I can has Wallace and Gromit, plz. Or maybe bite sized chunks of Sam and Max, since it could spread the word about the games and get more people interested.
I enjoyed this game, but I honestly thought it was due to get a six out of ten. I haven't played it for too long though, so maybe I'll "get it" shortly.
I assume that Prosody / James Newton shops at Morrisons, then? If so, could you tell me if the games are cheap as well? I remember the sale they did last Summer where all DS games were a mere £12 (rather than £30), and I saved £28 on Guitar Hero On Tour (which I then traded in at Game for seven pounds above what I paid ). I believe that they also had all Wii games at £15, but they didn't have anything that I wanted but hadn't got yet.
So, yeah: if they're selling games cheap as well, let us know, will you James?
I'll be getting Bubble Bobble Plus and Equilibrio (here's hoping they're not too difficult ). I'm confused over the absence of New Adventure Island and Bit.Trip BEAT though. It seems ages since we got a Huson game now, and you guys have had Bit.Trip for a good few weeks. At least we know what to expect next time though, eh (cough, you hearing this Nintendo?, cough).
Really looking forward to giving this a go, but I hope that the characters aren't too big, because they look to take up half of the screen in the images above!
Early this summer? Oh, poo. When I saw that they'd put out a press release, the first thing I thought of was that the game might be released in Europe tomorrow. Ah well...
@Shimigami Tidus: Meat Boy isn't even due til around Q4, anyway.
As for the list it's great to see that we're getting LIT, Bonsai Barber, Cave Story, Water Warfare and Swords and Soldiers, but some glaring omissions and the lack of first party content is alarming. At least we can mark some of the missing games (New Adventure Island, Bubble Bobble) as mistakes, but two games that I'm disappointed about not being mentioned are Eduardo the Samurai Toaster and Bit.Trip BEAT. As for DSiWare, we'd better (and probably will) get more than that (only one Art Style game? Pfft...). If we don't get Pop Plus Solo, for example, I won't be a happy bunny.
Still, there will probably be a few late submissions that Nintendo will shoehorn in every now and then, but we can only wait and see.
@Corbie: I'll tell you what you have - too much money, that's what.
I myself hate the PSP. I can't get my head around the controls (they feel so odd), and there are hardly any games I'd want. I much prefer the DS though due to the innovative controls, and the way that the multimedia functions (eg, DSiSound) are actually a load of fun, as well as doing what they're supposed to. Nintendo FTW, IMO!
Well done, Ricardo91, Toddr and lockelocke - you've just guaranteed that the best of the comment-ers will NEVER return at all. Good memory, though.
Anyways, I must say that I completely forgot about this, but when it's released, I'll be sure to give it a shot. Whatever happened to Robot Wars, anyway?
Finally, some details! And this sounds pretty good, especially so for DSiWare. I also like the look of the pitch from the screen - very nice and bright, and I think the camera angles look pretty nice as well. Can't wait to give this a go - no doubt it'll be a premium title, but it could be pretty damned expensive (in comparison to current pricing for games, at least).
People who buy bootlegs and R4 carts are ruining gaming. If you can't afford the games - rent them instead, rather than doing what is effectively stealing.
@Toddr: slaps self My mistake - I don't know where I got those extra 200 points from xD At least I'm a lot happier now - all I have to do is buy a 1000 point card, since I forgot that we get 1000 free as well
Not again! I doubt this will change many peoples minds about the Wii though - after all, when switched on, it uses around a tenth of what the 360 and PS3 use!
@mrPlow: I believe they call it the ancient art of wizardry - not "magic". And that was featured on all three of the sites before anyway.
@Dazza: Good thinking - if you'd have put the new site up tomorrow, people would've been too busy fretting over the fact that everything's different instead of looking at the new reviews. Will there even be any new games for Australia tomorrow anyway? I'd have thought that games would still get released on the Friday, like the rest of Europe, but I suppose that it's anyones guess really. Also, your baby is a joke... right?
@Corbie: I did notice it, but I thought I'd better check. Is the retro page the new space for your own Retro Rated 'site, or is it something completely different? Also: the Banjo review is also posted in the Virtual Console section, despite not being out yet on the system. Silly you.
@Chicken Brutus: Don't you work for these guys xD - anyways: try looking here.
Wow - I can't wait to give this a try! I mean, come on - a plant barber? I'm highly anticipating the UK release.
And no, that wasn't all sarcasm.
@Damien Mcfarren: NO! You've always had the same avatar as long as I remember - why did you go and change it?! Let's just hope this doesn't catch on...
@KDR_11k: No they didn't, at one point Bplus were even looking for a price point of 2000 points due to the long length of Plattchen, but it was clear that this would put people off, so Nintendo did the next best thing and let them sell it for 1500 (in Europe at least, don't forget that it only cost 1000 in NA). The developer does have some say in pricing, but in the end, it all comes down to Nintendo's decision.
@KeeperBvK: Okay, so a five out of ten isn't awful, but I still wouldn't say it's all that decent. @Tails.92: At least you apologised. You are forgiven.
Awesome, I can't wait to give this a go so that I can work out for myself what the hell I'm supposed to do
Also, has anybody heard about Fez? It's a game where you have to switch dimensions / the angle of the screen in order to progress, Super Paper Mario style. For some reason, seeing this reminded me of the game, which would be ace on WiiWare.
Hmm... I'm unsure what to say about this, and I suppose I'll just have to wait until a UK release. Also, doesn't this look like it should be an Art Style game to you?

Re: More Wii horror from Grudge director Shimizu
Meh, the Grudge was crap. Not scary, not creepy, just... crap. Let's hope the guy is better at games than films.
Also: whatever happened to Sadness? I really want that game, but there's been nothing new for ages now.

Early this summer? Oh, poo. When I saw that they'd put out a press release, the first thing I thought of was that the game might be released in Europe tomorrow. Ah well...
Re: Wii Sports Resort to Launch Internationally in July
Yay - it's just a shame that a big chunk of E3 will likely be taken up with showing off the new mini games.
Re: Dunaway: No E3 Snowboarding This Time
@Bahamut ZERO: Why, I have no idea what you are talking about...
Re: Review: Captain Rainbow (Wii)
@Bahamut ZERO: Slight problem there... Wii games won't play on your DS
Re: Dunaway: No E3 Snowboarding This Time
Thank God for that.
Re: Brits buy 92,000 DSis in launch weekend
And without me, it would have just been 89,999.

Re: Iwata and WarioWare: Snapped!
I saw this a few days ago, and found it funny how even Iwata had a few minor camera problems from time to time.
Re: Equilibrio Available on WiiWare Today in North America
Aweseome - I've been looking forward to this one for ages. Let's hope it lives up to its potential and gets a European release this Friday.
Re: South Korean President feeling sad about DS Piracy

Re: Ghostbusters Wii to feature exclusive co-op play
Lookin' good, although online co-op would have been excellent.
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)
@Stuffgamer1: I thought that the two most hated Zelda games were Zelda II and Wind Waker?
Re: News: NoA President Talks DSiWare
I'm impressed with DSiWare so far, and will try out Art Style tomorrow - if only Pop could come sooner
(ps: typing this on my DSi )

Puyo Puyo? IS THAT ALL? At least there's an online mdoe, but it seemed like it was going to be something much more...

This year, I made this one which went down quite well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYiPagjPKx4
Re: DSiWare Launch Titles in Australia (and elsewhere...?)
That totals 2100 points - dammit Nintendo! You can never be even slightly convenient, can you?
Either way, I'm glad that WarioWare and Azurio have made it, even though Pop Plus didn't - which has to be the worst part to the update.
Here's hoping the shop will be updated AT LEAST once per week from now on

Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!
@That Guy from Faxanadu: I said that. Stop copying me.
Re: Crash Tag Team Racing
This was great fun, it's just a shame that it didn't last too well and half of it was ripped off from Simpsons Hit & Run.
Re: Crash Nitro Kart
Am I the only person who thought that this was underrated? Four player battles on this offered some great fun.
Re: Review: Bonsai Barber (WiiWare)
And to think that everyone else thought that this was gonna be rubbish
Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!

Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!
The one thing I don't like is the coming soon and out now lists, which take up a lot more space than before.
One question though guys: what is the exact difference between the Retro and Virtual Console sections?
Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!
I hate this change! Why have you ruined my favourite site?
Oh, right. You already said why.
The 'site looks pretty snazzy, but it'll just take some getting used to.
RIP WiiWareWorld
One more question: what does this mean for the YouTube channels? Is WiiWareWorld officially dead?
Re: Review: Eledees: The Adventures of Kai and Zero (DS)
I won't be getting this simply because of how much it has changed for the excellent original game.
Re: XSEED Games Announces Drill Sergeant Mindstrong for WiiWare
@Neomega: Haven't you heard? Corbie doesn't only give out sevens any more. Spoilsport.
Oh, and as for the game: this get's a big fat "meh" from me.

Re: Ten Arcade Games We'd Like To See On The Virtual Console Arcade
I thought I was the only one looking for Marble Madness! If this is released, it will definitely be an instant download for me.
Gauntlet would also be a great release, but I can't think of anything else that I'd really want atm.
@7th Lutz: You want Boulder Dash twice?
Re: Kimi to Boku to Ritai Coming To US WiiWare
@JohnshiBRPG: If you'd have thought to look, you'd have seen that WWW added the game a couple of days ago.
Re: Aussie Classification Board website hacked
That is amazing, and I praise the guys that did it.
It still won't help the "mature gaming" war going on at the moment though.
Re: Bonsai Barber Coming To WiiWare This Monday
@KDR_11k: No they didn't, at one point Bplus were even looking for a price point of 2000 points due to the long length of Plattchen, but it was clear that this would put people off, so Nintendo did the next best thing and let them sell it for 1500 (in Europe at least, don't forget that it only cost 1000 in NA). Re: Review: Texas Hold'em Tournament (WiiWare)

Re: Review: Texas Hold'em Tournament (WiiWare)
Something told me that this wasn't going to be decent, (no idea what ), and as it turned out, that intuition was right.
Oh, and Nintendo - you smell for giving us this one game for the past couple of weeks.
Re: And The Winner Is...?
The t-shirt arrived this morning guys, and it's pretty decent! Thank you very much!

Re: Bonsai Barber Coming To WiiWare This Monday
WOW! This was a surprise, and I actually can't wait to give this a try. Come on, people - try something different!
Re: Penguins & Friends
Let's hope that this is better than Family and Friends Party, though the puzzling doesn't look too exciting at the moment.
Also: after a quick glance at the official website, I noticed a tab entitled "requeriments". Spelling fail!
Re: Japanese Releases 31 March 2009
