Bandai Namco has released its financial results for FY2022 and its looking mighty promising for the publisher. With a total of ¥125 billion ($963 million) in profits, this marks a staggering 48.2% rise from the previous year.

Net sales rose 20% to a total of ¥889 billion ($6.8 billion), due largely in part to the monumental success of Elden Ring. In terms of game sales, the company sold a total of 56 million software units across 66 different titles.

Japan remains the company's most profitable region, making up 70% of the publisher's sales across its business units. The Americas follow at 11%, with Europe and Asia each taking a 9% split.

Looking ahead, the publisher has multiple Switch games in the pipeline, including the likes of Digimon Survive, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, Dragon Ball: The Breakers, and SD Gundam Battle Alliance.

Along with its ongoing success, Bandai Namco has made some significant changes in recent times, including providing its Japanese staff with a lovely pay rise. It's also launched a brand new company logo, ditching the multi-coloured old design for a more modernised, streamlined approach.
