I've got a 3DS and a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. I hardly use the phone for games.

The company that dominates the handheld gaming market is having trouble manufacturing a controller that is essentially the lower half of a 3DS. Something doesn't compute with this.

So we can't take advantage of the GAME offer without losing these downloads

From a retail POV, 3Ds is still lacking IMO. So the Wii U doesn't need much to better it.

These games are still in development. Eurogamer discussing the appearance of them is pointless.

Pre-ordered because it will obviously be less than that for launch.

Great news. Wanted to play this but couldn't be bothered getting it for my DC, which is a bit dodgy.

Before I saw the Wii U I was hoping that the style of the console would be a departure from the WIi. So I was hoping for something silver, with more of a hi-tech look. Perhaps like a Mac Mini.

I noticed in Gamestation today that they're asking for £5 deposits to pre-order the upcoming releases, such as SSX, Mass Effect 3 etc. Now, I really doubt SSX is going to be popular enough to warrant a £5 deposit to get it on day 1, so I smell a rat.

They're probably going out of business. Good riddance, I say.

Let's say it comes with one touchscreen controller and no bundled game like Wii Sports last time round, I'd pay £250 for a bundle that included a couple of launch titles.

It plays great and is a highly polished game but so far I'm not blown away like I was with the Wii version. MK could do with some new ideas. I'd love to be able to customise the races in MK GP mode. Take away weapons, make the races longer, choose the same karts for all players, etc.

Can't wait for Strider!!!

I'm convinced Nintendo does stupid things like this on purpose. I mean, it got things right with the NES and SNES, but since then they've appeared behind the game on so many occasions. They returned to form with the Wii but they're going backwards on the 3DS.
