Re: Random: Brie Larson Says She's More Than Happy To Be In An Animal Crossing Movie

@NihilistNirvana Do you even have a life? Or do you search through message boards to defend a stranger who doesn't care about you? She said what she said, big deal. But instead of bringing a positive message, she added to the overall toxicity of the discussion by using her platform to break down and disparage a segment of the population for no reason. It was tone deaf, short sighted, and sexist. Then she plays the victim, and has half-wits like you online defending her. Let it go. Breath, it's going to be okay.

Re: Super Mario Party Finally Gets Its First Update, But It's Far From Exciting

No Halloween or winter boards last year, thought maybe they had something planned, anything... first update has nothing... Pathetic. Even after they said they were focused on supporting first party titles. They are charging full f'ing price ($80cad) for this. Love the rafting/rhythm/coop modes, but with so few boards, there is no reason to continue once you collect the gems.

@robr I have a wishlist set up on the switch, but it won't matter, because even the sale prices are a joke. They said they worked hard for 2 years or some bs on their eshop, and it's just a bad as the 3DS version. Constantly reminded that Nintendo is selling Switch/Games like hotcakes, yet I log in and still see garbage re-release ports from the past for $80cad. Am I surprised? No, Nintendo is a bunch of greedy, shady suits like everyone else, the cutesy characters are a good cover.

Awesome game, they really knocked it out of the park. Everything I wanted out of a successor to the Marble Blast series.

Re: Super Mario Party

The river rafting is like Outrun, with mini-games. The Partner Party has free movement, and is a really fun way to mix up the gameplay. The rhythm games are like Wario Ware. Toad has a rec room, there's also stickers, gems & more characters to unlock. Custom character dice blocks, and allies (which can stack). A bunch of power-ups. There's also a challenge road, where you play through 80 mini-games in a row while progressing down this really long road. There's so much going on.

My only issue is the four boards (three unlocked at start), hopefully they release some more

Re: Physical Release Of SteamWorld Dig 2 Gets Delayed In North America

@FarkyValentine Dig 1 is great, I actually decided to play it before 2 after my cousin told me 2 is quite short, and that it was hard to get in to 1 after how good the sequel is. I grabbed Heist and have enjoyed it enough to pump in at least 40 hours (I usually don't play turn-based strategy games, but the rpg elements tickled my fancy). It's fun & engaging, the crew you assemble is quirky and weird, the amount of weapons/items/hats to collect along the way, and abilities to unlock for each bot make the progression through the story feel worth it. If you enjoy the steambot universe they created, I would suggest at least checking out Heist as well.
