Re: Dedicated Handheld Systems Are Still A Key Business Driver For Nintendo

andybunn

i hate all this dissing of the 3ds. its a great handheld console and i love it. i play it more than anything else. i know it will be replaced by the switch or something else in time but as its still selling well then that shows its still a relevent console.

i dont beleive that nintendo is properly supporting the 3ds/2ds and is happy to to take peoples money. i.e. the upturn of wiiu sales a few months before the release of the switch.

the proof lies in the fact that the 3ds et al were not mentioned at all at E3.

Re: Guide: The Top Nintendo Black Friday 2016 Deals in the UK

andybunn

@Sakura i used to work in retail and before a sale stock prices would go up for a week then drop down to the normal price and be advertised as being on sale. this is legal.

also the company i worked for bought in low quality stock that is only used as sale items which sit in warehouses year round just for the purpose of sale stock. this to is legal.

the only winners in sales are the companies not the consumers.

Re: Feature: Catch Up With the Animal Crossing Direct and New Leaf's Fresh Features

andybunn

thank you nintendo.

yesterday i was a little annoyed about the poor state of my nintendo and the poor 'rewards' on offer.

then today animal crossing fans get an upgrade to new leaf and its not rubbish. so thank you nintendo.

i guess this is away of getting more people to buy the amiibo and the cards. i have never been interested in buying amiibo or the cards and the happy home designer game never interested me. but now i might buy some cards and related amiibo. so weldone nintendo.

maybe nintendo will do similar upgrades for amiibo in other games. mario kart 7 would be a good start. each amiibo figure could be raceable witb thier own car?

thanks

Re: Nintendo Won't Be Making Any Game or Spec Related Switch Announcements Until 2017

andybunn

@Piersen hi a good console and a good line up of games go hand in hand. 3rd partys developers shyed away from the wiiu because they didnt believe in it or know how to make games for it.

the switch is more traditional and most 3rd party developers will welcome this and i think that switch will have good support.

if i see an advert every five minutes or hear the same song every 10minutes i get bored and become uninterested. maybe nintendo dont want to bash us over the head with switch. also christmas is coming and nintendo want people to buy their existing product.

every one chill out its not rocket science its business

Re: Talking Point: The Problems With My Nintendo So Far, and Why All's Not Lost

andybunn

your talking point is rubbish. my nintendo is nit a reward scheme but another store front for nintendo.

why should we have to wait until the nx release to get a decent reward system.

if nintendo couldnt be bothered now why do you think they will then. oh maybe they will give massvie price drops then to secure a good release sale for the nx. so its win win for nintendo ish ish for ling term nintendo customers and brilliant for new customers.

this sucks. i just wish nintendo could be honest. they dont want to give us rewards for buying the games. the game is the thing.

i just wish this whole rewards scheme would end as its pointless (PUN PUN)

Re: Poll: Six Months On - How Do You Feel About My Nintendo?

andybunn

every comment here is right exxept i wouldnt hold my breath in hope of improvement when the nx arrives.

id rather that nintendo stopped doing this kinda reward programme and just be honest with its xustomers. these discounts of a few pounds/dollars off are an insult. other companies on the eshop give far better discounts than nintendo.

we were promised free games. so far we've had two and one of those is ancient.

this reward service is far from rewarding. nothing for buying physical copies because nintendo wants to phase them out. its much cheeper to just have digital games released.

and of cause no physical rewards like funky laces and console pouches is better for nintendo as producing these costs them money.

come on nintendo dont fool with me. you dont want to reward me for buying your wares just create the idea that you do with poor discounts on games i allready have and not t shirts for me but a digital me.

nintendo these are not rewards and i dont want them.

Re: Hands On: Getting Pinned Down By Nintendo Badge Arcade

andybunn

Polarbear is right

This so called game us an abomination to the gaming world. We should be able to customise our 3ds 2ds etc with out having to pay for it and play poopitypoopoop like this.

It'd just totally boring not entertaining and annoying.

Please boycott this game and spend your money on worthwhile games.

Re: Poll: Is Splatoon a Blockbuster That'll Help Revive the Wii U?

andybunn

I don't really understand why the wii u has not been as successful as the wii maybe that in isself is the problem and 3rd party developers not supporting the wiiu because its easier to churn out the same games on other less inative consoles thus keeping costs down and profit high. Just a guess.

but the real point I want to make is how many times has it been said that will this new zelda mario mario kart smash etc game will revive the wii u. Its dead unfortunately. even Nintendo see that by announcing a new console is been developed.

How many times can you flog a dead horse.

mean while the 3ds family is doing welll but is being neglected by Nintendo whilst they have tryed to save the wii u with virtual console stuff etc.

Re: Head Teachers in the UK Issue Warning to Parents on 18-Rated Games Being Played by Children

andybunn

I haven't read all of the comments on this because there are so many. I apologise if I'm repeating others.

I feel the best way to address the issue of children playing inappropriate games could be achieved in two ways.

1 change legislation making it illegal to sell a video game rated for adults to a parent if suspected it is for a child. I know that this is not fool proof. Publishers and retailer's not be allowed to advertise adult games in childrens media and sell related mercandise In toy shops etc. I have seen terminator and halo toys in toys r us. Games for adults could be shelved in shops in an adult only section. Thi s will give unaware people buying games for children a clear guide to whats not appropriate.

2 buying games via the Internet. This is harder to regulate and relies on parent responsibility. My son likes lego and wanted to join the lego club online. To do this I had to give my email address and lego then contacted me directly to ensure that I was who I said I Was and give permission for my son to use the site and gave me lots of info on parental settings to keep children safe on the internet. Lots more companies should do this.

I think that the police and crown prosecution service should take offenders to court and the consequences be high to deter offences in the first place. How this is done I havent the legal background to say however the safety of children from material designed for adults should be paramount.
This is not an anti freedom of speach issue or that when i was a kid i saw adult things and it didnt hurt me. we have childrens categorys and adult categories for a reason and its not just a moral one. check out information on child and adult development and understanding .

Finally children shoud be allowed to be children theres plenty of time to be spent in the adult world later.

Thanks

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st January (Europe)

andybunn

@JaxonH I don't hate wii u owners I don't like the fact that all the gba games are only released on wii u.
I have the ambassador games and they work perfectly fine uf not better than on an actual gba.
I wish that nintendo would share and they might make a bit of money as well.
Im not out to spite anyone and I dont tjink that no one should beable to own gba games if I can't. They should be available to all.
