FINNALLY FM1 I’m buying idc how much it costs. I played some rough eng translations of the originals on emulators back in the day. so glad to be able to re play with some good official ones
Edit: Ughhh actually it’s a remake. I hate that word. Not holding my breath. Would have loved a remaster….
Pre ordered mine like a week ago. I gotta stop buying these I have a least a hundred and the prices are getting out of hand for these and figures in general. Gotta get out the game
@Gwynbleidd possibly but another possibility, from what people have told me directly is that English words just sound cool to them. It’s weird because I also think English words sound cooler when they say it too 😭
@Gwynbleidd honestly I thought about adding in parenthesis “in Japanese” also refers to phonetics as well because I knew someone would say this but oh well.
And yea, it actually does sound better phonetically in an Japanese accent with more syllables then the way it sounds with an English accent. That’s usually the reason why they pick these what we call “odd” names. It just sounds cooler when they say it.
@2Qwuik and ngs used a “modified” version of he1 which technically could have been the basis for he2. So my assumptions could be correct. I mean if you play ngs the graphics and terrain look almost identical to that of the little we’ve seen of frontier. It would make perfect sense
@dkxcalibur we are talking about publishers not developers here. There were only but so many big publishers and now Microsoft has taken 2 of the biggest. Of course this isn’t the end of it and the more publishers they get the closer this gets to a monopoly. You would be right if this was just an issue of them snatching up developers this another level.
As far as Microsoft pc you still have a choice it’s just that devs don’t make that choice, the same way a lot of devs overlook android.
@Jeronan that’s old news, he will stay after the aquistion. https://t.co/Am3YtSCNNE
“Bobby Kotick will continue to serve as CEO of Activision Blizzard, and he and his team will maintain their focus on driving efforts to further strengthen the company’s culture and accelerate business growth,”
@dkxcalibur we know it’s not an official monopoly but it’s one step closer to it and we know this won’t stop here. Once you take away enough third party choice You might as well call it how you see it now tbh. The writing is on the wall.
@UmbreonsPapa the problem is it’s a slippery slope. Once they buy one pub it’s only a matter of time until they buy more and more. This is not going to stop here. Microsoft is trying to purchase their competition so they no longer have to compete and Microsoft is notorious for this.
THe answer is absolutely. Nintendo knows how to innovate without over complicating things with tech the market isn’t really ready for; that’s why (along with their super strong first first party titles) it will always be competitive in this space
@scottishwildcat I’m well aware of that, regardless for a “definitive” release it should have been an internal project as a love letter to their fans. They were only thinking about making a quick buck in this instance.
There should not be a patch with notes this long on a ‘definitive’ version of games that released over ten years ago. Why did they even pick that dev to work on it? It should have been internal.
@shaneoh I’m not going to blame the seller because the zennimax board is a bunch of old guys with no ties to video gaming. The blame is mostly on Microsoft here. Like I said it’s legal but it’s not a good move for gaming. Maybe a good move for game pass but will hurt gamers as a whole.
@shaneoh how many times do I have to say it just because it’s legal doesn’t make it right . That’s exactly why it was a sleazy EA type of move(I.e when EA bought exclusive rights to the NFL).
@shaneoh what does that even mean no contract? If Microsoft hadn’t have bought them out it would have definitely been multi platform. Don’t need a contract to know that was a certainty
@chocolate_supra for me it’s not just elder scrolls. Bethesda has a big library and making most if not all future titles exclusive is a big blow to gamers in general.
Bayonetta I can forgive , as it’s just one title that may not have even seen light of day if not for nintendo
@NinjaGuy69 the cringe response was you defending Microsoft. And that says a lot coming from me
Because I’m an Xbox guy and even I know this was sleazy move.
And when I said it affects gamers as a whole that includes Nintendo and Sony gamers. There are a lot of people who don’t have a decent gaming pc and an Xbox and it only lowers the install base of Bethesdas titles.
It doesn’t matter if the games are free, the monetization scheme for a lot of these games is still a predatory scam aimed at luring people in with f2p mechanics and then coaxing them into gambling their money away on RNG characters/items to keep up. it just promotes lazy game development that isn’t worth the money being put into it.
Even those strategy/puzzle games with the “timer” element get so bad at f2p, you are waiting days and not hrs, in which people who are that entrenched will just shell out the money. I’d rather pay money and get a decent game then an half assed gatcha game that’s scamming it’s users.
@Grot mobile games are a legitimate scam lol. We’re not talking about just digital purchases, I digitally purchase games all the time. But the way a lot of these mobile titles monetize their content is a total scam. It’s usually not based off gameplay or new content like dlc. A lot of it is just rolling the dice on something with a .98746 to 4% chance of hitting every couple of weeks. I don’t know how you can defend these practices tbh.

What do you mean it looks rough? As a person who’s played through the original on vita (the psn release) this looks a ton better

Re: Review: OlliOlli World - A Radical Departure And A Must-Play
@N8tiveT3ch how? Just look at the character on the cover. Same art style just bigger. Look at the artwork from the first trailer. Absolute same vibes
Re: Review: OlliOlli World - A Radical Departure And A Must-Play
I like the game just like the other 2 but I hate the scribblenaughts art style. Just my opinion
Re: Talking Point: Triangle Strategy Is A Bad Name, Which Hopefully Won't Matter
@Gwynbleidd possibly but another possibility, from what people have told me directly is that English words just sound cool to them. It’s weird because I also think English words sound cooler when they say it too 😭
Re: Talking Point: Triangle Strategy Is A Bad Name, Which Hopefully Won't Matter
@NintendoWife we have enough action adventure games and if you want that, ff origins is right around the corner.
A few new strategy games this year will be a nice change of pace and I can’t wait.

Yea im sure the name sounds better in Japanese.

@cherryghost41 yes, Microsoft did. Check my quote I posted a while back
Re: Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard, Now Owns Call Of Duty And Crash Bandicoot
@Jeronan again still speculation I don’t really wanna get into that(not invalidating the point you’re trying to make)
Re: Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard, Now Owns Call Of Duty And Crash Bandicoot
@glaemay it is but buying publishers is worse because there are umbrellas of devs and ips going away then say getting developer.
Re: Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard, Now Owns Call Of Duty And Crash Bandicoot
@glaemay buying devs is ok but publishers is not ok.
Re: Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard, Now Owns Call Of Duty And Crash Bandicoot
@Jeronan that’s all speculation tbh. Officially he will stay and if he does eventually leave it won’t be for a while.
Re: Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard, Now Owns Call Of Duty And Crash Bandicoot
@Arkay I hate both actually. It’s crazy how people were defending tencents practices and calling most criticism xenophobic lol

@jongred absolutely not.

@Jeronan kotik is staying according to Microsoft. Nothing good came of this purchase lol

Ugh this is not good for gaming….
And everybody was defending the Bethesda purchase, it’s a slippery slope and Microsoft one step closer to a monopoly.
UPDATE: Kotik is staying after acquisition.
