Famitsu's Japanese chart figures are now in for the week ending 26th September, revealing that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set has entered the rankings in second spot.
The game sold an estimated 42,074 copies in its opening week in Japan, making it the highest-charting Switch game of the week. First place (and third, actually) went to Lost Judgment, with the PS4 version outselling its PS5 counterpart.
Seven Switch games can be found in the top ten in total, with the recently released WarioWare: Get It Together! slipping down to fourth place from second.

Switch console sales are slightly up this week, but still considerably lower than the weekly totals we've become accustomed to seeing. Here are this week's figures, followed by lifetime sales in brackets:

Glad to see Lost Judgement doing ok. Japanese buyers waiting on the OLED most likely.
Momotetsu is like the GTAV of Japan.
Kakarot is pretty good so far. I loved DBZ as a kid, had all 42 manga books. But eventually I moved away from it, so these days I view it mostly with nostalgia glasses on. But the game's fun!
Piccolo still is the best character! Underrated!
Good to see every one is saving their money for the Switch OLED. Good to see the PS5 port of Tales of Arise sucking in Japan, goes to show nobody care about paying full price for a little raytracing.

Ring Fit's sales momentum is honestly amazing.
Its never dropped from top 10.

@Specter_of-the_OLED a lot of Japanese streamers play Minecraft so it probably drives up sales when viewers see it and then want to give it a shot themselves.

Woo, awesome debut for Lost Judgement... Though as usual, the PS4 version outsells the PS5 one. Good debut for Kakarot Switch.

It has less sales simply because there's a lot less people who have it.
Personally, if I had a PS5, I would have gladly bought it on that. But for now I see no reason to spend so much money on that thing.

I still prefer both Portal Knights and Dragon Quest Builders 2 over than Minecraft.
Kakarot actually doing good for a late port. HW down is normal. Expect a big spike for OLED date.

I'd be happy with a ps5 just to run my ps4 games. My ps4 is painfully slow...
