Why is it that you always use that same picture of Paper Mario with his hammer for articles about maintenance? Why not change it up sometime, like maybe a picture of Mutoh and the carpenters working in Ocarina of Time?

Still hoping for a Super Mario Galaxy 3 announcement. I hope I'm not disappointed for the third year in a row...

@blackice85 Thanks for that information. A lot of my SNES games have had their save files randomly disappear before (only one at a time though), so I may want to replace some of their batteries.

Link did end up appearing with Yoshi after all. In Donkey Kong Country 2, if you fail to place in Cranky's "Video Game Heroes" competition; you can see that Link got third and a Yoshi got second.

I don't think I'd ever buy a Mii Costume, but that Geno one is really cool.

@Rockmin Thanks for pointing that out to me. I'd never heard of those before.

@Yosher I don't think it's obsolete, but BASIC isn't really used by anyone anymore. If you want to learn programming I would suggest Python or Javascript as your first language.

Wow... I didn't realize that the only game I've played from this year is Splatoon. Most of the time when me Wii U is on it's for 2014 games or Virtual Console.

$45 for Donkey Kong Jenga! I got it two years ago for only $15!

@rjejr I just got that puzzle a few days ago! I haven't been able to do it yet though; my family is using the big table for a Christmas puzzle.

I'm really excited for the My Nintendo account! I've been a devoted Nintendo gamer since my first video game (Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt); and I got a lot of amazing games on the Virtual Console for free from Club Nintendo. I know I'll definitely be buying a lot of games next year: Zelda Wii U, Star Fox Zero, and whatever I didn't get this year (Xenoblade Chronicles X and maybe Mario Maker; I'll see at Christmas).

I know almost nothing about pokemon, and I'm yet to play any of the games. However, I really love the starters for Gen 4, probably the coolest evolutions since the original Kantos starters.

"Fallout 4 may have enough bugs to fill a Starship Troopers movie," funny sentences like that are why I always read your articles @ThomasBW84 . (Now if I could just apply that to the articles on my own website...)

Where's the Wii U VC? I'm too busy with Earthbound to really care, but it's a bad sign nonetheless.

This course looks really fun! The jumping skills I gained in Octo Valley should come in handy.

I haven't used the Amiibo Tap thing on the Wii U at all, but they could probably use those small sections of games during loading.

I wish I had $150, considering the work that was put into it, that's not a bad price.

I was really hoping Earthbound would be on there. I already have all the stuff on that list I want (DKC: Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3, Wind Waker HD, Metroid Fusion, and Kirby's Return to Dreamland).

I wish Nintendo would release the badge arcade on Wii U, I don't have a 3DS, and my Wii U menu screen could use some decoration.

Pikmin 3 got 12th?! That' my favorite Wii U game and what turned me into a Pikmin fan.

Well, I've never played a single Final Fantasy game so I have no idea who this guy is. The good part of that is I can save my money if my Smash Ballot Vote (K. Rool) get's included as DLC.

Playing Super Metroid on Halloween sounds like a great idea! Hmm... I guess I should finally finish my electric guitar cover of Big Boss Confrontation (AKA, that super awesome song that plays when you fight Draygon and Ridley).

@Ogbert I don't know about the video (didn't watch it), but I would say the Mario games have a timeline, just a simple one. Everything non-Yoshi related probably happens after the previous game. (Hmmm... as I'm typing this I remember the Paper Jam trailers...)

@Aozz You really should. The SNES is my favorite video game system, and the only retro system currently in my possession. If you need any reasons, how about Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country trilogy, Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario RPG, and the Super Gameboy.

Good for him! I don't often get to watch Nintendo Life videos because I'm too busy with my own Nintendo website and YouTube channel, but I've really liked the ones I've watched. I was even in one a few weeks ago where Alex commented on my lack of video-worthy smash skill until I punched him in the face.

That's easy, Super Mario Galaxy is the greatest video game ever created.

Everyone's talking about how great the multiplayer is, but I've only ever played it solo. I probably beat Master Hand 30 times. I remember cursing Metal Mario for being so hard to launch.

Samus has been my main since Melee, but I agree she just doesn't seem as good in this game. Though I'm glad that Robin and Little Mac were buffed, since they're some of my other mains.

Can 2 people compete in a tourney on the same Wii U?

If I have time, I'll participate in all of them. Sounds like a great new feature!

@Hero-of-WiiU I'm not sure if I understand your question. Do you mean that you're writing your own compositions, or you're trying to cover existing songs? For creating and editing MIDI files, I've been using a program called Aria Maestosa. For recording songs, I use the Garageband application that came with my laptop. I record using either a USB microphone or a device called an M-Audio M-Track into which I can plug my keyboard and electric guitars to connect them to my computer. If you describe exactly what you're trying to do I can give you more help.

I already have a good keyboard which I often use to cover video game music, so I think I'm good.

I wish that was happening in North America. I probably wouldn't win, but it would still be fun, and if I did win I have plenty of games I could buy on the eShop with free money.

@Olmectron I'm also hoping they'll eventually release Return to Dream Land; though at this point I'm just hoping for any good Wii games.

@shigulicious I've wanted that one since it came out. Is it as amazing as it sounds? Maybe I'm just cheap; but I'm still hoping for a North American download.

Seriously though, Super Mario Maker looks pretty good, but I'm not as excited as him. I'm not really much of a level design guy, but modern Mario games are too easy, so I might get it just to challenge myself.

I really loved all the Kamp Krusty jokes. Nice touch!
