Tomodachi Life is now just days from release, with Nintendo keen to communicate its charms to as many 3DS owners as possible. Nintendo of America will be doing this with a live Google Hangout to chat about the title on launch day, 6th June, rather conveniently at a time that should suit gamers in Europe, too.
It'll be a live video over on Google Hangout, with five gamers sitting around and chatting about the game. These will be as follows:
HOST: Krysta Yang, Assistant PR Manager at Nintendo of America
Jose Otero, Associate Editor at IGN
Kristina Horner, video blogger
NintendoFanGirl (Sam), video blogger
Colin, co-founder and Editor-in-Chief, Gamnesia
This will happen at 10am Pacific time / 1pm Eastern / 6pm UK / 7pm CET. Will you be tuning in at the official page?

Sounds good. Forgot that it's almost release time!
I'm considering buying this for my friend's daughter. Any other 3DS games recommendation? No heavy RPG or too complicated gameplay for a casual. She's 7 and have Mario 3D Land, AC New Leaf, and Cooking Mama something.
Anyway I'll watch this since Jose Otero is in it.
I'm going to check this out for sure. It is such a weird game xD Will be fun to hear some info about it from the creators.
I saw Nintendo's channel list it as an upcoming stream a few days ago, and I was like "Whaaaaat is thiiiiis thiiiiiing?".
@outburst Maybe Kirby Triple Deluxe. That's a really fun game for all ages, although some of the bosses are quite tricky.
So this releases in two days and still no reviews? Does not give me any confidence.
@outburst Bust-a-Move Universe, Tetris(Any), Pokemon Battle Trozei, Mario and Donkey Kong Minis on the Move, Pushmo? All I can think of are puzzlers at the moment. Their all simple but increase in difficulty. She may be 7 but I bet she'll adapt well, puzzles are good for development.
@outburst
How about Disney Magical World?

@sinalefa Sometimes they release the review on release day.
Thank you. I have'nt used Hangout since 'Sessler' left.
Tomodachi Life!
@TruenoGT They could done an import review (By somebody who understands Japanese) kept them playing it and then done a proper review then.

I just hope it is not a case of "game will not impress reviewers, so if people see average scores before release date they will cancel preorders, thus embargo lasts until release date".
But tbh, Nintendo Life's series of shorts give me enough quirkiness so I don't think I will get the game.
Excellent !!! You bet me, my husband and are two children are going to watch Nintendo make us feel really welcome with our 'normal' life ! Sweet!
Yes! My two favorite companies working together!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I think I will go with Disney Magical World and maybe Kirby. As for the mini games and puzzlers, are they available on cartridges? I don't think they'll link their 3ds on a NNID and plan to buy in the eshop. I need to buy her a gift or 2 since she gave me all her Nintendo Club Codes from her 3DS and Wii games when I asked for it.
@outburst My niece likes Mario Kart 7, it is a simple car game.
@outburst Tetris Axis and Bust-a-move universe is available on cartridge. Some of the others I listed, the codes can be bought on retail. As far as I know, you don't have to connect your NNID to the eshop unless they've changed it lately.
