The switch 2 is proving to be on par and sometimes surpassing the Xbox series S. So any game that comes to Series S should be able to come to Switch 2, ps4 is not the best comparison

I think without releasing the switch 2 version at launch and to try to advertise it’s better than Mario Kart World was a mistake. Between the two games Crossworlds has more content but for racing mechanics and sheer polish World has it beat. Also the Switch 1 open beta hurt sales too

They worked with Ubisoft and got the space required for Star Wars Outlaws to a third of its original size. Maybe Nintendo will help Microsoft/Activision by using their compression dark magic they have

Digital sales in 2025 on Nintendo alone was 53% of all games sales and that was up 3% from 2024 and 5% from 2023. For PlayStation it was 78% and Xbox 91%. Nintendo might be able to hold on for a few more years but overall physical media will die

The system upscales switch 1 games to the switch 2. In my testing my switch 1 games that struggled on the original system seem to not struggle at all on the switch 2 and I’ll take 120 hrz and hdr over oled any day of the week

You just really enjoy Crossworlds. I personally enjoy Mario Kart World in its current state but know there is a lot more to come. It’s only been a little over 3 months since it came out just because they haven’t already told you their DLC plans doesn’t mean it’s not happening. You must have not gotten very far in Donkey Kong Bananza because yes there is a lot of destruction but there is also a lot of clever platforming sections, fun story beats and even a clever end game story. I’m glad your opinion of the game is in the minority of people who played it

I would disagree, they kept the slim form factor of the switch but gave us a console that is capable of games like cyberpunk and outlaws running as well as they do. Steamdeck can’t do ray tracing and often games run like trash on there, also both the steamdeck and other portable pcs are gigantic and expensive compared to your switch 2
