I'm willing to place my_point_is's comment as the most likely scenario. To be frank, though, I say Europe deserves these games after all the delays and other crap they go through compared to us North Americans. If they get some stuff that we don't, it's no skin off my nose, it's not like I don't have anything else to buy and play.
Because most people are saying they want more of the same, just improved, I'm gonna throw a curveball and say I want a Metroid beat-'em-up. Rive City Ransom/Scott Pilgrim style so you still have room for exploration, with Higgs, the Hunters, maybe even the Luminoths and some boss characters.
Well, yeah. They're waiting for the price drop. Why 20 free games isn't that much incentive, apparently, I don't know, but I do see that people just want to save money.
If anything, I'd say an unerasable save file matters even less in this game than in RE: Mercenaries. Still a fine review, though, looks like a price-dropper on my end.
Makes sense, since most American broadcast programs are really strict with their licensing. I guess they could put original content on it to make it launch sooner, but something tells me they wouldn't have a lot to show at the start....
Huh. Cool that even developers who haven't really shown a lot of support for Nintendo this generation are backing the Wii U up. He's got a point, too, since this is pretty much the Dreamcast perfected. Even if it's old technology, the fact that it's been polished and supported with this console makes it new.
I think the Wii U has enough of an innovation that it will feel fresh to an extent, but it will also feel very familiar, and to be honest, I think that's what I like best.
@Ryno: RE4 wasn't really scary as the other ones were, but the atmosphere was most definitely creepy. They didn't try to have individual moments where you were scared out of your pants, instead opting for a sense of uneasyness all throughout the game. (Although the dude bursting out of the oven and the Regenerators popping out of nowhere were pretty good spooks)
Great impressions, Marcel, definitely seems like one to look forward to for the classic fans.
What, like we didn't figure this out already? Namco hates releasing Tales games out west, I found it incredibly surprising that they're even opting for Abyss 3D to be released over here.

Re: Koizumi Talks Super Mario 3D Hub, Caps and Replay Value

Re: Nintendo Download: 11th August 2011 (North America)
I'll probably grab Avenging Spirit and Kokopolo.
And sheesh, people are impatient.....

Re: Talking Point: The Future of Metroid
Actually, I want to see some of those Wii U ideas implemented. Those sound really fun!
Feenie's idea being used would be the greatest thing ever.

Now that's a tribute video. Very humble, yet completely conveys how fans feel about Metroid. The celebrity appearances made it all the cooler.

@Geonjaha: That distinction belongs to Lester the Unlikely.

Such a great series. Happy birthday, Samus, I'll have to pick up a game of yours that I don't own yet in celebration!
