@RacoonMario: I'd say VVVVVV is more of a death-based learn-from-your-mistakes platformer and this seems more of the standard jump-and-shoot platformer, plus gravity altercation.
Hmm, been a while since I've played Bust-a-Move/Puzzle Bobble. That last one I played was a PC port of Bust-a-Move 2 if I recall correctly. Maybe I'll look into this.
Seems like we have yet another quality Rytmik release on our hands. Although, I can't help but wonder what something like this would be like on WiiWare with DJ Hero Turntable compatibility....
Haha, Wipeout is a pretty crazy show to watch (normally in a good way), so this should be pretty fun. I can see it now, some fat bald guy running through a real-life Pac-Man stage being chased by giant animatronic ghosts with a look of terror on his face.
@Ecto-1: Hehe, it reads kind of like the instructions for those cheap Chinese console rip-offs. Nice info if you can work through the engrish, though, although this particularly caught my eye, and not for a good reason:
Purchased new Nintendo software download software and data move function can be moved to 3DS. Nintendo DSi from Nintendo DSi Nintendo DSi LL and you can move the software. There is a limit to the number of moving. Some software can not move.
Some 3rd party should make some kind of solar-powered induction charger mat that looks like a burrito. Just slip your 3DS in that, wrap it up, and put it in your pocket with the panels facing up for juice anywhere!
lol another advertising article. Not like it's a big deal, though, you guys have made some appealing sites with Movemodo and KINECTaku.
Hmm, a little teaser, though, huh? Well, chances are if it's not iThings, it has a higher chance of not being anything I would be too interested in. Come to think of it, I don't even own a iAnything! Well, good luck, anyway.
I feel like people are worrying a little too much. As long as you have fun with the game, who cares about the general consensus about it's quality? No matter how most people think this game is when it releases, it's going to be fun to play to many people. After all, Nintendo doesn't take it's killer franchises lightly.
(Let the arguing over WW, TP, and so on and so on's quality escalate even higher now. >:3)
This was pretty much my impression of it, at least, based on the single player mode. If I had a chance to try out the multiplayer, maybe I'd have more fun. Great review, Jacob.
Hmm....what Square game would be good on VC......besides the obvious Chrono Trigger........tbh, I'm not quite sure. Wasn't a big Square fan back in the SNES days, though I am now. Final Fantasy and World Heroes should be a couple of fine releases, though.
I was 3 or 4, I believe. I had no idea video games existed. Then Christmas came. My cousin gave me a package. It was his hand-me-down SNES, which, at the time, was just ending it's lifecycle. My sister, of all people seemed to know what it was, and was the one who hooked it up. Watching her play Super Mario All-Stars, (which my cousin also gave to me as a gift, because who wants a system with no games to play on it?) I was enthralled by all the moving colors and the little chubby guy who jumped on brown mushrooms. Then, I actually got to play. Needless to say, I was terrible, but as time went on, I gt better and better, and my adoration of video games grew deeper and deeper. Now I sit here today, sharing this memory of how my habit came to be, all because of that one Christmas.
@Superlink64: Hahaha, a waffle maker for christmas, that would be hilarious to me if I got it.
O Christmas Tree, Epiphany, and Snake Eater were my favorites. O Christmas Tree was fast-paced and frantic, just how I like my chiptunes, Epiphany was both beautiful and kickin' at the same time, and Snake Eater is just an awesome track period. (It kind of reminds me of the Tina Turner "GoldenEye" track, too, oddly enough) Nice podcast, Jon!

Re: First Impressions: 3DS Operating System and Built-In Software
I'm really looking forward to shooting that ugly Steelix-ripoff in the face.
Re: If You're Down Under, Nab an Agent Ford Statue with Conduit 2
Nice pull, Aussies.
Re: Launching This Spring is Nintendo's Secretive Title, Pandora's Tower
Ooh, with a cryptic quote like that, I'm sure this storytelling will be one to check out. It's too mind-twisting not to signify that!
Re: Sega Lets Loose with New Conduit 2 Screens and Details
Sounds like this could be fun at parties. If all these modes are available online, too, that's just icing on the cake.
Re: Top Screen Backlight to Blame for 3DS Battery Life
It's all good. It's not like it's difficult to find ways around this.
Re: Review: 505 Tangram (DSiWare)
Tangrams is a great way to pass the time, I'm surprised no one has thought of a DSiWare game before. May look into it.
Re: Sonic Colours Soundtrack Racing to iTunes
BA. Now I can listen to Aquarium Park, Asteroid Coaster, and Final Boss Phase 2 all I want.
And while I rather like Reach For the Stars, Speak With Your Heart kinda creeps me out....:|
Re: Mario Sports Mix Giveaway!
Kudos to Games Basement to make us North Americans happy as well. Good luck to all!

Re: No, You Cannot Fight as Samus in Dead or Alive: Dimensions
@motang: BLASPHEMY! You just had to learn how to use him, like I did.
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th January 2011 (North America)
I'm pretty interested in Jam City, and maybe Black Tiger, and lol Fish 'em All, but I don't have a lot of disposable cash at the moment.
Oh, and 1942, as well.
Re: No, You Cannot Fight as Samus in Dead or Alive: Dimensions
Well, if I am interpreting this right, Samus might be some sort of partner character. Well, I guess that's the next best thing if I'm correct.
Re: First Impressions: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
It'll be great again to play through OoT again. One of those games I'll never get tired of. Chalk me up on the "I'll buy this" half of the board.

Re: Hudson Announces 3DS Line-up
I guess Bomberman is a Blue Bomber...... I mean, he has that blue torso-belt combo thing, but he isn't the Blue Bomber.
Cool, though.
Re: There's a Limit on Transferring Software from One 3DS to Another
@Kid_A: As in, downloaded 3DS-specific games?
Re: There's a Limit on Transferring Software from One 3DS to Another
@SoulSilver IV: Just do what I'm going to do, ask if you can do the system transfer before you walk out of the store.
Re: There's a Limit on Transferring Software from One 3DS to Another
I feel like I would only need to use it once unless I want to steal some DSiWare from my friends, which I don't.
Re: Live Text: 3DS Events in Amsterdam and New York
lol, goodie bag with gum and......is that champagne? Well, glad you had fun, guys, can't wait to get me hands on this machine.
Oh, also, anyone have Sakurai's email?
Re: 3DS Hardware Details
Haha, I started laughing when I saw the Slide Pad being renamed the Circle Pad. Other than that, pretty awesome.

Re: Watch the 3DS Europe Event Live Online
@Corbs: What, and tax our fun?
Well, as long as it's still royalty-free, this event should be incredible, absolutely incredible.
Re: Plain Sight to Show its Self-Destructive Side on WiiWare
@V8 Ninja: Some crazy compression too complicated for an average tech student to understand, maybe?
Re: Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
Well, it's not the best in the series, but it's still fun as hell.
Re: Plain Sight to Show its Self-Destructive Side on WiiWare
Ha, this is awesome, I'll definitely be looking into this.
Re: Pac-Man Returns to Our TV Screens Via Unscripted Series

Re: Look Out Fireplacing, You've Got Competition
Can I throw someone into the fireplace? You know, just to make it more interesting?
Re: Nintendo Praises Sony and Microsoft's Contributions to Gaming Industry
I'm glad the companies are actually giving credit to each other. Helps spark innovation and competition a lot.
Re: Super Street Fighter IV 3D Takes the Fight to the World
@skywake: Of course, it's not Nintendo saying anything about lag-free online, it's Capcom this time, so comparing them is slightly different.
Anyway, this should be good! Of course, I'll probably have to get used to the more complicated combo system after playing TvC...

Oh. That's okay then.

Meh, not too big a deal. 9 times out of 10 I play my handhelds plugged in anyway.

I remember seeing something similar to this a few years back. Mario's such a freakin' ninja.

Re: Rayman 3D Rated by ESRB
Rayman Origins 3D, maybe? They did say a 3DS version was to be considered.
Re: Happy New Year from Nintendo Life!

Re: Dream Trigger Will Blow 3DS Up with its Sonar Attacks
"An arcade-style shooter that lets players use sonar to identify enemies and blow them up,"
That's one cool mechanic for a shoot-'em-up.
