@Valdney I own a digital copy of Hollow Knight. Unless I lose my console I can always play the game. How would you lose a digital license of a game? Do they expire or something?

@proof21 I really like the idea of random battles, so that didn’t bother me, but Octopath was just boring. It was very, very pretty to look at, but I ended up returning mine after only an hour or so.

@Mr_Pepperami You’re right, and they have re-released a lot of their classics already. The problem is that their ports were not well-received at all. Simply releasing older games isn’t enough; it needs to be done well!

@sleepinglion God, I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. I played it to the first boss in the Scholars campaign and then I couldn’t pick it up again. I almost felt guilty for returning it, but it’s not my fault that it’s a boring, yet pretty, game.

@AirElephant Thank goodness, too. The arcade ports, in particular, are great because those were not easily accessible at one point in time. The Switch has given a lot of old titles second life, and I’m grateful they are continuing to port excellent games such as Machinarium.

@nintendobynature honestly, I got a good one on eBay for under $200, including shipping. I’ve been using it for VC and I’ve been having a blast with Super Mario Maker. I don’t know if that’s considered top dollar to you, but for me it’s totally worth it to have a mini VC next to my bed!

As long as the VC stays up I don’t care. I still have things on my wishlist! Stay up a little longer please!

Unless the movie has a minimum of 6 hours grinding for materials and skins for end-game armor, I will scoff at it's authenticity and give it a hard pass. 10 hour minimum movie time, or it's not following the source material.

@vitelus It's a list of things they did. "First, we made these hideous designs. Second, we finished them in mineral oil. Finally, we made a positive locking system." Not my first word choice, but there you go. They probably mean "positive locking system," as in they figured out how to make one that worked for the system, maybe on their own and without Nintendo's help.

I'm 37 and I feel like I'm in my prime! It's fun knowing Mario 3 has been around since I was a wee one! I remember my excitement during the movie, The Wizard, when they first showed the game! Ah, good times!

Are they planning on making jumbo sized joy cons? I love the Switch, but the buttons while playing in handheld mode are way too small for my hands, and I don’t even have giant hands! Really my only gripe with the system, to be honest. Nintendo nailed it, otherwise. I highly recommend the Go Play combo case and grip, as well as the Hori D Pad left Joy Con. The Zelda version looks great and the D Pad feels soooooo good!
