Would LOVE a new Fzero ive tried everything from FAST Racing Neo to Redout to GRIP but nothing seems to scratch that itch yet..

To all the naysayers here, these games all download fine with the full collection and run beautifully. You get a ton of gameplay for 50 dollars and it would be a disservice to yourself to not give them a try if you enjoy team multiplayer first person shooters in a creatively designed open world.

Personally I have no issue with the time traveling if that's what you're into. This game is intended to entertain and if that's what works for you go wild. I don't believe it effects online play negatively enough to be a relevant issue since you can choose who you visit and by what means.

Sooo.. to be clear he is NOT remaking the game, he is literally only coding it to make a "proof of concept" to film. cease and desist would likely only come from distribution of the game itself but since he is only doing it in order to make videos I don't really see the logic in that happening. 🤔

@Mgene15 I think it's great! Definitely a different feel from Doom 1 but I enjoy the suspense and storyline more in Doom 3, for 10 bucks its a steal for sure.

Really sad about this. Mainly because I was considering getting this based off the favorable comparisons to diablo 3 which i already own and love... why would i spend more money on a less user friendly alternative??

You can actually switch the control scheme in the settings.

This is a fantastic game and I’m confused why so many are turning it down for 30fps and online only rewards. Wifi is not a difficult thing to find these days and despite the 30fps lock this game looks, feels, and plays great on the switch. Limiting yourself from this great karting experience for those reasons seems very silly to me. The power slide mechanic is complex and takes a lot of patience and practice to get right but once you do I would say its even slightly more rewarding than perfecting mario kart 8’s techniques.

All this being said, the wumpa coin rewards for online are very inconsistent and discouraging for newcomers. From what I can understand you get awarded coins depending on how many people finish with you in the 30 second time cut-off starting when the first place winner crosses the finish line. This means if I have a really sizeable lead in first I can be awarded a huge amount of coins but my competitors won’t even get to finish the race. This also means that if I’m in a really close race and many players finish right after me I can get awarded little to no coins even if I do get first place. This needs to be reworked and patched for sure, but with the frequency we’ve been receiving updates since launch I have no doubt they will find us a solution soon..

I hate to say it for fear of backlash but the original version of this game may be my favorite racing game of all time (including mk8) and its definitely a contender for all time favorite game in general. Its great to hear they are taking a bit of extra care with this remaster and I really hope the mechanics mirror the original because they honestly still hold up to this day.

why can't we just have an easy export function (maybe online)? I would absolutely buy this if it was able to export creations. Otherwise you can literally only listen to your productions on the switch and never anywhere else... I'll pass.

Bought it and had a party after it released at midnight, phenomenal game! My friends and I had a blast playing it all night, I absolutely recommend this one to anyone on the fence. It’s simply that fun.

I am SOOO excited for this. Day one purchase.
