@Darknyht nice try, for every nintendo ip remake or re-release of a 30+ yo game we get a review. it being old and something familiar to a lot of people is not a reason to ignore it. like I said, they're not even ignoring/boycotting it properly
@Balta666 I don't actually and would like to be informed officially. Also what kind of a boycott is that when they had several articles about the game itself, one published yesterday?
@StardusterEX they did actually, it's very well explained, look it up @Lyricana Ah yes ofc, but when we get ports of 30 plus yo games it's the best thing ever, nice logic.
@Kiwi_Unlimited the game has been out for what, more than 2 weeks? I've played it a lot back in the day and now on switch as well and I know everything there is to know. I was just wondering how come there's still no review for such a popular and important game for the switch
The mental gymnastics being performed by the fanboys to justify this bs is staggering. Had they said that they were going to improve the infrastructure and make online multiplayer better I would definitely cough up the money. Packing in old a** games which you can play almost anywhere and a bunch of people already bought a few times already is not a good deal.
I haven't had any issues, maybe I was lucky. anyway, I know somebody already asked but where's the review? are you boycotting blizzard because of the recent scandal? don't tell me you just missed it because you had to review fistifluffs and colors live
@Rich_Uncle_Skeleton I am aware of that but these guys have 25 years of technological advancement and this is what they come up with? it doesn't even match the art style imho. spiritfarer and jotun as far as I know didn't come from huge studios. correct me if I'm wrong which I very well could be
@Gwynbleidd ofc, but when it comes to 2d games animation is something I find very important
Once I saw the reveal I was hooked. I preordered it even though I never do that. I wasn't sure if it would be successful or not but I knew it was something that suited me. Good article btw. More articles like this, less of those about the met gala and whether a bunch of pixels are bi or not
while I applaud the devs and peripherals manufacturers for taking disabled people into consideration, this "inclusivity" dream is unrealistic, someone will always be excluded and that's just a simple reality. like one commenter mentioned, growing up there were no games that supported my native language, there's barely any today. guess what? I played simple games I could understand until my English got better. never felt excluded because my language wasn't supported.
Was this article supposed to be funny? I don't see the point of this article other than promoting this debauchery. Most of us don't care about the met gala and the "celebs"
@stinky_t dk, haven't played that one. When there were labo rumors I made an outlandish prediction and guessed correctly so that's what I'm sticking with
it's gonna be something you stick to your forehead and the game that will feature the controller is going to be a quiz where you'll answer by nodding your head.
I'd like to know how do you guys pick the games you're going to review. What is the criteria? I ask this because often times you review games nobody cares about and leave out more popular titles. Also I don't believe the story you're giving us a for a second.
yeah, this is something "video game journalists" should be doing, that includes you NL. not some guy on youtube. props to karl jobst and pat the nes punk who's been vocal about this issue for months/years
I played the 1st one on the wii u, I liked it at first and got a bit tired of it later but was determined to finish it. It was a long time ago, but I remember it well, some sections were too cryptic for my taste, didn't know what to do or where to go next. It's a good game but I never really understood the hype
I like the style the artist picked for this and wouldn't mind a game in that style tbh. a lot of fanboying about "nintendo's charm and spirit and creativity" in the comments.
@Eddy9000 you're right in theory but how many times have we seen big companies jack other people's stuff without even asking and once caught they just say "oopsie doopsie, we're sorry"? when a small company or an individual even think about doing the same they're happy if they get away with just a cease and desist
how is it not p2w if you can pay to upgrade an item that gives you in game advantage? I played the game for a few hours and I liked what I saw, didn't get far enough to see anything out of the ordinary for a moba
@ZestyFork there's a lot of waiting, yeah. I liked the art and music very much, a cool little game. double dipping is getting beyond ridiculous at this point
