@mariopartyfan68 the ps5 has great games. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean it doesn't. The xbox has had a very quiet first year but that's selling great for them. And the ps5 has had more games in its first year than the switch did. The ps5 will not have any drought(a few months doesn't count), the first months of the new year are packed. And Sony have stated they have 25 unannounced games in production. Lots to look forward to.
@Kilamanjaro I'm with you on enjoying the games, at the end of the day that's what matters. MS has 24 studios making games, Sony has said they have 25 unannounced games (nearly half being new IP) in production and Nintendo are just out there being Nintendo. Its going to be a great generation. I think you'll find that few GP subscribers are paying full price. I know quite a few who did the live gold into GP. Apparently you can still buy 24 months live gold, buy 1 month GPU and its converted 1 to 1. Not tried it myself. Plus quite a few are on PC GP and that's lots cheaper. Like I said, it will be interesting to see how it plays out long term.
@Kilamanjaro I would think that developers would want to always try new things, always push what can be done in games and make new exciting experiences. I believe both next gen machines will allow this because of the massive jump in the tech. I appreciate your love of older games, I personally don't replay many. Half life 1+2 and GOW 2018 being the exceptions. Yes it's great that an xbox one will be able to stream series x quality graphics, it gives the player choice(as long as their Internet is decent). But MS are doing this because all they care about is subscription numbers, that's their bottom line not hardware sales. You make some good points about gamepass and the business model, but it has yet to be proven to work. And I mean by that, to be sustainable. Most believe they are a long way from the numbers they need, and that it is bleeding money. That's OK because MS make billions, Sony couldn't afford that. Numbers are below their own forcast, though I think forza and halo launching will help that a great deal. Don't get me wrong I hope it succeeds, I want my series x to have loads to play for years to come. I only bought it for gamepass. I only have two concerns with gamepass. One is if MS continue to spend big and aquire more studios. They've said they aren't finished after the 7.5 billion Bethesda deal. A monopoly is never good for any industry. And the other is how it might be changing gamers. This year most multiplats (in the UK anyway) are selling 70-80% on Sony's platform in the first week. It doesn't look like xbox gamers are buying that many games, almost like they are being conditioned to wait for games to come to GP. Plus they have over a 100 games to always chose from. How will this effect studios/publishers in the future? How profitable is putting there game on GP? How many sales do they lose by doing this? The big games cost hundreds of millions to make. And from a personal perspective, I've tried loads of games from GP, which has been great. But I've found myself trying and disposing of them if I'm not quickly hooked, and I move on to the next one. I have no investment in the game so they become disposable. I bought returnal for ps5, cost me £60. Kicked my arse and I really didn't enjoy it too start with. But because I paid my own money I persevered and I'm so glad I did. Its my goty, such an amazing experience. If I'd have played it in GP I might not have found that out. But maybe that's my own failing.
@Kilamanjaro yeah gamepass does have tons of games, it's definitely the best value in gaming, no argument there. But that and BC are a business decision, nothing to do with new hardware and pushing gaming forward. MS does have the better business model, it will be interesting to see how that effects the gaming industry going into the future.
@Kilamanjaro I agree that xbox does BC better than Sony, but for me personally I don't care. I didn't spend £900 on two consoles to play olds games, I have no interest in 360/ps2 games. I want new experiences.
Yes you get less storage space, but more and more games are smaller on ps5 because of kraken tech. Control UE 26gb vs 43gb, AC Valhalla 42gb vs 72gb, Marvel avengers 74gb vs 117gb, resident evil village 27gb vs 50gb. That's 112gb in 4 games. That makes the size difference negligible. Also its better for downloading these games, especially if you have slow Internet.
And with the ssd and io throughput im not talking about load times, I'm talking about the removal of all bottlenecks. Epic developer's had to rewrite the unreal engine 5 core io sub systems because of the extreme speeds it can stream in content. It can load in 2GB of compressed data into memory in 0.27 seconds. It doesn't have to render what's behind you until you turn the stick. I'm not saying that the series consoles aren't bloody quick because they are. But they went for brute power, Sony went for nearly instantaneous transfer speeds that even top gaming pcs can't match at the moment, because they still have bottlenecks in certain places. Whether this is actually taken real advantage of during this generation has yet to be seen, but I've read loads of developers saying how it frees them to make new types of games and level design. I think it's this and the dualsense that probably got it the vote over the series x.
@Ratmasterd21 I'm not a fan boy of either, just like playing great games. And from a specs point of view there is hardly anything between them as has been shown by multiple DF tests, the ps5 has won more than its lost. Xbox has more grunt but the ps5 has a much faster IO through put. And when used well, the dualsense is light years ahead, the reason I buy all my 3rd party games on the ps5. But quick resume is great and smart delivery is certainly better than Sony's efforts. Maybe it's just all the great games I've played on my ps5 this year like deathloop, kena,R&C and returnal whereas xbox have only just started to deliver. Loving Forza H5 now and looking forward to halo campaign. Both great machines, we're lucky we own both.
@Kilamanjaro it plays 4000 ps4 games? Plus me personally I didn't buy either of them to play old games. And that's a software thing not hardware. And the whole adding storage makes me laugh, took me 5mins and that included hoovering out the dust ports. Plus it's cheaper and twice as fast as the xbox storage. Both are great machines, but the ps5 is the only one that feels next gen to me. The series x so far just feels like a faster xbox one x.
@durrdevil I have both and love them both for different reasons, but I would say it's because of the dualsense (adds lots of immersion) that feels new. The 3d audio. The twice as fast ssd and IO throughout that we have yet to see really used. And though the series x has more horsepower, the PS5 has beat in in quite a few tests, there is hardly anything between them. Yes the extendable storage is easier to do, but I put a 1TB ssd in for £170, twice as fast as the xbox storage and cost less. Just took 5mins. Yes xbox has better BC but the ps5 will still play 4000 ps4 games. And yeah gamepass is the best value in gaming by far, but that's software.
@mariopartyfan68 just out of mild curiosity, what is a Real Gamer? Is it someone who blindly buys whatever Nintendo puts out? I've seen you rubbish demon souls, thats a 92 on metacritic with a 8.0 user score, considered a masterpiece. But the pokemon game is sitting at 77 with a 6.1 user score? I think I know which one has had more care and attention put into it.
@kingbk how can you say they are likely the worst launches of your life time? The ps5 got to 10 million quicker than the ps4 and has a much better launch year of games. And MS have stated the series consoles are their fastest selling ever and gamepass is growing all the time?
@mariopartyfan68 the ps5 doesn't need games this Christmas season, it has a year of great games that you can play on it. Plus it's the most in demand bit of tech in the world right now, however many they can make they will sell.
@mariopartyfan68 wow you really don't like Sony eh 🤣🤣. Couldn't disagree with you more though. The ps5 has some brilliant games and it's selling extremely well. Latest reports say it's outselling both series consoles 2 to 1. It's selling nearly on par with the switches first year, and that's during a pandemic and a massive chip shortage. The 9th gen has a long way to go. And if you think games like returnal, R&C, deathloop, kena Bridge of spirits, demon souls, Spiderman MM, sackboy, operation tango(great coop game) are not great then 🤷. And again that's during a pandemic, we'd have Horizon forbidden west and GT7 this Christmas if we weren't going through that. But straight into the new year we have Horizon, GT7, Sifu, Forspoken, Stray, ghost wire tokyo and little devil inside. Plus all the brilliant 3rd party games coming like Elden Ring. I must be lucky with my dual sense controllers, I have 4 and they work great. No problems after 100s of hours. They are also the best controllers I've ever used, add loads of immersion and are greatly supported. Much more than HD rumble ever was. But maybe your right, after the best 2 financial quarters in the history of PlayStation, with the fastest selling console in their history they should just stop ✋! Plus I don't think you appreciate what a massive jump the ps5 is over the ps4. Personally I think it's an amazing time in gaming. I love my series x and gamepass, especially now they have launched Forza H5 and halo multiplayer, such a great value. The PS5 is delivering a great experience with more coming soon, and the switch is still powering along with another great year ahead. I'm very lucky I get to experience all 3 and what they have to offer.
@Gamer_Zeus I think your right, Sony have shifted their priorities away from Japan and are not suppling the country with stock. The home console market has been in decline for years there, handheld is king. Disagree that MS will ever over take Sony in hardware sales though, over a million gap already and one of the big chains has stopped selling xbox. But I don't think that's their strategy anyway, MS want people signed up to gamepass, and with X Cloud getting better all the time, that could be a massive hit in Japan.
@Zanzox I'm sure if they could get a hold of the consoles they would also be enjoying the amazing games that have come out on both systems this year. I've put 100s of hours into games on both my ps5 and series x this last year. Been a great year for gaming on all 3 systems.
@Anti-Matter more likely Japanese gamers can't buy the consoles. No point in sending your consoles to a market where the home console market has been in decline for years, ever since the ps2 really.
@TheWingedAvenger the ps5 already has great games (returnal, deathloop,R&C, demon souls). Sony have stated they have 25 games in development, nearly half being new ip! And the dualsense makes the new games that are cross gen so much better(kena being one of them)! And xbox has 24 studios with more likely to be bought in the next few years, they have lots and lots of games coming, they need them for gamepass!. Your living in dreamland if you think 3rd party developers are going to ignore those platforms and games that can launch on PC to make games for old switch hardware! I'll bet you here and now that the ps5 will outsell the ps4, and the series consoles will be MS's best selling consoles. In a couple of years 3rd party developers are going to start making next gen only games! Lots of them. You better get used to playing cloud games when that happens. Lucky that Nintendo have such amazing 1st party to fall back on. I don't think you understand the massive leap these new machines are, the games they will be able to create. They are just scratching the surface. 9th gen is here and now, and it's going to be great. You keep your head in the sand believing your beloved Nintendo is the pinnacle of games. I'll be over here playing great games on all three platforms.
@TheWingedAvenger you keep saying the same thing over and over again. Completely ignoring the fact that both Sony and MS are reporting record sales! You do know its OK for them to do well and for the switch to keep selling. And the whole no good exclusives makes me laugh, Returnal and R&C are both superb. And playing Forza H5 this morning on my series X, you wouldn't believe how good that game looks.
Would have to go for half life 2, a masterpiece. Though I think the original is one of them most influential games of that era. Both should be on the list.
@Euler you do realise that's all the ps5's for sale in Japan? Nintendo prioritise Japan, Sony don't anymore. Handheld is king in Japan and always will be.
@Mando44646 there are plenty of the normal version and lite available in the UK, amazon, game, curry's, very.co, smyths have all got them in stock. The oled though is a different matter.
@westman98 I would bet it's higher than 50%, but until they release the figures we just won't know. 🤷 It's had very good reviews across the board and high user scores. I'm sure it will have legs and be a good seller for them. I hope so anyway as I beat it last night and had a great time.
@westman98 but you have no idea of digital sales so who knows how much it sold. Most of the sales were on PlayStation, and since 71% of sales on that platform are digital, the numbers could be much higher. Anyway it's a great game and I'm loving it. I'm sure it's selling well enough for a sequel.
@SwitchForce maybe WallyWest could have phrased it better, but his point still stands. There was a slight gap between the switch and the ps4/ xbox 1 so a lot of games could be ported. But the gap between the switch and the next gen machines is Huge! The fact remains that when the 3rd party developers start making next gen only games utilising their enhanced hardware and speed, the only way switch owners will get to play them is through the cloud. But im sure the switch is still going to go on and sell millions more consoles and have some amazing 1st party/ indie and 3rd party support.
@N64-ROX Just out of interest what message is that? Yes cloud games on switch are way too expensive(should be at least half the price), and games like KH 1+ 2 should have been ported over and the company are just being lazy. But soon there is going to be a point where 3rd party devs make next gen only games. And unfortunately they will be almost impossible for the switch to run, not enough horsepower and certainly not enough memory. The ps4/ xbox one will be in the same boat. So until Nintendo releases more powerful hardware it will be either cloud or not coming to the platform. At least it gives players a choice.
I think it's fine for now, but I do wish they had put 8gb of ram inside at the start. Would have helped developers alot. My concern is when the 3rd party developers start doing next gen only games, they will be almost impossible to port! But I reckon the switch 2 will launch around 2023 to help in that regard.
@Nourldean exactly my point, the dedicated home console has been in decline in Japan since the ps2. Sony know this so prioritise the west now which makes business sense. They must be pleased is selling fastest than the ps4 though. Nintendo have the market in Japan with a brilliant hybrid design, nothing will change that now.
@Nourldean you do realise that's all the stock Sony are sending to Japan? Its not a big market for them anymore. And it still got to a million sold in Japan quicker than the ps4 so can't be doing to bad.
@TheWingedAvenger this is just Japan. Both the xbox series consoles and the ps5 are the fastest selling in both companies histories. Sony are making record profits and gamepass is growing. Bury your head in the sand all you like but the 9th gen are both killing it. You predicted wrong!
But the switch is still going very strong so all good for Nintendo.
@Torn what are you on about with the new xbox's and ps5? MS has stated they are the fastest selling xbox's ever and the ps5 is Sony's fastest selling console as well? The ps5 sold 10 million 3 weeks quicker than the ps4, and last time I checked the ps4 is not considered a flop. They also announced that this year's 1st quarter revenue is the highest in PlayStations history. Demand for the series x and ps5 is huge. Sony's selling a lot of games, xbox gamepass is growing at a steady rate and Nintendo is selling 3 versions of a extremely popular console. I like you think Nintendo have been coasting a bit this last year or so, but I also think it's one of the best times in gaming ever. All 3 companies are going in slightly different directions but all are doing great. Which is good news for me personally as I game on all 3 and have some amazing games to play now and in the coming years.
@XanderLovesNintendo no it doesn't, and I'll give you that the family subscription does let you use it across multiple systems. Which I do think is good value. For me I only have 1 switch and 1 ps5 so I compare them like that.
@XanderLovesNintendo your whole family gets ALL the ps+ features for the one price. All the online, chat, party, the plus games, the plus collection, discounts, cloud saves. So you could split the costs just like you said with that.
@Darkyoshi98 I have all 3 systems too, and in no way does Nintendo offer more. Their online is awful for the year 2021, the xbox 360 had better online functions, party and voice chat. With Nintendo you have to download an app on your phone! Games like fortnite and rocket league use dedicated servers but Nintendo don't. But Nintendo get away with it because, hey its Nintendo! They don't even offer cloud saves for every game. And my subscriptions for xbox and ps+ means my whole family can use the services, for the switch I have to get the family plan. And that pales in comparison.
The last couple of years the games they've added to the service have been on the whole, poor. Will be interesting to see what they add to this extra service over time. Like I've said before, at the end of the day it's optional, for some people it's great value, too others not. But compared to the others, and say the 36 new/newish games I get on ps+ a year for just £36(the price Sony offer it twice a year) its pure greed.
Well this has certainly been a fun and entertaining read. Like some have said, the value of the service depends on how much you like/ love the old games and the whole AC dlc thing. If that's your bag then great, to you it's a great value and well worth the money. My problem is when people start comparing it to other services, because then it just fails. With ps plus I get 36 games a year, modern games, some brand new releases. Also great online features and native voice chat. And heavy discounts on games throughout the year. And this is the big one for me, my whole family can use these services. And I've never paid more than £36 for it(discounted by Sony itself). Charging £60 for the family membership is just a joke for what they are offering. I still remember trying to explain to my youngest son why Mario maker 2 online was so bad, why is was almost completely unplayable. As much as I've loved Nintendo over the years and given them a lot of my money, this just reeks of greed. But at the end of the day it's optional, the market will show them if its the right call. I suspect they might regret this.
@ItsOKToBeOK if it's like the UK then not such a big deal. I can buy a series s from multiple stores right now with the click of a button, any version of ps5 no chance, especially the digital one that they make less of. Seems like MS are doing better this gen though in Japan.
@SwitchForce no your wrong. Both machines can do true 4k, digital foundry themselves have confirmed this many times running on the consoles. Many games are confirmed to be true 4k. Some maybe 30fps and some are 60fps. Show me any evidence that these games are not running in 4k? Black ops cold War runs at 4k 60, or you can have dynamic 4k 120fps on both machines. And your also wrong about pc's needing sli/cf to do 4k 60. A RTX 2070 super on its own can do 4k 60. Look at the benchmarks. Medium settings on apex legends is 4k 90 on this card. And this is the card many in the gaming media say the ps5 is equivalent to.
@SwitchForce both the series x and ps5 can do native 4k! And they are on AMD hardware so can't use dlss! AMD version fidelity FX has only just come out and they are just starting to use it now. Far cry 6 is 4k 60 the developers have stated themselves.
@SKTTR you do realise that's every ps5 that is in stock in Japan? That it sells out in seconds? Sony doesn't prioritise Japan any more, its Nintendo land. Has been for a few generations.
@Bizzyb took the ps4 12 months to hit 1.1 million sales in Japan. Japanese gamers love Nintendo. But since the PS5 is the fastest selling console in Sony's history, I'm sure they are not to worried.
@tntswitchfan68 yeah I think it will disappoint some. The not so demanding games will probably hit 60fps but not the big AAA. The deck is a very niche product, aiming mainly at PC gamers, whether they will be happy with the loss in resolution and frame rate time will tell. But some will probably just be happy they can continue to play their games anywhere they like. Once all the media stop hyping up the whole big comparison BS both machines will do their own things.
This confirms that Steam Deck has higher memory bandwidth than any LPDDR4 or DDR4 devices on the market (around 70% higher than a dual channel DDR4 3200 MT/s system) and will probably not face any bandwidth bottleneck on the GPU part.
And it will run a lot more than mobile games. I've seen videos of people playing games the switch can only dream of. It's a generation leap over the switch. And they say it should be possible to put the gamepass app on when you've side loaded windows.
But at the end of the day it's not going to effect Nintendos bottom line at all. The switch will still sell millions as they are target different audiences. If they sell 10 million decks I reckon valve will be happy.
I just think it's another great addition to what we all love, gaming. The more options the better.

Re: Japanese Charts: Shin Megami Tensei V Goes Straight To Number One
@Gamer_Zeus I think your right, Sony have shifted their priorities away from Japan and are not suppling the country with stock. The home console market has been in decline for years there, handheld is king. Disagree that MS will ever over take Sony in hardware sales though, over a million gap already and one of the big chains has stopped selling xbox.
But I don't think that's their strategy anyway, MS want people signed up to gamepass, and with X Cloud getting better all the time, that could be a massive hit in Japan.
Re: Japanese Charts: Shin Megami Tensei V Goes Straight To Number One
@Zanzox I'm sure if they could get a hold of the consoles they would also be enjoying the amazing games that have come out on both systems this year. I've put 100s of hours into games on both my ps5 and series x this last year. Been a great year for gaming on all 3 systems.
Re: Japanese Charts: Shin Megami Tensei V Goes Straight To Number One
@Anti-Matter more likely Japanese gamers can't buy the consoles. No point in sending your consoles to a market where the home console market has been in decline for years, ever since the ps2 really.
Re: The Switch Is Here To Stay, Says Nintendo Boss Shuntaro Furukawa
Re: The Switch Is Here To Stay, Says Nintendo Boss Shuntaro Furukawa
@TheWingedAvenger you keep saying the same thing over and over again. Completely ignoring the fact that both Sony and MS are reporting record sales! You do know its OK for them to do well and for the switch to keep selling. And the whole no good exclusives makes me laugh, Returnal and R&C are both superb. And playing Forza H5 this morning on my series X, you wouldn't believe how good that game looks.
Re: Zelda: BotW, Super Mario 64 And Pokémon GO Shortlisted For The Golden Joystick 'Ultimate Game Of All Time' Award
Would have to go for half life 2, a masterpiece. Though I think the original is one of them most influential games of that era. Both should be on the list.
Re: Japanese Charts: Mario Party Superstars Goes Top In A Busy Week For New Releases
@Euler you do realise that's all the ps5's for sale in Japan? Nintendo prioritise Japan, Sony don't anymore. Handheld is king in Japan and always will be.
Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Sold 92.87 Million Units, And It's Catching The Wii
@Mando44646 we must be lucky in the UK then, plenty of places have them in store.
Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Sold 92.87 Million Units, And It's Catching The Wii
@Mando44646 there are plenty of the normal version and lite available in the UK, amazon, game, curry's, very.co, smyths have all got them in stock. The oled though is a different matter.
Re: UK Charts: Mario Party Superstars Lands In Third As Metroid Dread Falls Out Of Top Ten
@westman98 I would bet it's higher than 50%, but until they release the figures we just won't know. 🤷 It's had very good reviews across the board and high user scores. I'm sure it will have legs and be a good seller for them.
I hope so anyway as I beat it last night and had a great time.
Re: UK Charts: Mario Party Superstars Lands In Third As Metroid Dread Falls Out Of Top Ten
Re: Review: Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cloud Version - A Disastrous Way To Play A Great Game
Re: Review: Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cloud Version - A Disastrous Way To Play A Great Game
Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Takes Switch Lead As Metroid Dread Drops To Seventh
@Outerdragon according to another site it came in at position 32.
Re: "I Don't Think The Switch Needs A More Powerful Version" Says 'World War Z' Lead Designer
I think it's fine for now, but I do wish they had put 8gb of ram inside at the start. Would have helped developers alot. My concern is when the 3rd party developers start doing next gen only games, they will be almost impossible to port! But I reckon the switch 2 will launch around 2023 to help in that regard.
Re: Japanese Charts: Metroid Dread Slips Down To Second, Switch OLED Leads Hardware Listings
Re: Japanese Charts: Metroid Dread Slips Down To Second, Switch OLED Leads Hardware Listings
@Nourldean you do realise that's all the stock Sony are sending to Japan? Its not a big market for them anymore. And it still got to a million sold in Japan quicker than the ps4 so can't be doing to bad.
Re: Japanese Charts: Metroid Dread Slips Down To Second, Switch OLED Leads Hardware Listings
Re: For The First Time In 33 Months, Switch Wasn't The US' Best-Selling Console In September
Re: Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Release Date And Pricing Revealed
@XanderLovesNintendo no it doesn't, and I'll give you that the family subscription does let you use it across multiple systems. Which I do think is good value. For me I only have 1 switch and 1 ps5 so I compare them like that.
Re: Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Release Date And Pricing Revealed
@XanderLovesNintendo your whole family gets ALL the ps+ features for the one price. All the online, chat, party, the plus games, the plus collection, discounts, cloud saves. So you could split the costs just like you said with that.
Re: Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Release Date And Pricing Revealed
Re: Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Release Date And Pricing Revealed
Re: UK Sales Data Shows A Strong Start For Switch OLED
@Bret in the UK you can buy a series s in loads of places. Amazon, curry's, argos and even the MS store, all are £249.
Re: UK Charts: Metroid Dread Just Had The Strongest Opening Week Of Any Metroid Game Ever
@Einherjar 47% of all far cry 6 sales were ps5, 63% of Alan wake sales were ps5. Not bad for a platform that doesn't exist eh!
Re: Poll: The Nintendo Switch OLED Is Out Today, Are You Getting One?
@ZeldaGoat not sure where you are but amazon.co.uk have both colours available to order for the 13th oct.
Re: Poll: The Nintendo Switch OLED Is Out Today, Are You Getting One?
Still really happy with my 2017 switch, still works fine. Plus I think it's way over priced for such old tech and a fancier screen.
Re: Japanese Charts: FIFA 22's Legacy Edition Is Switch's Best-Seller Of The Week
@ItsOKToBeOK if it's like the UK then not such a big deal. I can buy a series s from multiple stores right now with the click of a button, any version of ps5 no chance, especially the digital one that they make less of. Seems like MS are doing better this gen though in Japan.
Re: Patent Reveals Nintendo Is Working On Upscaling Technology
Re: Patent Reveals Nintendo Is Working On Upscaling Technology
@SwitchForce both the series x and ps5 can do native 4k! And they are on AMD hardware so can't use dlss! AMD version fidelity FX has only just come out and they are just starting to use it now. Far cry 6 is 4k 60 the developers have stated themselves.
Re: Japanese Charts: Dragon Ball Z Debuts In Second As Switch Takes Seven Of The Top Ten
@SmileMan64 yeah strange how it sells more on 9 million ps4/ps4 pros than on 1.1 million ps5's! 🤔
Re: Rumour: Developers Have Reportedly Been Working On "4K Switch Games"
@Richnj the PS5 can play plenty of games at native 4k.
But do agree with you that the switch 2 would be great if it was 1080p 60fps.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 25th)
Switch: helping my young son 100% odyssey. Dam that volley ball moon was hard!
PS5: kena, such a beautiful charming game. Reminds me of old zelda.
Re: Japanese Charts: Despite Launching In 2018, Minecraft Beats Zelda To Number One
@SKTTR you do realise that's every ps5 that is in stock in Japan? That it sells out in seconds? Sony doesn't prioritise Japan any more, its Nintendo land. Has been for a few generations.
Re: Japanese Charts: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Stays Top As Nintendo Dominates Top Ten
@Bizzyb took the ps4 12 months to hit 1.1 million sales in Japan. Japanese gamers love Nintendo. But since the PS5 is the fastest selling console in Sony's history, I'm sure they are not to worried.
Re: Random: 'Switch Vs Steam Deck' Memes Are A Thing Now, Apparently
@tntswitchfan68 yeah I think it will disappoint some. The not so demanding games will probably hit 60fps but not the big AAA. The deck is a very niche product, aiming mainly at PC gamers, whether they will be happy with the loss in resolution and frame rate time will tell. But some will probably just be happy they can continue to play their games anywhere they like.
Once all the media stop hyping up the whole big comparison BS both machines will do their own things.
Re: Random: 'Switch Vs Steam Deck' Memes Are A Thing Now, Apparently
@tntswitchfan68 so the deck has 16gb of ddr5 memory vs the switchs 4gb of ddr4 memory.
This is the latest info on the decks memory,
The updated version
16 GB LPDDR5 on-board RAM (5500 MT/s quad 32-bit channels)
