I know this is a nintendo-focused website, but I'm hoping the PS5 release doesn't have performance issues. I suppose controls will be the same however.

extremely disappointing considering their previous showcase featured Seven Pirates H (great) and Wife Quest (good). This new batch looks like absolute garbage.

I am still waiting on two DLC codes from them. Nothing major compared to those who bought collector editions of course.

@Ellie-Moo I'm sure you're done with the game by now, but if anyone else is wondering, no, not at all. it just saves you some grind to get the later upgrades. I don't think it makes the game any easier.

Man Bloodstained was so good. I never really cared for all the extra goals they reached, so I'm hoping the sequel is in active development alongside all that extra content.

This is an amazing compilation. Here's hoping for Atlus USA, but they don't seem to care about smaller games anymore. Hopefully some other niche publisher picks it up for a western release.

I think this game was made in Quebec (Canada), I too would have liked a different physical publisher because 1PG basically takes 1.5 - 2 years. But congrats to the team regardless! Indie games getting physical releases is always a joy to witness.

I suppose HEVC is still somewhat bleeding edge and few players support it outside of VLC?

Didn't read the review but did it mention anything about base building? One of the Wii games had you build, furnish and rent out entire apartment buildings!

Great roundup! I have a few of the "toys", here's my opinion on them:

• Piranha Plant: It's a nice conversation piece. Not so fun as a game.
• Air Hockey: Great! Pretty small, which is both a pro and con. We ended up removing the middle strips and the "goals" because they just got in the way.
• Monopoly celebration: Overall great, bit more fun than the Mario Kart one, but it's monopoly in the end!
• Jakks Peach castle: It's nice but pricey. The flag is dumb and barely stands.
• Uno: I have both the standard and mario kart editions. Beautiful artwork. We mostly use them for memory game!
• Game of Life: A real winner!!! Beautiful game board.
• Labyrinth: This one's a real gem. I'd never played Labyrinth before so this was my introduction. Thankful for the "kids mode"!
• Checkers & Tic Tac toe: Exactly as it says! It's kind of a really big box for what it is.
• Walkie Talkies: Garbage! Avoid!!! Horrible sound quality and range.
• Hot Wheels Mario Kart: Bought at Costco and I wish I'd return it when I still could. It's huge, which is a con for me, but worse is that the karts barely stay on the track, they barely make it past the first bend. We tend to start the carts at the motorized boost and then we can get a few laps out of them. LAME!
• Shaky Tower (and the other Epoch balance games): Kind of lame overall. Not much fun to be had.
• Top Trumps: Amazing! Lots of fun! But the setup phase can be a bit lengthy as you have to ensure unique rows, etc.
• Jenga: Playing it is a real thrill but again, the setup is a total drag.

This 7/10 reads like a 5/10 at best! Surprising score. I'm a sucker for shmups so I'm grabbing this physically but I hope all, if any, patches will be on disc because this sure sounds rushed (despite delays)

I remember playing the first one a long-ass time ago, on PS3. Bayo 2 I barely touched. Do both of them come with an easy mode just to go through the storyline? Don't say youtube.

Thank god motion controls are optional. I know most people associate NMH with that sword charge motion, but I'm here for the batshit insane plot. Hell I'd take an auto-combat mode like Nier 1.5!
