, 3D (obviously, but they just made some of the background pop), and they refitted the game for the 3DS screen (they didn't just stretch it)

@k8sMum #13
Yup, Natsume's official email says not to play the mini-game more than five times a day and to save every day and reset after you have saved to clear the random memory.

@Kyloctopus #5
I know it works, I own it. But if you play the petting mini game with your animals more than five times a day and/or don't restart your system every time you save (restart only needed when the mini-game is played) then the game will freeze and exit out while you are going through the mountains.

They say that they are looking at the problem. but I doubt they will do anything about it as you can just get the DS version (no difference) and they are coming out with a new game soon anyway.

Re: Miyamoto: Nintendo Focused on Fun, Not Competition

grimbldoo

I agree with Myamoto, there are so many FPS's on the other two consoles and half of them aren't even fun.

@Nick-Clegg #6
Nintendo [is] the king of fun or Nintendo are the king[s] of fun.

Books for sell and in the library are separated by age group, a parent would know if a book is considered to be child friendly of not.

@pixelman #20
Seeing as it's Nintendo, they will probably actively update the system to recognize all of the ways that people are getting around the filters.

@Red_Kinetic #30
I don't see a reason for the Gamepad to run over 30fps (Most third party developers will only put non important info on the pad anyway, so you won't be staring at it constantly)

3-5 hours should be fine, if you are playing over that, you need some new activities and some sunlight.

Re: Zelda Remakes Still Part of Nintendo's Quest

grimbldoo

The OoT remake was just beautiful, the color and the fact that link had an actual nose (don't forgot the bottle wasn't shaped like some weird diamond), so the MM remake would also be amazing, since the 3DS is around the Wii's level, they could make the game even better quality than it was, but then it would lose some of its charm. I would really like an SSB remake though, I hope they think of it.

Re: Miyamoto Talks Down Idea of 3DS Redesign

grimbldoo

If they redesign the 3DS, then they better give it more powerful hardware, a second slider pas, and have the game memory save to the system instead of the chip, you can keep the chip, but limiting the game memory to the chip itself has been outdated for a while.

Re: Reggie: Friend Codes Return on Wii U, But They're Better

grimbldoo

I am in aw of the sheer [insert insult] of the people here. You can still seek help online without a friend code, you can still communicate without a friend code, you just can't be friends without another having yours. And it's more than likely that you will not need to manually enter the friend code, just send a request, and if it's accepted, done. This get's rid of the frustration of someone else using the same username as you as well, so stop complaining. God! Common sense is so rare these days!

Re: Wii U Power Lacks a 'Generational Leap'

grimbldoo

Since Nintendo's main games and all the games I tend to play are cartoon/anime oriented, amazing graphics won't be a problem as those games don't need to accent the dimples of a man's face is a depressing and gritty FPS, God, I hate the gritty realism of modern games, games were made to escape reality, not put you into a different one.

Re: Talking Point: The Good and Bad Sides of Moderating Miiverse

grimbldoo

@Deeda #33
Thank you. It just seems like the most logical way to go especially since the majority of people playing E games are children. The majority of games that I play the most are rated T and those tend to be the ones that I seek help for, and I personally would prefer not to have profanity in the boards I navigate. You have to be 18 for M games, so they should be allowed to throw around all the language they want, if a parent decides to let their child be exposed to that, that is their responsibility and no complaints should be made by people not old enough to even play the game.

Something I just though of, they should add the ability to make accounts on the system so that one person's gaming experience isn't ruined by parental locks, if they did add the account's then they don't have to have the option of entering a code to bypass the locks, just in case the child figures out the code.

Re: Talking Point: The Good and Bad Sides of Moderating Miiverse

grimbldoo

Here is my suggestion to moderating games, separate them according to their rating.
Rated M games should receive only the smallest amount of moderation, i.e. Do not filter bad words or offensive language but have a report option if people start to get out of control and the moderators can do occasional sweeps.
For rated T games have moderate (lol) moderation, such as periodic sweeps by the moderators and filter out bad language and even delete posts automatically that have too much bad language.
All rated E games will receive the most moderation, these ones can have the delay needed for the posts to be checked (you probably won't be seeking much help anyway) and any post with bad language is automatically deleted, of course all of these sections have the report function as well.
Then they can make a free discussion area separated like this as well, of course parental locks will keep kids from wondering where they shouldn't be.

@KodyWB-98 #6
It seems that Nintendo created the 3DS in order to bring back all of the games on the 64 and GC that we loved but now we can take anywhere with us. And since they were on the GC or 64, we won't think too much about the graphics.

Re: Peter Molyneux 'Not Really Decided' on Wii U GamePad

grimbldoo

Since the bottom screen will be most of the time holding info that you wouldn't even check anyway, I don't think you are going to have a problem. This would work perfect for Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, just look down and touch the screen to change your settings since you can't pause.
