Nice, but I still won't be getting it. Even as a huge Sonic fan (understatement), I've gotten pretty tired of the Rush gameplay. The special stages in this version? That's what the Modern stages should have been like, even if they had to trim them down or even cut out a couple stages like with Unleashed on Wii. (Just don't cut out the best stage like on that version )
May as well get both. They both have just enough counterbalancing pros and cons to make it worth it. Man, there really is a whole wealth of games to suck my money up in the coming months!
I still laughed my head off when the trailer said "My magic may be weak, but my strength is strong!". It reminded me of that clip from an anime I saw that said "People die when they are killed."
treasure chest music plays "You got the Bladed Discus! Throw the Wii U controller at the screen to slice through multiple enemies at once with this powerful projectile!"
@SteveW: That's what a point-and-click game is, dude. The best part about them is experiencing the story (that, and finding fun little hidden tidbits). If your point-and-click game has a terrible story, throw it out the window.
Nice interview, guys, it was really in-depth. I may pick up Kyotokei, but if they're really thinking about a 3DS eShop release, I think I may just pick up that version instead.
@Mao: Well, this one actually kind of has a good reason for porting: not enough people played it, especially with the PS2 version's limited print run. On top of that, they're fixing some bugs from the original version, like slowdown/framerate and some glitches. Anyway, as a Tales fan, it goes without saying that I'll pick this up on the spot.
@Shadowflash: This is purely hypothetical, and even then, I don't see anything about "demise" here, the article is very blatantly stating that the company isn't going under, but instead is making games for other people (hypothetically).
And am I the only one who likes a lot of recent Sega games?
As long as they keep doing what they're doing as far as the quality of their products (mainly software, since I'm in the mindset of if Nintendo went 3rd-party) goes, the company can be owned by whoever, be making whatever products, and have whatever value of stock. As long as they have freedom to do as they please, Nintendo can go 3rd-party, and I wouldn't care.
Uh......huh. Why is this bad? As many others have said, most people that still don't have a Wii probably aren't really concerned with something like GC support. So why are some people here freaking out? Are you afraid that they'll send mercenaries to break into your house and forcibly rip the GC compatibility from your current Wii? I would think it's only a problem is you don't own one yet.
@48: "Oh you may be asking, "why so serious"? Because you know this redesign will be NoA's "Christmas Present" to North America, Reggie being the Grinch he is presently"
What kind of reason is that? Were you expecting something out-of-left-field and special? Like they randomly decide to release Xenoblade or something? That's setting your hopes a little too high, pal.

Ooh, this is really cool for collectors like me. I hope it has stuff like a price guide along with all the other material.

Re: Dragon Quest X Goes Online for Wii and Wii U
Huh, so it's like the Dragon Quest version of FFXI? I may actually look into this, even if I lost interest in DQIX after almost beating it.
Re: PDP Returns to Combat with Wii Modern Warfare Headset
@Kid_Crono: They really seemed to with Black Ops, don't see why this would be any different. Except for, y'know, DLC that should be there.
Re: Feature: BIT.TRIP SAGA vs. BIT.TRIP COMPLETE
May as well get both. They both have just enough counterbalancing pros and cons to make it worth it. Man, there really is a whole wealth of games to suck my money up in the coming months!

Huh, I would pick up both of them if I had more disposable income.

Metroid Dread. That's the only thing I can think of, especially considering the timing...
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Preparing Dual Analogue 3DS Revamp
At first I said, "Oh come on.....", then I saw the plan for current owners. Not too bad, but I still don't really believe it.
Re: Check Your 3DS Ambassador Status Now, North America
You know, I think it may be more fun if they don't tell us what the remaining games are soon. I like surprises, it makes it more exciting.
Re: Check Your 3DS Ambassador Status Now, North America
"Thanks to all the readers who sent this in."
Sheesh, how many submissions did you get? Anyway, I.B. Confirmed. Now to just sit back and watch the SpotPass light (I'm assuming).

Great review! /me goes to work out import expenses
@DarkEdi: Or it could be.......you know......that other way (which I didn't realize we couldn't talk about here ).

faints from the epic thought

As long as they keep doing what they're doing as far as the quality of their products (mainly software, since I'm in the mindset of if Nintendo went 3rd-party) goes, the company can be owned by whoever, be making whatever products, and have whatever value of stock. Re: Tekken 3D Prime Edition Shots and Trailer Pack a Punch
I may grab this. I tend to enjoy 3D fighters much more than 2D ones.

Punch-Out and Paper Mario for me, please.
Re: Review: Kyotokei (WiiWare)
Those bosses look like something outta Parodius.
Re: Feature: What Happened to Metroid 64?
You know, they could have looked at Jet Force Gemini. That would have been a good game for influence.
