I also was sent the survey by Nintendo, but mine was asking if I would pay $59.99.

I wonder if in the future they'll add the capability to easily choose which eShop you'd like to peruse so people don't have to do this.

Full collection here. I used to have to worry about lines when the stores would open for the day and have to go from store to store, but now I seem to be the only one getting them the day they come out. Much less stressful.

I am shocked to discover, after all these years, that there is more than one Pikachu. I'm obviously not a big pokemon fan, but always liked Pikachu, and am very disconcerted at this revelation.

I'll try to get the amiibo figures if they're sold separately; I have the final pieces of my complete amiibo collection on the way now. But I'll pass if they're only sold with the game. I can't afford for my kids to be taking my amiibo dollars to use on Skylanders figures.

I thought this would be reported, but I have not seen it anywhere - They are doing live demos of Triforce Heroes at the Best Buy Super Mario Maker demo events. We went last night and it was a total surprise; everyone in line got the chance to play many times. The swag they are giving out at the demo event is also pretty cool - puzzles, sticker books, sketch pads, posters, etc. Lots of fun. I still need to pull the 3DSes out of the backpack and see how many Streetpasses we got

I still dream of and am convinced the best way to go for the next handheld is to make basically a more powerful and capacitive screen DS that is sleek and has a small screen on the outside so you can see your incoming calls. It needs to be an unlocked phone, so I can ditch the extra device in my pocket. If I could just make calls and text with my 3DS I wouldn't have my phone.

@AshFoxX I find it interesting that people are saying this about the pricing for 3D Land and New Mario 2, considering 3D Land is a 2011 game and New Mario 2 is 2012. Not that I disagree, but it's just interesting that this has come to be the common perception of these titles' values.

This is a little frustrating - I just got 3D Land and New Mario 2 and New Leaf from Target. They had a 'buy two, get one free' promo on all video games. So I paid $80 ($40 each for the Marios) and got New Leaf ($35) for free. I still ended up with a good deal ($26.67 each, averaged), but I always fear a better deal will come along after I buy games.

I notice there is also a single gold-plated glove to be had for $10,000!

To me, the biggest bit from that is the mergers & acquisitions question. They would never merge with someone (I don't think), but what companies would they be interested in acquiring?

@onespicyasian I also saw the Zelda Wii U bundle at Target a good week before its street date. And from my experience, the Walmart "associates" don't know AND don't care - they kinda do what they're supposed to do, sometimes. If they know what to do at all.

we all know and love the experimentation with zelda, but i was wondering the other day if they would have the balls to make a more realistic-looking mario game........

I want them to come out w/ an external hard drive already! I need to get one, but I don't want to get a 3rd party, and then the next year Nintendo releases a wonderful looking OEM version.........

I also have a daughter named Zelda. It kind of makes me laugh when I see people talk about how big of Zelda fans they are........ did you name your kid after it? No? Haha! I am officially a bigger nerd!
