Gunvolt series is so good. Basically the spiritual and modernised successor to the Mega Man Z series (same dev)

GX without question. X has aged badly - and feels so empty and lacking in charisma. GX still holds up as an excellent racer in its own right.

Tried the last demo, and have to say I much prefer Dauntless to this - and Dauntless is free.

Ports of old games are great. And old game is still a new game if you've never played it before - don't ever forget that.

This is such a fun series and generally misunderstood I think. Its bizarrely way more cute and wholesome than people realise, when you look past the obvious ecchi side of it. Ive really enjoyed both previous games, but never played the xbox original.

Hades, Spirtfarer and Nexomon all worthy third party entries there for sure. Always amazes me how the first party stuff stays so popular. Surely EVERYONE own Mario Kart already by now?

@JayJ its legit the best thing about this game. Its SO good. Borderline revolutionary - honestly. Its the singular best thing thats happened to the genre in ages. Every car essentially makes it feel like a while new game.

For reference. I played the prologue on Steam for almost 20 hours, and thats just 2 cars and 2 tracks!

@JimmySpades I would absolutely reccomend. I have both Steam and Switch versions. The mechanics are incredible once it clicks after the first 10 mins or so of play.

The fact this didn't have local co op is an absolute joke.

Love, love, LOVE this game. Been playing all day. Easily my favourite arcade racer in a long time - something really special.

The Plants vs Zombies shooters don't get anywhere near enough credit that they deserve. Not a massive EA fan tbh - but they PvZ stuff like Garden Warfare are really well made.

I love the stupid physics games, so am down for some Fight Crab, other than that it's Inertial Drift, then saving some cash for Mario 3D All Stars

I'd love to see mainline Kingdom Hearts on Switch rather than offshoots - it's the perfect fit I think.

Evergate easily my favourite. Mechanically the most refreshing platformer I've played in ages. Mad flexibility around the way you move and a crazy high skill ceiling if you're willing to explore and push the mechanics. Wonderful game.

The Last Campfire and Captain Tsubasa for me for sure - it's been too long since someone made a really fun OTT football game.

So many great Arcade Racers coming out at last. I'm probably going for Inertial Drift first as the PC demo was incredible, then maybe pick this up when it goes on sale.
