Re: Random: Please Don't Drop Your Switch, Says Nintendo

Strictlystyles

Years ago My ex got mad and threw my switch across the room and it went right into the bed frame. Like joy con first halfway through and was stuck in it.

I knew at that point we were going to fight because the switch had just came out and was selling for numbers, but when I pulled it out, the switch was actually unharmed. Not even a scuff.I am still using it to this day.

Nintendo really makes some sturdy goods.
Thanks Nintendo

Re: Soapbox: Pokémon Legends: Arceus Is A Reminder That It's Never Too Late To Change

@Ralizah I purchased the game, I know what it is. My comment was based off the OP saying they never really liked Pokémon as an rpg anyway and clearly was more impressed by my action elements in arceus than the battle system changes. I didn’t say that the problem with Pokémon was that they were rpgs, I just hate when people make those types of comments when an rpg adds more action based features.

Re: Talking Point: Triangle Strategy Is A Bad Name, Which Hopefully Won't Matter

@Gwynbleidd honestly I thought about adding in parenthesis “in Japanese” also refers to phonetics as well because I knew someone would say this but oh well.

And yea, it actually does sound better phonetically in an Japanese accent with more syllables then the way it sounds with an English accent. That’s usually the reason why they pick these what we call “odd” names. It just sounds cooler when they say it.

@2Qwuik and ngs used a “modified” version of he1 which technically could have been the basis for he2. So my assumptions could be correct. I mean if you play ngs the graphics and terrain look almost identical to that of the little we’ve seen of frontier. It would make perfect sense

Re: Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard, Now Owns Call Of Duty And Crash Bandicoot

@dkxcalibur we are talking about publishers not developers here. There were only but so many big publishers and now Microsoft has taken 2 of the biggest. Of course this isn’t the end of it and the more publishers they get the closer this gets to a monopoly. You would be right if this was just an issue of them snatching up developers this another level.

As far as Microsoft pc you still have a choice it’s just that devs don’t make that choice, the same way a lot of devs overlook android.

@NinjaGuy69 the cringe response was you defending Microsoft. And that says a lot coming from me
Because I’m an Xbox guy and even I know this was sleazy move.
And when I said it affects gamers as a whole that includes Nintendo and Sony gamers. There are a lot of people who don’t have a decent gaming pc and an Xbox and it only lowers the install base of Bethesdas titles.
