On top of DK and Pauline obviously missing costumes compared to everyone else, it seems evident that they were gonna have some DLC regarding Bananza at some point. The Mario 64 PC decompilation would have been given a C&D a long time ago if they could, but they can't. They're only going after pre-packaged download, hence why you need the room to do it

There's even ways to do it legally. Apparently the VC downloads on Wii U, if you put it in an SD card, you can access the rom this way. Or something like the Joey N64 where you can dump it yourself, if you wished

Because it comes with 0 of the assets and it grabs the assets from the rom, hence why the project is able to stay up without being shut down

As to why is this useful. We now have complete access to code, and it isn't restricted by the N64 system limitations and knowledge of the platform, so anything is possible and anyone with any coding knowledge can do whatever they want with it, which will lead to much bigger and better changes than just hacking the rom

It's a beginning, but it's basically, once again "Why wasn't this out like years ago?", it's always too late. Same with the Badge Arcade, released just a tad late. The main issue is that this is pretty lame for something that came out this late. These ideas should've been there from close to the beginning and the idea should've evolved or have way more stuff (+3rd party stuff) by now

I'll add that this is pretty lame because it's just borders and random transparent official art that goes through a program to paste it into a picture and set it as a profile picture. This is incredibly basic

They were given Yoshi's Island, as is, to make for DS. And the game's OST got massacred, additions don't fit, missing effects from the snes ver, lame gimmicks and some of the worst level design I've experienced, every single bit of it was painful to behold

They turned a 10/10 to a 3/10. Truly amazing

That's nice and all, but if nobody has access to it, is it really preserved? While they probably have their proper backups (At least, I hope so), have a proper disaster and the wrong people dies and the data might be unrecoverable if no contingency plan

Foreman Spike? All the Wario Ware characters, all the Donkey Kong characters and probably many more I'm forgetting, there's probably a billion forms of Mario they could pull into this too like they did with Odyssey

This is a terrible deal all around. The Pokemon porting most likely wouldn't have happened if there wasn't any paid DLC. They're only done this to justify the paid DLC that should've already been in the game

So basically now, pay for your post game content instead of it being included! Keep in mind that this release, that basically look like a souped up 3DS game, is more expensive than the previous release...

They're not going to get out of the direct looking like winners that's for sure and that'll probably start a new wave of people being angry at them

Not offering an optional D-Pad is a mistake

One of the problem with the standalone joycon is that the joystick is just not good for some games (Puyo Puyo Tetris being one)

I don't believe we'll get a "Pro" version. Too many hurdles. If devs want to make games compatible with both, they'll have to test 3-4 modes? Yeah...

A Switch 2 that's fully backward compatible is the most likely scenario. More power so that it could still get PS5/X downports and enough power to get comparable PS4/One ports or something, and enough power to finally be full VR

The Switch seems perfect to just slide in a VR helmet really, so are the controllers, so a full VR enabled Switch 2 would make the upgrade totally worth it

Either way, too early. I expect it 2021 or 2022

False. Actually the game was not euro 50hz optimized and would run normally on a NA/JP Snes

However, the game has a special lock-out chip or something, in which, to make it work on a NA Snes you have to use very specific rare devices. Some will make it work, but won't save. One device that make it work and save is the Pro Action Replay MK III. There's another one IIRC

With Seiken Densetsu 3 and Monster World IV, they're actually the original ROM. SK3 was confirmed to work on a real Snes too. That's the difference

Quite frankly Game Freak long had it coming, the complacency is off the chart, and quite frankly, insulting. A company that thought they could get away with this much for too long

• Pokemon home pretty much being pointless due to not being able bring over all your mons
• I've been against the latest high end graphics for years. However this entry is just embarrassing, full of glitches, looks unfinished and an emulator upscaled Sun/Moon looks better than this. What the hell?
• No background in battles when even let's go did it
• Game Freak's terrible comment about EXP Share
• Mass reusing assets and animations

Really, just voting with your wallet is not enough nowadays when big corps can just ignore the hell out of you because everyone else is still gonna buy it anyways and continue the cycle of complencency because they could get away with it. This is why the outcry is so big about stuff lately, there's just really no other ways than outright humiliate the company, and Game Freak has been rightfully thoroughly humiliated in the past few months
