I recall hearing Super Metroid also got this treatment and was available to play on a showfloor in early days of the 3DS, but for whatever reason was never released.
Might've been false as the eventual snes releases ended up being n3ds exclusive, but it would have been nice.

Man, it was hype all around for the multiplayer when this game launched. This was the first Metroid game that I didn't finish the campaign for, but I built up a nice profile record online.

Am I the only one that upgraded just because its the best version of the handheld yet? I don't even own any of the >New< only games ¯_(ツ)_/¯ The eye-tracking 3D and improved speakers were enough for me to upgrade day1 since I game on the 3DS a lot.

Even bought one for my pops now that the "Super-stable 3D" eye-tracking lets people with glasses finally enjoy the 3D hassle-free.

I still have this boxed (NA) from when TriForce Heroes launched :x Couldn't decide if I wanted to replace my black n3dsxl, but now I'm eyeing that Fire Emblem n3dsxl o,o

Game&Wario, people. That and Sweet Day in Nintendoland have given me some priceless memories with family at gatherings.

Moved my couch just in front of my 60" for this game so I haven't had any problems. As mentioned in the article though, reading text in Witcher3 was killer for my eyes.

Been following it since announce. This game is gonna be wicked, and after just finishing Axiom Verge, I can't wait to get my hands on more metroid-like goodness. Theres some other really great footage on his youtube channel.

Sweet, I've wanted this since everyone was all about Miis back with the CheckMiiOut channel and all that other stuff on the Wii. I'll probably be buying some stuff for the heck of it on there, but would love if it carried over to my Mii across platforms like in the WaraWara plaza or the profile select screen when loading up the U.

@I-U never finished MPHT's campaign, but that multiplayer was amazing. Got really high in rankings online as Trace, and I was in middle school at the time of its release and about 6 of us bought the game and played every chance we had at school, those are some good memories

Favorite game to this day. I was real young when I completed it, I wanna say 3 or 4 hahaha I have my old man to thank for that opportunity.

@BigBabyPeach I think when people mention super metroid 3d they mean a 3D classics remaster like with the NES Kirby on the 3DS. (at least that's what I think, and I'd realllly want that--it also shouldn't be that hard to implement)

@wazlon Its been out on other platforms for a long time with near perfect reviews from everyone, and Simogo chose to make the definitive version hand tailored to our console.

I'm saying it now, shame on anyone who spoils this for themselves with lets plays or whatever. I gave in and bought it on PC a few months back when it was still just rumored for WiiU, and I really wish I had held out a bit longer or forgotten about it, but I can't wait to buy it again. A lovely, creepy...mysterious game.
