I really hope they just Build Miiverse to become more of the Nintendo Twitter. I would love that on my smart phone if they can make Miiverse a bit more conducive to conversation.

I agree for the most part.Nintendo is a company focused on the long term, thats how they define success. What they are doing now is simply not suited for the current market, but as things change the strategy Nintendo is embarking on will shine.

Really should not be supporting this, the fact that this is officially licensed by Capcom at least to me feels like abusing the system or at least killing the point of Kickstarter.

Another trailer of anything on the more mature side would of been perfect for VGX: Bayonetta 2, X, even Smash Bro's(because everyone loves it) would of all been amazing choices. They did not have to reveal a lot, they just had to reveal something that was right for the venue and they did not.

@DarkwingLz My personal big problem with Nintendo Directs is they really dont help people become aware of what Nintendo offers because the people aware of Nintendo Directs most likely already have a Wii U or 3DS.

These types of things help get the word out on new and existing products people may not know about to different markets. Why they decided Donkey Kong of all things during the Dudebro awards is beyond me.

VGX really needs to be rebranded to the "Dudebro Game Awards" because thats who its target is(even then failing). Seriously how are award shows hard:

1- Nominate games
2- Set up a venue
3- Invite people to said Venue
4- Have Guests come up and announce the finalist
5- Hand out awards.
6- Sprinkle in some short videos about what happened during the year in the industry.

VGX managed to fail on EVERY account of what makes an award show.

@Kaze_Memaryu I hope the next step for both 3DS and WiiU is to add an on the fly screenshot mechanic, would love to capture some of those crazy moments in Monster Hunter. Perhaps something in a future iteration , a screenshot button.

@Cammy ALBW does, but Ocarina doesnt but thats because it has no community atm. I Imagine over the month we will see more communities added to play catch up.

Download only is the way to go with a 3DS just due to its portability. If you have more then one game at the same time going then its a instant +. It is a bit absurd that games from last year cost the same now as they do at release, but of course there is no competition so the only drive to reduce the cost is when sales trickle very low and the reduced price makes it relevant again.

At least that's my big issue, I'm willing to pay a little more for the QoL of having no card to worry about loosing, but I'm definitely not paying full price for something that's old.

Provide a way for us to put our money where our mouth is i would say. Give me something like kickstarter for Bayonetta 1 or Monster Hunter 4, il put the money down this second as a show I intend to purchase it. If enough is not generated then it simply doesnt happen and we get our money back, if it does then the mulah becomes non refundable pre orders and you simply get the game when it is ready.

@crazyj2312 They Most likely will not bring it over to the west as much as i hate to admit it. Each Generation of monster hunter always have several iterations , and my guess in that in the West we are more unwilling to purchase every iteration of Monster Hunter in the same generation(at least thats capcoms thought). So we will see Monster Hunter 4G or something like that with a Wii U and 3DS release.

I wish this was not the case but its my guess based off of passed releases. But we can still pray, dont forget to use -#BringMH4totheWest

Just due to the venue , i think its going to be on X,Bayonetta 2,Smash Bro's or surprise us all with Zelda and Metroid.

@Squidzilla Would love one, just a quick keeping track/dont forget about article. Already tons of Kickstarter posts on the forums that keep getting funneled into that one post and usually get ignored so having them on the front page and get a bit more exposure might = more games on the Wii U!

@rjejr Most of the deals have been heavily console related as a whole during this discount banaza. I have seen very few game deals, and if there are any its not by a lot. I would of liked to seen some eshop deals.

I'm optimistic , media is finally starting to take notice at the value of the Wii U now that PS4 and Xbox one are out and the hype train has left.

@ScreamoPichu Thing to keep in mind with that is that only 360's and PS3's where the only things on sale barring an exception via Walmart but that was online only. PS4 and Xbox One are not going to be discounted and nor was the Wii U so black friday it would not have much of an impact.

@electrolite77 Of course they are competing for customers who wish to play games, thats the broadest category it can fall under obviously there is TONS of crossover. Once you funnel it down, you will see that the Wii U is very much not aiming to directly compete with the Xbox and PS4 and is positioning itself away from them.

Im really waiting for cyber monday, this BlackFriday deals where disappointing. Whats with the no Eshop sales for Black Friday? Was just the same things always on sale.

@Alshain01 Yes you can. Go in game and and hit the home button, then go to say imageshack.us and press upload. How do you think i got these AC4 screenshots in 720p? I dont have a recording device(yet).

@Pinkspider Just got to any img hosting service you prefer or really any place you can upload a media file instead of going to miiverse. Then when it asks to upload an img you will have w/e is displayed on either screen as an option not scaled down.

@PinkSpider if you really want to save an image just upload it to some place to store it anyway. Miiverse down scales the quality while if you just upload it to somewhere directly it will be full quality.

I just feel it doesnt go far enough like most of Nintendo's marketing efforts.

@WanderFan91 I would say X is second, as X4 was the highlight of the X series for me. Sadly we wont see X4 on a Nintendo console perhaps ever.
