Remember the Neo-Geo X? It was a hybrid handheld/console several years before the Switch (unless you're referring to it), granted it was pretty much an atgames handheld I think.
Now, imagine if the Switch had it's own equivalent of google cardboard. If the "JoyCons" have Gyro controls (most likely a 50/50 chance) then the Switch would be the most affordable VR solution with motion controls!
@GoshDangTravino Some android devices actually come pre-rooted, and some companies designing phones actually embrace rooting; alot of the negative stigma for preventing root access seems to be coming from potential lawsuits from the media industry, and much of the security measures apply to phones sold by the big phone companies (I'm looking at you, Verizon) Also, the main difference between iOS and Android OS is that Android already lets you do most of the things jailbreaking has to offer on iOS - sideloading apps, don't need itunes to transfer music, emulators, etc.
End of Pokemon go for me, 'cause they alienated all root users. Good job Niantic. (Unless they unblock root users...)
Also, blocking root doesn't block all GPS spoofing because it's an android DEVELOPER OPTION, and you don't even need to be rooted to utilize that!
@PlywoodStick Also, the SNES has been emulated in the past on a plain old DS (Not perfectly, though) Also, there are SNES emulators on the GBA. (NOT the ports, there are actual emulators for the thing!)
Although there were some hiccups with the emulation, remember that the 3DS is nearly as powerful as the Gamecube, which could handle N64 emulation! (And I'm referring to that Zelda collection with emulated OOT and MM.)
Here's some more things: Donkey Kong Country 2. (Another Remaster like SMB3?) Mario Bros. Collection (But there's only one) Mario 3DS... (Except it's on WiiU) Mario Pro (Working Title) [This is on WiiU] Super Donkey Kong Country Bonsai Mario Pro [This is on NX] Duck Cry (Far Cry + that dog?) Donkey Kong Country U (On 3DS) F-Zero DX (How many people would want this?) The Legend of Zelda: Toenail of Pastor (Eww) Super Super Mario (Working Title) Metroid: Bedroom U (O.o) Pokémon 3DS (Which one?) Dew Shoemaker (???) Rugby Life (Will Nintendo not screw this up unlike most other developers who did?)
Super Mario Bros 3. For WiiU
Oh the redundancy.
Also, Super Mario Bros DX. ( A reboot with a recycled title? =D)
And Splatoon HD for the WiiU. (And it just came out on the WiiU XD)
@ Aenaida Alot of the newer Neo-Geo games on the VC are being compressed into zip files, so the game will probably be pushed from 362 blocks to 132, so in VC standards, 392 blocks to 162.
I saw the trailer for Music On: Electric Guitar and then bought it (Finding out it actually did come to America on Monday), and it sounds so absolutely sick and awesome it even beats $600 guitar samples that I've found on the internet. It fortunately has really good controls too. Easily the best Music On released yet.
Pretty much every game on here can come to the VC with the exception of two games: Prehistoric Isle 2: 478 Megs "Blocks" Strikers 1945 Plus: I believe the game is somewhere in the 500 range. Can't remember the exact size but I know that the game is too big to fit on the VC,
@ Julio Don't worry, you don't need a DS to see new microgames. "Although there will only be 2 games added each week, not counting the games made by "Big Names"."
In my opinion, this game gets an 8 solely because the evil camera is fixed. Also I haven't seen any game on the DS since launch that has better graphics than this other than the Nanostray series.
@ StarFox They still have SSF2 Genesis and the arcade versions of all the Street Fighters "Excluding 3, obviously." But SFA2 on the VC means that Super FX Support on the VC is nearer than it seems! "SFA2 used a special graphics chip."
"Infact, did you know the first game was built from the ground up for the Genesis/MD? It was simply ported over to the SNES." Did you also know that the sequel was built from the ground up on THE SNES instead of the genesis! Glad I own the SNES version, seeing this game might get cancelled on the VC.

Re: Video: Check Out This Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Mod for Those With Grown-Up Hands
That looks even less comfortable to be honest.
Re: Nintendo's April Fools' Day Prank is for a Fire Emblem Game That Would Actually Be Cool
It's a 3DS game where one screen handles the world map, but battles only happen on a Switch's screen!
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Switch Game Cards Limited To 16GB Size
Believe it or not, the PC release of Skyrim Special Edition is only 12 GB. It should be able to fit on a launch cartridge easy.

Re: Sega 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage Adds Thunder Force III
I noticed that TGS actually referred to it as Sega 3D Classics Collection 2. Is a US (err, Western) release upon us too?

Re: Video: New Metroid Prime: Federation Force Trailer Arrives, and It's Still Fighting Dislikes
I know the 3DS can push FAR better graphics than these - it looks like a Quake 3 mod!
Actually, I wonder if FedForce uses one of id's engines...

There's also an RPG based off of the second book which is even better than the first one.

Fun Fact: This game was originally a DS tech demo from over 5 years ago!

Nintendo would get SUED over the first game due to the spinning control stick games.
Re: NES-Style DJ Hero is Bleeping Cool
@LOLOLOLOL It's made in Gamemaker (I think, all his games are made with it) so your only option is a PC.

Apparently it's already ESRB rated E10+.
Re: Street Fighter II': Champion Edition

That's the Genesis version. If I recall, the PC Engine version "Wasn't released outside Japan" was just called Champion Edition.

Not looking forward to this, considering Capcom released a FREEWARE version that you can play in your internet browser!
